A HOST OF SPORTS GAME BREAKERS – FOR RUGBY WORLD CUP, THE HOTTEST SPORTS EVENT 2011

Guess what? Dudes who poke their tongues out on the football field and do the Maori haka are creative enough to be called “game breakers” by leading sports commentators of the sporting code. Not bad! These lads pictured via Getty Images are creative and tough to evolve and break the game open at new sporting levels of play.

Writes the All Blacks Website’s Sports News Section: “Even considering personal preferences and allegiance, the makeup of the best team of the season past will have a heavy tinge of Black, reflecting a test calendar where Richie McCaw and his men won 13 of 14 tests. Rugby sites and various pundits from around the world have compiled their best team of the year.

Rugby sites and various pundits from around the world have compiled their best team of the year. Planet Rugby selected no less than eleven All Blacks in their starting XV, whilst rugby365 put seven New Zealanders in their selection. Rugbyheaven of Sydney Morning Herald in Australia selected ten All Blacks, while even Green and Gold Rugby, a notoriously pro-Australian rugby site, put eight kiwis in their run out team.

What is notable is that it is considered necessary to have multiple world class players in a team to have any hope of winning a World Cup. Not one or two players, but a host of game breakers who can change a test with a certain play.”

Looks like the World Cup is shaping up to be quite the hot sports event of the world. Believe me, rugby football is so much fun. Hollywood media conglomerate, Universal/ Comcast are gearing to broadcast and broker the Rugby World Cup sporting football coverage into the US next year. Should be hot to watch either on the telly but particular in person, at the event. Rugby culture and its supporters are crazy, wild, fun. You really have to sit in a live rugby match to feel the made love. It’s the best sporting buzz in the world. That and Super Bowl and Wimbledon finals as well as Soccer World Cup. Top sports entertainment live.

A note to all rugby football players worldwide. Americans love big toothy smiles. Everyone here puts white caps on theirs, especially Hollywood stars and sports stars to produce that winning smile for a camera’s close up. Now would be a really good time for leading cosmetic dentists in every rugby football nation to step forward as corporate sponsors perhaps. Just a suggestion mind.”

Oh wait… those were their films. Wicked: The Musical. Oh shoot… that’s their big Broadway Musical foray show. Their TV Shows are: Keeping Up with the KardashianKourtney & Khloé KardashiansFashion Police and The Big Picture to name a few of Universal’s most popular TV shows.

KEO SPORTS WEBSITE, BIG BEASTS OF THE GAME AND SOUTH AFRICA’S RUGBY NEWS COVERAGE

Rugby football news coverage in South Africa today doesn’t get much better than Keo.Co.Za. Here’s the latest scoop on what’s happening with The Boks. Already I’m liking Keo. A sports website that’s quite blunt.

‘The Springboks failed to make any progress on their end-of-year tour. Is Victor Matfield too conservative to be Bok captain? The All Blacks capped off an outstanding 2010 with their third Grand Slam in five years. The Wallabies were frustratingly inconsistent on their end-of-year tour. If England are to seriously challenge for the World Cup, they will have to stand up to the big beasts of the game. Behind the swagger lies a secret diary that is driving England wing Chris Ashton to new heights.’

Just some of the newsy stories on Keo’s sports news agenda today. Kia Ora South Africa in the Hollywood Horiwood Haus. Haere mai – Welcome.

WILL CAMERON SHEPHERD OF THE WALLABIES RISE ABOVE INJURY FOR RUGBY WORLD CUP 2011?

Richard Graham the solid rugby football coach of The Western Force, Australia has backed Cameron Shepherd to return to his blistering best. Graham claims ‘the utility back has finally overcome a litany of injuries that threatened to derail his Super Rugby career.

Shepherd who was born in England but grew up in Sydney hasn’t missed a beat during the Force’s gruelling pre-season campaign, returning strongly from a hamstring complaint that kept him out of the recent Qantas Wallabies tour of Europe.

Graham believed Shepherd, who has suffered numerous setbacks since breaking his left fibula in eight places in 2007, would return to top form next season.

“He’s probably in the best condition he’s been in for a number of years,” Graham said at training on Wednesday.’

