“Our cup overfloweth with joie de vivre to share with others”–motto for 2011 onwards.
This Christmas Eve is the month where a Maori Hollywood entertainment celebrity blog made history and hit the 2.8 million threshold thanks to you all worldwide. That’s never happened before in Hollywood’s entertainment history. Hawaii takes the top spot as both the 44thPresident of America and New Zealand’s Prime Minister vacation at the tropical jewel isles location of the USA.
Here in California this artwork at the Wiedeman gallery photographed in Hollywood this eve, reminds me of the umbrella I’ve been living under while living here in Hollywood California to date. Very French with a Hollywood twist. And Jakey Davis shines with two of his biggest fans, sister Taylor Jane and his mom, teen mom’s champion life coach - The Maori Rose of Sharon across the world in New Zealand. It’s all about children and their world we help and support them create. As you can see, I’m on Jakey’s program as he’s already busting out his Peace sign moves for photos, so fine like already, on a Kiwi beach. Too cute.
Hollywood entertainment and celebrity news on Christmas here in the Hollywood hood as voted by you the people worlwide. Here’s how we’re looking in our top ten today. Merry New Zealand Christmas and Happy Hollywood Christmas Eve. Thanks people.
Claim to Fame: Brother of Jakey Davis. He is also a fine rugby football player and a super basketball representative too with a good academic record.
Hallmarks at this early stage: From a compassionate community-minded family. Learning how to be a team player. Pride in Kaupapa Maori traditions and knowledge both IQ and EQ. Grandson of current community leaders. And this young guy is a friend of teen parent moms too. Not bad so far!
Hollywood Comment: And who is using more hair product than both Taylor Lautnerand Justin Bieber put together, with mo tumeke staunch-pouting going on than tuakana Cliff Curtis in a 3D action movie role or brotha Taika Cohen in that Boy movie… in his high school leadership photos, then aye? Mr Maori Kiwi-Staunch. Congratulations Louis III.
Kia kaha. Be wise. Be yourself. Lead. :)

I just spoke to my Maori mom on the phone wishing her and dad a very Merry California Christmas.
She was sooooooo excited to hear my voice in a way only a Maori mom is.
Hot topics of conversation were: Mom warning me about the perils of “Facebook oversharing.” Heavens forbid!
Mom is in her 70′s and she goes to see Bono live at U2 concerts and holidays in Paihia that is rark-it-up seaside resort township for New Year’s eve of New Zealand each year… so mom did make me laugh about Facebook. Apparently many of my beautiful, talented, breeding and entertaining family are having family Christmas in a New Zealand top secret Christmas party location, right at this minute. So… I just might have to ring into that party real soon, like So Undercover via the telephone via the top secret telephone number given to me by mom, and spice it up the party a little. ;)
To all my family/ whanau all friends in Christchurch, in Melbourne, in Papakura, in Beverly Hills, in Arizona, in China, at PPL HQ, in New Zealand, in Malibu, in Auckland The Supercity, on Catalina Island, in Westwood, in California, in Wellington and in Helensville –Mere Kirihimete, I love you and God bless.
[Christmas Artwork: Weideman Gallary snapped 10 mins ago, West Hollywood-Chanel No 5 Series of 4 and James Dean in Hollywood Headlights. Catalina Island photographic artwork of Avalon Bay hangs outside my apartmento door in Hollywood. Who would have thought?]
UPDATE: Hollywood = 1.59 am – NZ Boxing Day, USA Christmas: I so made the call. Christmas message on answerphone, okiez? Love ya all black! :)

1 bilion people in the world don’t have access to clean drinking water. Yet we are made up of 63% H2O as people. I think true celebrity is about whose moving water flows in the world. It’s as simple as something like that.
Nicole Richie is one of the brightest stars that does all year round. She’s our girl. Click on pic to learn more about what we can do through initiatives like Global Water.
To make clean water flow in dry places where it needs to be the most, let’s do it. Thanks. Love you all.

