The black Volvo car just got a little boost in sales with help from Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on the set of Eclipse in Canada.
Eclipse opens at theaters on June 30th 2010. There will be no black Volvo’s left to buy for Twilight fans by then of course. Oh that’s right, there’ll be the book about the Volvo Eclipse car you can buy instead, released on May 30th, just in time to be the ideal movie companion to Twilight Eclipse for car lovers and Twilight fans.
But seriously, what a great little car from Volvo.
Before I came to live in the celebrity cesspit oops, I mean A-Listed glamour town, that is known as Hollywood LA, I was brought up in beautiful New Zealand, where to love thy neighbor with courtesy and respect is one of the hallmarks of New Zealand charm and culture. We are kind of very Midwest American and Southern in that regard.

Yes it’s true. Twilight Saga, New Moon tickets that are being presold for the November 20th release date of the film, have almost sold out. That must be the scariest movie release date ever for Hollywood studios who are competing the weekend of November 20th against Stephenie Meyer’s epic love story at the box office.
Yes, it’s the best time for studios to reshuffle their film premiere schedules and dump all of their risky films at the box office at the same time as New Moon, if they want their good films to have a box office #1 reputation. Such is the Twilight effect on Hollywood. Oh, and did we mention that Native American Indian actors like Taylor Lautner, are helping reinvent Hollywood history’s film distribution wheel. History is being rewritten by the cast and crew of Twilight, at Stephenie Meyer’s skilled author’s vision, business brains and hands. Truly remarkable!
MovieTickets.com report how over a dozen of their New Moon show times have been totally sold out. Fandango reports 50—50!—sell-out New Moon screenings. Fandago are also officially reporting that New Moon is already its top-seller heading into this weekend. Comcast owns Fandango.
Congratulations to Summit Entertainment and Stephenie Meyers and cast, for marketing brilliance that reinvents the wheel in creating a demand for film distribution, that’s ahead of the game by 10 weeks. Wow!
New Moon’s saleable popularity with audiences is just more proof that a popular book series, turned into a movie series, is the one of the most desirable and wisest ways to go! The book is a powerful tool at cinemas. Twilight Saga readers and movie goers will also enjoy the love story Courage To Love by Californian author, Robert Ellis.
The Ten Top MTV VMA Awards moments of 2009 that stood out, were:
1. Michael Jackson’s footage of the King of Pop performing his greatest hits, was a level of performance, that perhaps only Beyonce is matching at this level, singing live and storytelling through constant, rigorous dance choreography. Of course this was staged (as was the Eminem and Bruno prank at the MTV Popcorn Awards earlier this year), but it seemed so real, even Pink tweeted about it before her performance. Kanye created a moment that stole the show.
L.J Smith wrote The Vampires Diaries books 14 years before Stephenie Meyers published the Twilight Saga books.

Talk about Hell Ride and your character in that film.
The movie’s about this biker gang. I play [Cherokee Kissum] the former lover of Larry Bishop’s character, and I get killed by their rival gang a long time ago. They are trying to avenge my death. She’s the emotional driving force of the plot. She’s all in flashbacks, which tell that story of why the characters are doing what they’re doing.
This film is very much like Grindhouse. And there’s so much tits and ass in the film. Are you comfortable with that?
Cherokee Kissum is the only female role besides maybe one other in the film that I would have been comfortable playing. She isn’t just tits and ass. She wasn’t a conquest. She was very important to these people. They respected her. It was important to tell her story because otherwise the movie wouldn’t work.
Who is your character on ER this season?
Kaya Montoya. She’s a medical student. Also, she’s Native American. When she comes in, people underestimate her. She actually has a lot of experience.
You get some great character names.
That’s because I’m an Indian. But Cherokee Kissum is the best name ever. I will never have a better name than that.Comment: I think I watched every episode of ER last season. I don’t particularly remember the Kaya Montoya character. I’m pretty sure she never said one word about being Native.