Fingers crossed then for Cameron Shepherd’s Rugby World Cup sports gladiatorial hopes for Australia next year. Hopefully Shepherd can stay in the clear from injury to compete at the world’s top sporting level.

Comcast/ Universal the Media conglomerate that broadcasts Keeping Up With The Kardashians and The Chelsea Handler Show here in the USA, will be broadcasting The Wallabies live across America in 2011 as new sporting entertainment via Hollywood, when the action goes down in New Zealand at The Rugby World Cup. To get your tickets this Christmas for you and to organize the mates, zip on over here to secure.

BATHS BUTCH JAMES EYES UP DEFENDING RUGBY’S WORLD CUP FOR SOUTH AFRICA 2011

Say it isn’t true? An international footballer is thinking of turning down lucrative sporting contract monies to play rugby football for his own home nation? This appears to be the case with Butch James.

RUGBY NEWS: ‘Bath first five eighth Butch James has confirmed he will leave Bath and the Aviva Premiership to return home to South Africa and push his claims for a World Cup berth.

James has been with Bath for the last four seasons, and earlier this year he and the club had denied that he would return home.

However the 31-year-old will likely leave with two years left on his contract, and while Bath would prefer him to stay at the club, they have stated they will not stand in the way of their star number ten.

It is unknown which South African side will snap him up.’ If he is snapped by the Springboks rugby team, here in America Universal/ Comcast will telecast Butch James in The Rugby World Cup live across America for our entertainment. Stay tuned for that. Even better jump on a plane and experience The Cup sporting event go down live. Too much fun.

KIERAN READ IS SPORTS HOT AND ALL BLACKS SPORTS CAPTAIN RICHIE McCAW SAYS ENJOYMENT IS KEY, PLAYING RUGBY FOOTBALL INTERNATIONALLY

Rugby Football News today: “All Blacks captain Richie McCaw has given further indication that he will remain in New Zealand beyond the 2011 Rugby World Cup, meaning that arguably the world’s most influential player will buck what is expected to be a heavy player exodus from the Southern Hemisphere to the North.

The expected player movement, fuelled by the wealthy French and English clubs, has already been linked to numerous players, with All Blacks, Wallabies and Springboks all mentioned in European media recently as presidents and coaches from Top 14 and Aviva Premiership sides met with high profile stars.”

He adds: ”I’m having a really good think about it and I’ve always said enjoyment is the key,” said McCaw to the Sunday Star Times.

Someone likes his local fame a lot I think. :)

I’m all for new talent development coming right on through, personally as rugby culture and the game evolves at a top level. McCaw is currently the world’s no.1 ranked player of the sport although currently not the player of the year in New Zealand. That title belongs to another good sports person. Oh, that’s right, Kieran Read is that player. Both Read and McCaw play rugby football in the same local sports team The Canterbury Crusaders as well. Tight sporting bros.

Kieran Reed the player who plays rugby football in the no.8 position in McCaw’s team is pictured below. Kieran is in the running to be the All Blacks team’s next captain amongst other contenders. Meanwhile in the rugby 7′s tournament, New Zealand is seeded second, behind Samoa and Fiji as third favorites to win the 7′s series. Exciting stuff ahead in the sporting world.

Here in the USA, Universal and Comcast are gearing up to broadcast the Rugby World Cup 2011 nationwide across the US. Universal owns E! Entertainment Network among other key American media properties of American Entertainment. 2011 is looking good with new sports entertainment evolving in the US. Like the look of that.

It’s a safe bet to say that “Rugby, Kieran Read and Rugby Football” are going to be key trending terms in Hollywood and America next year. Woot! Let’s go people.

KIERAN READ IS NEW ZEALAND’S no.1 RUGBY FOOTBALL SPORTSPERSON OF THE YEAR 2010

When it comes down to sporting gladiators, you always look at a rugby football field to discover the true essence of sportspersonship; that being” skill, athleticism, fitness, tenacity, courage, creative play, stamina, making it count on the score board and in the case of rugby football–that no.1 trait TEAMWORK. Together Everyone Achieves More.

