BARACK OBAMA: FIRST 100 DAYS PRESS CONFERENCE WORDS
[image source] In his address of his historic first 100 Days in Office as America’s 44th President of The United States, Barack Obama was full of gratification, gratitude, reflective wisdom and a tone of sincere leadership with the mammoth task at hand concerning realigning America to meet the rigors she faces in the crises of a global recession.
In particular, I liked these things about his address: he got the budget passed whether we agree with the way the money will be spent or not!, he’s offered a tax break to 95% of all American working families who are hanging on for dear life in these challenging times. He’s also thinking of 11 million US children who didn’t have adequate health insurance while trying to address the housing bubble crises here in the US.
He stands by his main four areas of redress in his presidency (education reform, renewable energy reform and its innovative development that will create new employment for Americans, health care infrastructure reform which will save billions; and… better foreign affairs relations in moving forward in peace and not with a war narrative of bullying ignorant destruction which costs America a lot of money for generations later to pay).
It fascinates me, that he feels America is a beacon of hope for weary travelers around the world. Personally, I have never worked harder, from the moment I touched down on American soil in my life. As a foreign press reporter, and a guest in America, the country has offered many moments for character growth for me personally in trying to see, find and engage in an American point of view that is more internationally friendly and relevant in a forum that I can give my view as an equal and global citizen of value. I do hold a Masters degree and I look forward to more intelligent banter with my fellow world citizens here in America, in the future. This excites me and yes, America still excites me too. We love her, whether we are from within her shores or not! She’s a great country, to be cherished, encouraged, strengthened and not depleted, for the good of the world. This is my hope and belief as I write from and live in Hollywood, California each day.
At times, engaging in dialogue with Americans has been a challenge for me to create access points towards a sense of global fairness with Americans from a basis of ‘what’s best and fair’ for the world, more so than any other country or culture that I’ve been exposed too, so I am glad that the new President is addressing foreign affairs, the psychological debilitating and paralyzing disease of that once constructed delusion of American over-entitlement, international relations concerning the American people and ‘the other’ outside of the bloodlines born within American shores or granted its citizenship status.
Barack Obama’s aggressive drive to be seen as more fair with world leaders of other nations is positive for America and the world, and is perhaps pivotal in making America stronger and healthier and more transparent for dialogue with other nations and the world. It’s when we dialogue that new gifts are exchanged between on culture and nation to another. We are all in this together and America’s new leader knows this so well. It’s heartening to see and be a part of here.
I also love the fact that President Barack Obama, seeks wisdom from world leaders before him, whether they are living or have passed on in the cannons of history. An eagle must find the food from other eagles who have navigated the world’s blustery winds before. Obama does this, very humbly by quoting Winston Churchill, the famous UK prime minister with stout leadership skills, on the topic of torture. Here’s what he said:
“I was struck by an article that I was reading the other day talking about the fact that the British during World War II, when London was being bombed to smithereens, had 200 or so detainees. And Churchill said, “We don’t torture,” when the entire British — all of the British people were being subjected to unimaginable risk and threat.” The overall view being, that if you disrespect even your enemies humanity, it will eventually corrode the character of your own nation and people. So wise!
America is in good hands. President Barack Obama’s full transcript of his First 100 Days speech follows. Enjoy! Peace Ya’ll, Sam Cruickshank of Horiwood.Com

BARACK OBAMA HAS JOB APPROVAL FROM AMERICANS
President Barack Obama’s job approval ratings fare well with 2/3rds of the American people and also the “well to do.” That’s a coup! Not a bad result at all heading up to the first 100 days mark of his presidency. As we all know, the first 100 days of a new President are important, as history shows us, what they achieve and instigate in this time frame sets the agenda of their entire presidential term(s). Pretty much!
Nice job Mr President in gaining a groundswell of support with the populous.

OBAMA – ROCK SOLID! AMERICA REBUILDS HER ECONOMY
President Obama, quotes Jesus from the Sermon on The Mount, to say that the American economy must be built on the rock. It must be sustainable. A culture of instant gratification must be avoided. The US must export more products and consume less. New innovations is the way of the future. No longer “borrow + spend” but now “save + invest” is the new plan for all Americans.
