JACKSON ESTATE SYMBOLS via MISS JANET for HER BROTHER’S GIFTS TO ENTERTAIN

Alrighty, I am still obsessing on the fact that Michael Jackson as a brand to entertain, still rocks on, because his architecture as an entertaining King, has a life force of it’s own–with or without him.

That’s nuts. For a fragile dude, he sure built a solid kingdom of entertainment to model. Look at this stuff fly. It’s the real deal of a King. Dance is celebrated in these images of art and performance. Monarch butterflies and Doves feature too.

These are the symbols that Jackson’s children and Miss Janet Jackson – MJ’s sister, are presenting to his fans and the world.

There is no more successful American who proved they could cross over and appeal to India, like Michael Jackson. He “lived beyond color lines, geographical borders and boundaries” to paraphrase his sister’s Rhythm Nation lyrics.

He was cross-cultural, all people he saw as being the same. As a culture maker, and America’s King of Pop he saw his role as creating symbology for his fans, so that they could have  a sense of global culture that resonated with them all.

Seriously though, as New Zealand is the nation that creates Jackson-Taylor Monarchs in 3D  in the 2010′s of cinema mastery –we perhaps need a ‘royal cinematic meeting of entertainment minds’ with one of MJ’s kids or his nieces or nephews (we’re not fussy), to star in our Hobbit films, to cement that point. What a cool idea.

Let me play ‘stand in’ Hollywood casting agent on this one…  We’ll go for Blanket Jackson thanks, as a Hobbit prince of Latino descent. :)Having seen both Michael and Janet Jackson both perform live in concert in Auckland at Mt Smart Stadium, New Zealand with friend, Trinity Brooke, I think Blanket would rock, following in the footsteps of the family, in a Hobbit film shot in 3D and Middle Earth. Imagine that! A real Jackson Hobbit too. Perfect!

Enjoy these images, from Blanket’s Estates’ one page ad in the LA Times today. A paper that services a city and associated cities of 20 million people.

Commentary on what is the purpose of this rally?: Undoubtedly, the man of the moment award this weekend has got to go to both President Obama & also John Stewart. The latter held a rally where 200,000 plus attended uniting community (always a good move in an impersonal IT age), allowing people to scream and vent frustration (healthy for the lungs and emotional cathartic purposes) and get their picture taken at a ‘historic moment’ (an essential in a media age, & good for phone companies). I kid.

John’s closing in his own words in the clip above, sums it all up. He describes “a reflected Image of “US” through a fun house skewing mirror of the carnivalesque-producing media. He says it is a distorted. True, as it’s ratings driven Media/ Sales propelled based on sensationalism. Stuart being one of the best at the game, which is why he holds the microphone in this clip. 30-40 somethings of the U.S currently love Stuart’s news the best. What a guy!

In summation: Why when we go to war (a polarizing matter) and all politicians love raising debate through intersecting two totally opposing views–to give a feeling of ‘change’, ‘progress’, ‘leadership’–as it gets leaders noticed, when they referee such debate –do we then act surprised when people manipulated by these political and media antics –lose a sense of peace and sanity.

It’s a bit rich. But I’m glad everyone at the rally felt happy about attending that’s awesome. Everyone who attended the Halloween rally? last night in West Hollywood, got exactly the same benefits from it, without political orchestration or interference or a noble man of TV Talk’s verbage either –cementing his own ratings, for further down the track of his career.

Gosh — I need another cup of coffee. That was harsh! Good to see the American people unite though. Together Everyone Achieve More– talk?

Seriously though – we live in an age, where a President must partner with a trusted person who has a platform, because us people are so easily distracted by social media, how else does a leader get their nation’s attention. So Obama-Stuart are a good combo, to give messages to the people.

On that note lets go, New Zealand–LOUDER! :)

[This image Sir Richard Taylor, Oscar Winner, at that Hobbit Rally, t'other side of world--doing what Jon Stewart was doing too, uniting hearts and community--for a future project coming up. We know what Sir Richard's is (Hobbit films in 3D)--I wonder what Stuart's is that he's been assigned. All eyes on Jon as well as Hobbits then. Rallies. Gotta love 'em. They're US.