Here’s a bit of exciting news with all of those features on display with the news that Kieran Read, 25, has been listed as New Zealand’s top rugby football player this year.

The New Zealand Herald reports: ‘Barnstorming No 8 Kieran Read picked up the Kel Tremain Memorial Trophy for player of the year at the New Zealand Rugby Awards. The 25-year-old was outstanding for the All Blacks as they went through the June internationals and Tri-Nations unbeaten, before playing a prominent role in the Grand Slam. The only blight on his season was the knee ligament damage that forced him from the field early in the year’s final test against Wales. Read has been earmarked as a future All Black captain and last night he edged the incumbent skipper and 50-test lock Brad Thorn for the big prize.’

The Black Ferns, (Kiwis womens rugby football team) scored big for the Team of the Year trophy.

MSN news adds: ‘The New Zealand Rugby Union described Read as “a rock at the back of the scrum” for the All Blacks and his Super 14 team, the Canberbury Crusaders. Reid received the award at a function in Auckland on Thursday night, when Auckland Blues halfback Alby Mathewson was named Super 14 player of the year.’

Congrats to all winners. Especially Kieran Read who plays in the no.8 position. His name is that of a sixth century saint and it means “black” and is of Irish and Gaelic origin. How apt to be in the running as a future captain of the All Blacks team of NZ then. Destiny shines.

RICHIE McCAW HAS NO PLANS TO RETIRE FROM TOP LEVEL RUGBY FOOTBALL YET

Like a classic sprig mark graze to the head, rugby football sports man, Richie McCaw talks about–well, himself of course:

“I’m pretty keen to carry on for a bit longer,” says world renowned rugby football player Richie McCaw. “Where, I don’t know – I haven’t made a decision where I’m going to be. I’m not 30, yet, so hopefully I’ve got a couple of years left. It will be my last World Cup [2011 in New Zealand], I’d say. I think three will be enough – I’ll be 34 in 2015.”

TOP COACH GRAHAM HENRY AND SOUTH AFRICA’S RUGBY FOOTBALL BEST SPORTS AWARDS NEWS

[Richie McCaw one of Graham Henry's players for the New Zealand All Blacks Rugby Football team always shines with football in hand. Image courtesy of Getty Images]

SOUTH AFRICA SPORTS NEWS: “New Zealand’s impact on the rugby year has been reflected from an unlikely South African source. The influential rugby website keo.co.za has given New Zealand top honors in its annual sports awards.

Graham Henry was awarded the coach of the year, the All Blacks scooped the team of the year, Richie McCaw was the player of the year and Sonny Bill Williams picked up a ‘Living up to the Hype’ award. That’s too awesomery.

Henry was favored over John Plumtree for his work with the Sharks in winning the Currie Cup and Frans Ludeke for his second Super 14 trophy with The Bulls.

“Internationally, there was only one coach in 2010. Graham Henry will be disappointed with the loss to Australia in Hong Kong, a defeat that halted the All Blacks’ march towards the world record for the most consecutive Test wins. On the other hand, the All Blacks went undefeated in the Tri Nations and cruised to yet another Grand Slam,” the website said.

The All Blacks were confirmed by the judges as the trend setters of world rugby. Of course. They’re hosting the World Cup 2010 so that’s like calling a rugby football a rugby football. Figures really.

“Some suggest that they’ve peaked, but the All Blacks have struck an intimidating balance between running, kicking and mustering the physicality needed to quell traditional powerhouses like South Africa and England,” they said.

While acknowledging that Port Elizabeth born, Schalk Burger was the South African player of the year, the judges lamented that he wasn’t even the second-best Test flanker in 2010. That person was David Pocock, but even he was not close to the judges’ winner McCaw.

“In a year where a fetcher’s prominence was supposedly limited, McCaw retained his game-swinging penchant for dominating the breakdowns. As long as he’s fit the All Blacks’ threat is enhanced.” (nb: Hey Fluffy! As much jogging as posing then.)

