CHELSEA HANDLER’S STAR GETS HOTTER AND THE HORIWOOD TOP TEN 11-26-10
Everything about Los Angeles talk show host Chelsea Handler is hot these days.
Above, Chelsea managed to get Taylor Swift onto her show to confess she’s a fan. Handler is having Thanksgiving holidays with Jennifer Aniston in Los Cabos, Mexico (see pics below) and even her co-hosts/ writers of The Chelsea Lately Show are appearing in Hollywood comedies like Morning Glory and No Strings Attached. This is what can happen to girls who are half Catholic, half Jewish from New Jersey and who are funny and date their boss. Love it.
In fairness, I’m running this Chelsea Handler spotlight post today as Chelsea’s Boss’ Boss of E! Entertainment Television is Comcast and NBC/ Universal, who are broadcasting The Rugby World Cup in America next year. This makes them super hot for that pioneering sports spirit. By proxi, Chelsea Handler and her team too. Nice work from Chelsea all round in L.A! A funny girl.

TAYLOR SWIFT SAYS – I DON’T NEED A MAN TO BE HAPPY, JUST MY MUSIC
You know it’s a fierce publicity game in Hollywood – when three men – have to be pimped to get one diva – onto the cover of People Magazine. Swift takes the cover of People Magazine. Ruthless publicity!
‘Publicity Polygamy’ in Hollywood looks like Taylor Swift today. Dropping three celebrity boys names, so press can use old pics of them too – Swift’s switched out ‘fake’ take on Sisters Wives reality TV series interest, has the country star casting herself as a judge of three men she’s dated. Cool or not?
In West Hollywood, such behavior would get you stoned by corn chips at Merricks: Tex Mex on all-you-can-eat “Taco Tuesdays.” However, knowing Hollywood lads, all these three boys, don’t care, they’ll take the publicity Swift is generating for them, so they can have a slack week. Here’s the story.
Taylor Swift - the Country star who eats men who date her or songwrite with her, for publicity like vampira – has this to say:
“Speaking in an interview in the new edition of People magazine out this Friday (22.10.10), she said: “Being single is wonderful and I love it. I don’t ever have a morning where I wake up and say, ‘I really need to find a boyfriend today.’”
However, Taylor — who claims dealing with heartache when dating, and turmoiled emotions that go with it, explained: “I will say everything in my music. There’s been extreme joy, extreme pain, extreme curveballs. Sometimes when things impact you so intensely, it takes writing a song to get over them.”
I agree with Swift’s statement. She can not handle a man. What she needs is a ‘boy poodle’ whose collar she can yank on, when her fame addiction requires. Seriously, this diva is not man safe. Joking. Good PR to flog her new album though.
Jesting aside, strong country women, are much needed, no matter how badly Swift plays it out in the press. This is her message to her target female audience. A good one, if you live in the country, the reason why I’m running this story today.

BOY BASHING SONGWRITING and JENNIFER ANISTON BULLYING by TAYLOR SWIFT for JOHN MAYER
It’s a true fact that country girls are masters at bagging a cowboy, once spurned in a country music ballad. This always wins them mega awards at the CMA’s and radio play too. Country folk are very empathetic people, and love an artist who appeals to their empathy capacities as an audience.
However, when it comes to singer songwriter (darling) Taylor Swift she needs to change the record. After getting ‘interrupted’ by Kanye West at the VMA’s two awards shows back, Swift catapulted into an untouchable spotlight, where to bag her, was a complete no-no. It’s a tactic we’ve seen Sandra Bullock use too, playing the empathy card, with her “messy” divorce from her not-even-real marriage to that bad *ss tattoo-ed ex-husband, Jesse James‘ back yard couch casting flings with girls more tattoo-ed then him. Jesse prompted Joy Behar to comment on The View, “I can see the attraction, with James and Michelle McGee. It would take them a whole day to read each other’s bodies.” Funny, like a day at the library for a bogan biker.
However, when it comes to Taylor Swift, now writing a song, where she bags John Mayer, one can’t help but see this team effort as being a little bit ‘wanna-be-Kanye-bad’ some more, from these two musical kids. (more…)
TAYLOR SWIFT ON THERE IS NO PATTERN, FOR LOVE
Shares Taylor Swift from Parade Magazine: “ there is no pattern. Absolutely nothing is predictable in love or in life.”
Aint that the truth. That makes life, so much more exciting to live and be a part of today.
Who wants to be predictable, when we could be missing the new discoveries of the century? Risk it all, I say, like all of the explorers and discovers before us did. In that moment we are the future.
Having said that, I love predicatable people. They’re different.
Taylor Swift represents the vibe of many young people today, looking on at America, asking what is love? It can be confusing, especially for teens. Here’s one answer. Even when being tested and defined, in spirit, Love goes Up. Our job is to believe in love and take others up to.

In casting my pig-styed eye over The Washington Post today, here’s what’s going on:
Elena Kagan lands the cover photo. Guatemala thinks they were Vietman, but in the 40s. In an ironic twist out, the Taliban‘s propaganda machine is allegedly much bigger than Americas? And poses a threat? No!
Why Bank of America is the biggest bank is a mystery, its the worst. Fed’s are at the ready to act and save the economy. A CNN anchor gets fired for refusing to see that Jews are a minority. Let alone smart, in key media roles. In a way, that’s a blessing for CNN, because they desperately need the ratings right now. And a rat – replaces the panda bear from yesterday.

LEONARD COHEN IS DA MAN!
Mr groovy, Leonard Cohen was honored last night alongwith Taylor Swift as both were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame at the Marriott in New York City. Too much!
Recalls Judy Collins ”[Leonard] said, ‘I can’t sing and I can’t play the guitar, and I don’t know if this is a song [before singing Suzanne]. ”I said, ‘Leonard, it’s a song and I’m recording it tomorrow.’”
Thank goodness for onto it woman with good taste in what a song can be. It’s good Collins never watched this boat go by and she recorded him. Leonard Cohen is a genius. A poet from Canada who does the art of cool, calm and uber chill–like no other. Here’s Cohen performing Democracy. Just for my reality TV show watchers. I See You and I love You anyway… too. Katy Perry was such a sweetheart joining Taylor Swift on stage last night at the Staples Center here in LA, for a version of Hot N Cold.
This is a good thing as Perry has never performed before in a venue as large as The Staples Center, so it’s good practice for her and her upcomong album’s future tour. Go girls!

It has been Taylor Swift‘s year already in 2010. The actress won for Best Female Artist, last night at The People’s Choice Awards.
Taylor Lautner won for best break-out star. Carrie Underwood for Best Country Artist, and Lady Gaga for Favorite Pop Artist.
When Lautner won his award, Swift and her mother, were both seen to stand and applaud the teen.
Congrats to all the winners. Awesome!

BANDIT GLEE COWBOYS – WEST HOLLYWOOD ROCKS CINCO DE MAYO
What were the kids of West Hollywood up to last night for Cinco de Mayo? Nada much but a little bit of tequila, lime, salt and good old fashioned rock n’ roll –along the bar tops of Los Angeles. It’s kinda of like the movie Coyote Ugly that starred Tyra Banks–but the flipped out version.