Here's Israeli artist Ofra Haza & some good MC 80's blokes:  As critics say, they don't know what Stewart's rally was about, (it was a Seinfeld episode, done live en mass--a "buncha nothing"), this song can help shed light. The captions in the video clip are what Stewart's rally could be about, defining what to turn up the volume. Things like color, diversity, tolerance, peaceful ways forward, artistic authentic expression being shared equally and cross-culturally--while still getting loud for fun. I was 16 dancing to this song with friends. It's kinda jurassic. Still a goodie though. Lol! My point is--when at the place where all these sites can cross-over freely (in equal give and take opportunities) is where love can be found operating between people. That's still what the world wants. Can a government love us? Or be love teachers? Most governments in the world probably won't. But a good one can, will and does.

The governments that do, will rule the world. Love meets in the middle. Like Middle Ground or Middle Earth where two parties meet.  Starting with loving the earth, is a good start. People-care goes hand-in-hand with this thinking of earth-care.  There's work to be done. Traditionally family, Church, neighborhood, community--teach these values. We must never forget that. It's the government's to fix the economy and grow it, and then when that's done, philosophy about what love is, can be - should happen after that. There are more people qualified to define what love is, than many politicians spending 60 hours a week in a system that is often worn of love. A politicians desire to have love, tolerance, acceptance is an acknowlegement of the deficit in the political system they are married to, politically and spend all the time in. It's not necessarily what the people think, with different lives outside the political system. I think love ambassadors should be that, politicians politicians. Then cross-over, when all jobs are done.  We have government, wanting more love--from the people (worship almost) in a way that needs to be checked. Fix the economy, than praise of the people follows. Alright, these are my thoughts. In the meantime, pump up the volume on "big hearted films" or "big hearted community-shared art" and stuff like that. Fun!

JOHN KEY SUBSTANTIATES WELLYWOOD AS HOBBITSVILLE 3D COUNTRY AND A SUPPORTIVE TWIN CITY OF HOLLYWOOD’S 3D CINEMA MASTERY AND GREEN FILM LOCATIONS

Prime Minister John Key (L) is no stranger at dealing with key leaders in key areas and markets of the world.

Quote of the Year: “It was commercial reality. We did the business.”–John Key on bending Hobbit Law, to Warner Brothers recognition, of Sir Peter Jackson and Sir Richard Taylor‘s skills and preference to film The Hobbit 3D film in New Zealand.

New Zealand’s number one man, John Key shines in Hollywood today, with the announcement that New Zealand will restructure law, and contribute monetarily to help facilitate Sir Peter Jackson directed, The Hobbit films 3D filming and production in Middle Earth. This sends a clear message to Bollywood, Hollywood, Europe and Asia, that New Zealand is 3D film production fit for the 2010′s and beyond. Middle Earth is also the home of James Cameron‘s Avatar‘s 3D effects, filming and creation.

Via New York Times, Mr Key says: “I’m delighted we have achieved this result. Making the two movies here will not only safeguard work for thousands of New Zealanders, but will also allow us to follow the success of the Lord of the Rings trilogy in once again promoting New Zealand on the world stage,” Mr. Key said. Video of speech can he found here.

“The industrial issues that have arisen in the past several weeks have highlighted a significant set of concerns for the way in which the international film industry operates here in New Zealand. We will be moving to ensure that New Zealand law in this area is settled to give film producers like Warner Brothers the confidence they need to produce their movies in New Zealand.

To structure the right deal to keep The Hobbit in New Zealand, new legislation is being introduced Thursday to clarify the difference between an employee and a contractor. The change in law would affect only the film industry.

Aotearoa/ New Zealand’s Prime Minister, Mr. Key said that the green paradise nation would offset $10 million of Warner’s marketing costs as the government agreed to a joint venture with the studio.

Mr Key also threw in an additional tax rebate for big budget films made in the country, making production companies now eligible for up to $7.5 million extra per picture–based on box office sales. New Zealand currently offers a 15 % rebate on money spent on major movies being produced within this paradise nation’s shores.

The UK Guardian reports that, had not Warner Bros and the New Zealand government come to an agreement, “Economists had said the loss of the production could cost the country’s film industry as much as $1.5bn and damage it in the long term.” Mr Keys also said via The Guardian, “”Making the movies here will not only safeguard work for thousands of New Zealanders.”" A much welcomed break for New Zealand’s economy struggling with one of the highest E.E.C debts, currently. The news was much welcomed.

Although it is not know if any Maori and Polynesian actors have been cast in the film in key roles to date, the Guardian reports: “The Office star Martin Freeman set to portray the title character, Bilbo Baggins – a homely Hobbit who in Tolkien’s tale is bamboozled into joining a thrilling adventure by a wizard named Gandalf. Richard Armitage, of BBC TV series Spooks, will play the role of Thorin Oakenshield, the leader of the dwarves.”

