BIZ STONE ON TWITTER BENEFITTING HUMANITY
Says Biz Stone a Twitter founder:
“I would like to see a lot less people hunched over computers in their offices in five years,” said Stone, 36.
“There is no better filter than people that you know and trust,” he said.
Twitter, said Stone, “is not going to be a triumph of technology — it’s going to be a triumph of humanity … the growth potential is there from a positive change perspective, not just a business perspective.”
He sure has his benefits-marketing repartee down pat. The right man for the job.
Meanwhile via twitter, “Still enchanted by images of Circassian dancers last night. Beautiful combination of grace & energy.” Queen Rania of Jordan tweeted.
Without twitter, most of us wouldn’t know what Circassian dancers are.
Stone’s point being proven again. It’s insane though, that world leaders are relying more on Facebook, Twitter Owner’s technology to rule their kingdoms and share their views. Exciting too. IT Kings, have knowledge accumulation like few other leaders have. Every word we type, they own.

COURTNEY COX SPLIT IS PEOPLE’S COVER AND DAVID ARQUETTE APOLOGIZES FOR OVERSHARING
The latest on the David Arquette and Courtney Cox split.
She said: Nothing. Because she has the cover of People Magazine.
He said for saying: “You knew this was coming. David Arquette is now apologizing for talking about his marriage troubles with Courteney Cox on Howard Stern’s satellite radio show. Arquette tweets that he “shared too much.”
He says it’s not wrong for him to be honest about his feelings, but some of the things he said “involved others” and for that, he says he’s “sorry and humbled.”

[People Magazine - USA is read by aprox 20 million people per issue. There are 56 chances to land a cover each year. Courtney gets one of those, as her 11 year relationship gets tested before a movie date release. Very Bullock-esque, Taylor-Burton publicity amidst genuine love and pain.]
With one in every hair color, America’s favorite polygamists, also feature on this cover in the form of the cast of reality TV show, Sister Wives. A different view from inside one American household, that’s giving the Kardashian family a run for their ratings money. A show like this makes an audience question hidden subtexts of psychological spousal abuse vs man that guy’s smile could be just a little bit toooooooooooo happy. But what a smile. You can’t take that away from him.
Needless to say Val (my next door neighbor) could possibly sit these girls down and read them some vintage Germaine Greer, with words like:
“Women have somehow been separated from their libido, from their faculty of desire, from their sexuality. They’ve become suspicious about it. Like beasts, for example, who are castrated in farming in order to serve their master’s ulterior motives—to be fattened or made docile—women have been cut off from their capacity for action. And Val reading this complete with Chola brows raised on the word “changed” for dramatic effect, on set of this show would be such whack TV.
I guess such stunts, will be included by the show’s producer for season three. No one’s talking about David and Courtney much, but America sure is talking about this show.
Meanwhile Christina Arguilera‘s divorce drams (papers served today), turn her into a solo star again, with no visual mention by People of Jordan Bratman. Harsh. And she sings: It’s a Man’s World as a show stopper. That’s diva funny.

WHAT’S WASHINGTON UP TO? – THU 10.7.10
According to The Washington Post today, the Capitol city was focused on:
- Obama veto-ing the foreclosures bill.
- Addressing campaign one-up-personships via candidates tweeting, to sway last minute voters, their way. Twitter culture voters are us.
- China and the US are shopping at the GAP, but not the clothing store. The Post says a ‘gap of mistrust’ has opened up between the two nations. Which is polite speak from a US president of either saying: a) it’s time for a not so friendly game of ping pong. b) stop rigging your dollar, and wrecking the world economy with an unfair advantage. And b) Obama is probably going to visit soon, so this is a very dramatic way of announcing, he’s soon to get on a plane, China bound.
On a side note, when the U.S has borrowed money from China, how much does China take the U.S seriously? Just a thought, to consider, amongst these show biz political times, perhaps. Not that people in debt, aren’t right. Often they are more conscious of ethics and wisdom, and have exactly what is need to be listened to for good direction. Regardless of these facts, Apple is doing well in China, many American business people too, so if you can’t beat them, join them perhaps within Chinese borders and produce and earn.