CASSIUS CLAY’S “IN YOUR FACE TEE SHIRT” FOR BASKETBALL GAMES AND RUGBY FOOTBALL TRAINING SESSIONS

Looking after Hollywood’s future box office stars, with unique stories for the world, for California economy’s interests is what this blog post is about. Keeping such stars alive, could prove to be a challenge–hence this post.

Wow! Cassius Clay‘s In Your Face official tee shirt, in military khaki green issue, would make a great tee shirt to wear to basketball hoop games on the local block of Australia with mates or at rugby football, rugby league matches and Aussie rules football practice too each week.

I discovered it, on this post about innocent Australian young fella Daniel Assange of Melbourne. Go here to buy it for $19..99 to impress your friends and family, and make your hood a little bit more colorful and fun–like how a community of sporting champions, roll and celebrate cool people.

Daniel’s precious life and youthful potential is currently being threatened and bullied when he’s an innocent Australian young person of the world. Shocking stuff! This tee shirt is very relevant in New Zealand and Australia right at this second as well as All-ways Being relevant in American hoods and South Africa hoods too equally any day of the year. It’s a symbol of greatness and fairness, apparently.

Corey Flynn NewsDespite suffering a hamstring strain at training yesterday All Blacks hooker Corey Flynn remains upbeat for start against England.

All Blacks hooker Corey Flynn is remaining upbeat despite another injury setback. Flynn picked up a hamstring strain late in yesterday’s session, putting his involvement in this weekend’s test against England at Twickenham in doubt.

All Blacks assistant coach Wayne Smith says Flynn is disappointed, but staying positive. Smith says at least it is not another broken arm, so it is not going to end his tour. Waikato hooker Aled de Malmanche has joined the All Blacks as cover, having to cut short his surfing holiday in Bali.

While he was part of the All Blacks squad this year, de Malmanche managed just seven minutes of game time. Smith says that is no reflection on de Malmanche’s ability, rather they have typically played their hookers through the whole 80 minutes for consistency sake.

Smith says Aled de Malmanche was their clear next choice behind Andrew Hore and Corey Flynn.

SOME CROWDED HOUSE AND NELSEN MANDELA – DON’T DREAM IT’S OVER

Let there be work, bread, water and salt for all.–Nelsen Mandela

Music: Crowded House, Don’t Dream It’s Over

Hollywood rugby pop art: All rugby communities know it’s a long way to that blasted try line. Stay close to each other, create play and reach forward together for a dream. The proven fortitude and new flexibility of teamwork is always the dream.

Artwork: The Key & Bars by Nelsen Mandela

Limited edition lithograph and hand cast numbered metal key

Nelson Mandela is the world’s greatest living statesman and nobel prize winner. He is a symbol of the struggle against apartheid and has now turned his hand to art. This stunning and unique piece symbolises the story of his time spent in prison on Robben Island.

The Key and Bars contains two powerful icons of the 28 years of Nelson Mandela’s imprisonment. His fingers have slowly and deliberately been drawn down the page to recreate the bars of his cell. The Key to his cell has been hand-cast into an edition of just 3000, each numbered and accompany this very powerful edition.

This superb item is personally signed by Nelson Mandela and is supplied framed and glazed, measuring an impressive 23” by 17”.

It is supplied with full certification from the Mandela Foundation.

In the 29th year after a prison of pain, Nelsen Mandela walked to freedom, and the whole world went with him in that place. The irony is, that without pain’s temporal confinement, we don’t know what freedom is. After pain, we then know. That is grief’s gift in the humanness of our shared recovery.

Major changes are underway at Universal Studio. New management has been appointed in a restructuring shake up of NBC, Comcast and Universal. Here’s the much talked about letter from Steve Burke today:

For nearly a year, we have worked hard to identify people from NBC Universal, Comcast and outside the two companies to form our new leadership team when the deal closes. Our goal has been to find people who have the skill sets we need to succeed and who reflect the values that will be the hallmark of NBC Universal, including teamwork, integrity, creativity and a commitment to treating people the right way.

We have also been very focused on putting in place the best possible organizational structure. To that end, we have created some new positions, changed the scope of others, and shifted some reporting assignments. We think we’ve developed a structure that organizes the company in the smartest way possible. (more…)