Arts & Culture as Skills: Military dance focus akin to Michael Jacksonand Janet Jacksondance discipline for inspiration and entertainment purposes in the world.
Creativity: They are self-taught, self-choreographed. The ensemble shines–a Polynesian-Kiwi art form in effect. Community in unison is star.
Vibe: Off the chain.
What should happen: They all should be cast in a 3D action film. So talented. They’ve got mad skills. Put these guys in super hero costumes then film them in 3D. Wow! They’d be amazing. Think Dwayne Johnson x 11.
Rating: Group effort, little budget, focus. High energy. They are self supporting artists. But the Result is 10/10. Awesome! Mighty men.
Demand: Performing in Melbourne Australia and Sydney Australia. Trans-Tasman dance group. Their current self-expression takes the form of dance experts. However, they are all stars in the making.
Very cool. Mauri ‘Ola Prestige. You’re rocking! You make me proud to be a Kiwi.

Photographs of the Hollywood Hills, the local Russia Delhi in front of where I live in Little Russia that serves up the best caviar in West Hollywood, Angelina Jolie‘s latest billboard 30 yards from home and the open street view of fair Santa Monica Blvd today.
As I upload these pictures to share with you all, I’m reminded that super rockers U2are performing live in New Zealand soon.
My Maori-Kiwi Helensville-raised mom is in her 70′s and is so excited when talking on the telephone that U2 are performing not too far from her Whangarei City hood in Auckland The Supercity soon.
She really wants to go and see Bono, The Edge and the lads live. Gorgeous Maori – Kiwi mums, they’re always too much fun!Where fun is, that’s where they can be found. Fun people need to be recharged with fun too. Mom knows where it’s at! Go Mom! :)
Here’s U2 performing live at the Rose Bowl, Pasadena California in an epic performance. Hollywood is still raving about it today.
Amazing Grace & Where The Streets Have No Name. Up! Liberty looks, feels and sounds like this today. Loving it from these Irish rockers here in Hollywood today. Bring it on!
[Jimi Hendrix Hollywood star, Walk of Fame, complete with Adventurous Maori motif jewelry, Hollywood Blvd California--especially for all kids of Auckland The Supercity, New Zealand and California who want to express themselves on the guitar. Hendrix's music mastery is legendary status music. Avoid all the other stuff, just learn his music. Hot! LOUDER PEOPLE! Skilfully on ten guitars, even. Why not?! Now that's a fine plan!]

[A brown owls/ els Parliament Post on Mining: In this video footage from Te Karere, The Maori News, Kelvin Davisof Ngati Manu, Karetu, Bay of Islands has some interesting thoughts to share on Maori and Kiwi mining. He is "no." My thoughts are, minerals are the allusion of wealth (a metaphor of sciences future direction linked into IT production too). Like diamonds allude to a wealth trail--minerals are the bait to attract other biz deals in a modern world, and you must have some minerals on the whanau table, or else you'll miss out on meeting global trade opportunities. I have ideas, but they're not being put on here. :)
Perhaps quality, limited supply, over quantity is a good balance for Kelvin's tribe--and being more strategic with developing the use of minerals as Maori tribes, so the supply is maximized and controlled more (for a purpose--not wasteful), to preserve the resource could be key too. China, India, America--all want minerals (a strategy to save oil usage on the planet)--specifically for green energy technologies advancement, so if the Kaupapa is green there may be a meeting point there. Always remain open. Put some family jewels on the table. Give a little. Diversity from tourism is key too. What to do to be a part of the global game? Watch this clip. Mauri O'la Kelvin Davis].