Good stuff. What a day for Hobbit lovers of Hobbitsville entertainment. And not a bad couple of days work either from Prime Minister Keys in his role of Minister of Tourism too. That deserves a beer or three in Hobbit fashion. Nice teamwork for the Prime Minister, Warner Bros, and our two Sirs who create Hobbits and a film industry working for and in tandem while reflecting back to Hollywood, from the other side of the world in New Zealand. Teamwork and mastery of a win-win relationship. Super heroes are being made in New Zealand in cinema texts and 3D cinema –for the world. Let’s go China and 3D action Chinese films in NZ.

This report gleaned from an original report penned byJohnathan Hutchinson, Michael Cieply and Colin Peacock. [Image above: Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao (R) meets with New Zealand's Prime Minister John Key at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing China's capitol, on July 7, 2010. Xinhua &Rao Aimin photo. New Zealand also grew diplomatic relations in Seoul Korea today, Michael Woodhouse Mp appears on day one in Seoul where he has toured Gyeonbok Palace. Does Korea have any 3 D films they may need made and told in Middle Earth too, one might ask? NZ is a busy Asian-Friendly and Hollywood friendly filmmaking nation. And on that note, let's go Bollywood in NZ locations, coming at ya in 3D cinema. Namaste! Haere Mai!]

THOUSANDS ATTEND A HOBBITS 3D FILMS CASTING AND ACTOR’S EQUITY RALLY IN WELLINGTON NEW ZEALAND

Sir Richard leads the charge as thousands assemble in New Zealand’s capitol of Middle Eearth, Wellington, Wellywood of Poneke today.

These key points depict the saga over casting of actors, and their working conditions and union terms, the purpose of this rally.

New Zealand Herald brings us the well structured bones of this report: Sir Peter Jackson is opposed to an Australian union seeking to intervene and thwart plans of The Hobbit to be filmed in New Zealand locations.

“Keep The Hobbit in New Zealand” rallies (lol!) taking place in Middle Earth, saw a statement being read out, asserting New Zealand’s independence with New Zealand guilds being equipped to sort actor’s conditions out.

In patriotic talk, that exemplifies Jackson’s body of work in cinema (watch the mocumentary drama Forgotten Silver where Jackson, rewrites Hollywood history and the development of celluloid and film, as if it all eventuated in New Zealand, to get my drift), Sir Peter says with pride:

“Intervention by Australian-based union Media, Entertainment & Arts Alliance (MEAA) risks tearing apart “the great big heart that beats inside all our films”.” Love it. Lol!

KEY 3D CINEMA PARADIGM SHIFT – CASTING MAORI AND POLYNESIAN TEENAGED ACTION STARS IN 3D, 2010′s

Hollywood, Calif– to [Hobbitsville, Middle Earth], Wellywood a Poneke today. A message on Wellywood casting.

One headline to grow the film industry globally: KEY 3D CINEMA PARADIGM SHIFT – MAORI AND POLYNESIAN TEENAGED ACTION STARS IN 3D, 2010′s

Why not?!

Image of Taylor Lautner of Hudsonville (Ottawa and Potawatomi Native American Indian tribes, descendant) 18, earns more than US$8 million a film in Hollywood. That’s not including his merchandising of his mixed American-indigenous image.

A Native [American Indian] teen in Hollywood. He has yet to appear in 3D cinema texts.

I present Taylor today as food for thought for Maori and Polynesian action stars, who are Hollywood worthy as entertainers also. Remembering that Maori have practiced Mau Rakau martial arts for centuries in Middle Earth, Aotearoa/ New Zealand. We have this history for 3D cinema’s authenticity as Art and Entertainment texts of Hollywood and Wellywood worthy cultural significance.

This thought being presented in Hollywood today for the land of Hobbits and their Oscar-holding creators and auteurs of Middle Earth to mull over. Namely Sir Peter Jackson and Sir Richard Taylor with casting lenses of wisdom and foresight worn in New Zealand, to grow existing and new talent and film markets from New Zealand shores showcasing all of New Zealand’s diverse potential in film growth to our economy. Courage to develop new Kiwi action stars, who have the potential to develop new action film genres that appeal to Asian markets.

Why can’t Polynesian and Maori Kiwi kids, be a vital part of Young Hollywood pop cultural texts, icons, symbols generation, and leadership too?
