JACKSON ESTATE SYMBOLS via MISS JANET for HER BROTHER’S GIFTS TO ENTERTAIN

Alrighty, I am still obsessing on the fact that Michael Jackson as a brand to entertain, still rocks on, because his architecture as an entertaining King, has a life force of it’s own–with or without him.

That’s nuts. For a fragile dude, he sure built a solid kingdom of entertainment to model. Look at this stuff fly. It’s the real deal of a King. Dance is celebrated in these images of art and performance. Monarch butterflies and Doves feature too.

These are the symbols that Jackson’s children and Miss Janet Jackson – MJ’s sister, are presenting to his fans and the world.

There is no more successful American who proved they could cross over and appeal to India, like Michael Jackson. He “lived beyond color lines, geographical borders and boundaries” to paraphrase his sister’s Rhythm Nation lyrics.

He was cross-cultural, all people he saw as being the same. As a culture maker, and America’s King of Pop he saw his role as creating symbology for his fans, so that they could have  a sense of global culture that resonated with them all.

Seriously though, as New Zealand is the nation that creates Jackson-Taylor Monarchs in 3D  in the 2010′s of cinema mastery –we perhaps need a ‘royal cinematic meeting of entertainment minds’ with one of MJ’s kids or his nieces or nephews (we’re not fussy), to star in our Hobbit films, to cement that point. What a cool idea.

Let me play ‘stand in’ Hollywood casting agent on this one…  We’ll go for Blanket Jackson thanks, as a Hobbit prince of Latino descent. :)Having seen both Michael and Janet Jackson both perform live in concert in Auckland at Mt Smart Stadium, New Zealand with friend, Trinity Brooke, I think Blanket would rock, following in the footsteps of the family, in a Hobbit film shot in 3D and Middle Earth. Imagine that! A real Jackson Hobbit too. Perfect!

Enjoy these images, from Blanket’s Estates’ one page ad in the LA Times today. A paper that services a city and associated cities of 20 million people.

TRINITY BROOKE AND SIMON BROOKE, TRIATHLETES OF THE U.K, CAN WHIP IT!

Looking at triathletes Trinity Brooke & Simon Brooke relaxing in a London park, reminds me of vintage Lee Majors & Farrah Fawcett for some reason. Must be the beaming smiles of a couple in love and a shared passion of fitness and sports, for these relatively new parents of baby Oscar Brooke.

I hear that when this couple compete in triathlons that they can Whip It smoother than an Aussie cockatoo can pop it to a Willow Smith song. Good stuff.

Hey Team. Hi & Kia Ora from Hollywood, California.

THE MAORI QUEEN OF CUISINE ON THE MAORI QUEEN OF FILMMAKING

Via email: “Well Bird [Bird Runngwater] and 2 other Indians and Cliffy [Cliff Curtis] and Taika [Taika Cohen] came back for Merata’s [Merata Mita's] funeral. She had a stroke.

Long weekend here I’m up at Pakiri on my own enjoying the peace and quiet although stormy outside.”

Aw!

[And as The Maori Queen of Cuisine, Merata and their husbands (Fred and Geoff) grew up enjoying the music of Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones--M used to joke that really she was Jerry Hall --I should perhaps play a little Mick Jagger at this moment, especially for Kepa Murphy and Trinity Brooke and Twinkle Toes--Taylor Thomas Thorp and Oscar Frederick Brooke, because that's how 'we' roll. However, I will reflect the Kiwi-American gentility of decorum instead--our best look--and go with Frank and Nat King Cole's daughter's ditty instead. Mr Jagger is photographed at the Weideman Gallery in West Hollywood, June 2010 for Merata]

nb: Mrs Kai Ora, Queen of Parnell, TV Star of Ngati Awa was Merata’s undisputed favorite chef in the World, because of her healthy life-giving cuisine made of Aroha/ Aloha. She’s the best in the Southern Hemisphere. M and Anne were soul sistas of sorts, Merata always wanted Anne to be her film editor–at one point–but Anne was too busy feeding everyone. Today, reflected in their art, that they, their husbands and families produced from their households and hearts– they teach us/ their audiences/ how to wear our hats. Thank you.