New Zealand is such an onto it, nation. Everything you can imagine is there in this paradise nation, naturally, but the leaders of this nation, are mindful that they are stewards for future generations of the wealth and abundance they collectively share.
The rare leadership displaying respect to the environment is, in-the-main, a unique cultural-economic role they play, called “Kaitiaki” which means a Guardian.
They are stewards and guardians of the future generations of New Zealand and this rules their thinking of a temporal sense of personal gratification and selfish use of the resources of the earth. To me, they are star leaders, their knowledge of the environment, woven into governance matters–is a star template for leading-edge, wise global leaders worldwide.
Within this context of leadership, a timely discussion is occurring with Maori leaders of New Zealand and Prime Minister John Key on the topic of mining. Here’s a full report from TV3 News on this issue, down under in the green paradise nation of Aotearoa/ New Zealand or Middle Earth as we know it too, in California.
TV3 NEWS reports: “Iwi leaders and the Government have met to discuss mining, and how Maori could be part of talks about future mining and energy issues to prevent disagreements such as that by East Coast Maori over oil exploration in the Ruakumara Basin.
Prime Minister John Key and Energy and Resources Minister Gerry Brownlee met the Iwi Leaders Group last night.
[Metiria Turei is a Green Party politician. Her party believes in the legalization of Marijuana and Preserving the Earth's resources with green-thinking strategies forward in a modern world. Whenever she appears on any political matter, she pops! Her political trajectory is colorful showcasing both the humor, theatricality yet intelligence of the New Zealand sense of showpersonship. Read her resume for chuckles. There's no Hollywood or Washington star quite like her]
[To visit Great Barrier Island go here. I went to school on this Island briefly with my siblings as a kid. Everything about it is other worldly. It's a country paradise surrounded by extraordinary beaches. It was like living on the set of that hit Hollywood TV series Fantasy Island every day. Great Barrier Island is real, but surreal. Beautiful. Go to this Island to let your children discover a quality adventure with nature.] News story continues.
Kalani Jones(L) of Auckland – The Supercity poses with Lani.
The Samoan-Kiwi hottie looks like her late grandmother, Aunty Maina Werne-Jones - a lady who died in Kenya while on safari, and who had the distinction of having the second most-attended funeral in New Zealand history in 1997 of a Kiwi not born in the green paradise nation. As a woman of Samoa with Mana in The South Pacific, Maina Werne-Jones was down to earth, heavenly-minded, loving and much loved.
Aunty Maina as she was affectionately known, is still sorely missed by Auckland City, Samoa and throughout The Pacific today. Her laugh was magic. She laughed a lot, always sharing her smile and joie de vie with a rare gift of joyful encouragement.
Kalani also looks like her gorgeous momma, Judi Jones. Kalani’s dad, Derek Jones can be found here with Judi, doing their bit providing Samoan-Kiwi flava and inspiration at a transitional time for Porirua City leadership in Wellywood – Hollywood’s sister-city for 3D film making expertise.
Porirua is currently in the middle of a surprise bi-election, as the US Secretary of State Hilary Rodham Clintonhas just recently touched down in Wellywood, a film making nation’s capitol city, at the time of writing from Hollywood. There’s a lot going on in New Zealand right now. It’s a hot diverse entertainment nation, destination.
At the top, of the North Island of New Zealand, Kalani lives in Auckland, The Supercity of this beautiful paradise-green nation.
If you live in Hollywood and follow Herman-Town’s Young Hollywood promotions expertise, you will know that Ms Kim Kardashian is styling and dressing America’s style conscious twenty-somethings, right now, here in the USA. Nationwide in the USA, Kim is currently doing this online 24 hours a day, with a skillful style package that consults and customizes fashion accessories to each individual customer. Smart.
.
Kim Kardashian is perhaps the only A-Listed reality TV Star in Hollywood, who is also a fashion merchandising mogul on the rise. If Kalani is like Kim Kardashian, I’m all for that. The world needs a Samoan-Kiwi style-queen I reckon. Especially one of Spirit — like Kalani Jones possesses, naturally. Check out Kim’s online biz ventures with Hollywood entertainment power-lawyer Robert Shapiro –at Shoe Dazzle. Amazin! They’re taking over stylish retail for the young in America–via their online storefront window instead. It’s a Kardashian underground movement of taste and style blitzing the USA.
.
Kalani Jones is rugby royalty of New Zealand, Samoa and the Commonwealth Affiliated Nations and Oceania Nations of the World. She is the niece of a rugby player who England’s Will Carling listed in the UK Telegraph as being the no.2 rugby footballer in the world of all time. Kalani’s father Derek, is also a good rugby footballer too.
.
As a future rising star of New Zealand & The South Pacific – Kalani Jones has got it all going on in her star mix and this kid loves God too. Not a bad combo for grounded balance to balance out the craziness of fame that lies ahead of her, I reckon. Go kid! If ever there was a girl in New Zealand worthy of a reality TV series of her own, to weave in a stellar cast of characters who surround her in everyday life, Kalani Jones is one such star of great potential to lead, entertain, inspire her generation. Oh… btw:

[Music: Sun Goes Down - Nesian MystiK & Luther Vandross tribute to Lena Horne going up too as a homage for Aunty Maina Jones' legacy as a humanitarian activist of Compassion & Love--Hollywood today.]

Let’s go Auckland. Porirua City & Let’s go SAMOA! Mauri ‘Ola.
This post going via Kalani’s Maori Aunties of Oak Ridge Camp, Whangarei City, Northland via The City of Angels & “Uncle Sam” born in Fiji, and I guess… your Uncle Derek Farmer (and Farmer Brotherhood) too – now of Australia. In the words of Avatarin 3D: We see you! :)
.
Reality TV Series Idea: Kalani goes to Wellywood (Porirua).
Here’s a pic of my two Rachels. My sister Rachel and my niece Crystal Rachel.
I love these Maori-Kiwi girls. Sweet spirited ladies. They are the best. In life, I have always lived amongst els. The beauty of this, was that I had nothing to do with it, but received the blessings from this fact of life, anyway.
Hi Rachel Angels. Love you and am proud of you. xox

Excellence in one’s field is about practice, focus, discpline and in this case, speed. Usain Bolt became the world’s fastest man over the 100 meters sprint, when he smashed the old world record, setting a new record of 9.58 seconds.
Bolt was competing at the IAAF Berlin 2009 – World Championships on 16.08.2009.
I remember when I was a kid doing track and my Maori mom used to scream at me to run faster as I sprinted. So she wouldn’t shame me out in front of all my friends and their folks, I stayed ahead of the pack, to reduce her excited screams. It helped.
I wonder what Usain’s Jamaican momma was doing, as he set a new record and made world history on the track. His mom was probably having a near heart attack. How exciting!
Says Bolt: “I was feeling good after the semis. I knew it was going to be a great race and I executed it,” Bolt said. “It’s a great time, a great feeling, I feel good in myself and I knew I could do it.
”There was a big build up, great atmosphere. It wasn’t going to be an easy race but I had a perfect start and just went from there.
”I came out here to do my best and I did what I had to do. There’ll be no partying for me ahead of Tuesday. I’ll rest up as always, I need to rest up for the 200m.”
Congratulations to Usain Bolt. That’s totally awesome! He smashed the previous world record that was 9.69 seconds. This record he had also set himself. He’s his own competition and no can catch him.
To read more about his gold medial achievements today, go here.
Here’s some Kiwi hotness in the form of New Zealand actor, Karl Urban, who is in JJ Abrams’ Star Trek. I stole borrowed this pic off handson.provocateuse, to promote Karl.
But not really, Karl is married to my cousin Aroha’s daughter, (for real!) so we’re all good here on Horiwood.Com. I’m just borrowing back the pic from the whanau (family) album, right? By the way, New Zealand is a beautiful country. Get there in your lifetime and enjoy it. Oh… Kia Ora cuzzie Karl! :)
