Weight and body image is something, that like any 12 year old girl growing up in image obsessed America, Jessica Simpson has been aware of.
Simpson tells Glamour Magazine as their September cover girl:
“No matter how much money you spend to make yourself beautiful, with all the products, the diets, the plastic surgery; in the end, women need to fall in love with themselves and realize they’re beautifully and wonderfully made. There is no ‘perfect’ you.”
A powerful statement for all women from Jessica Simpson. We forget, that this girl (when not get dumped by footballer boyfriends or being criticized for any weight gain) is also an amazing singer. I like her take on beauty and being comfortable in one’s own skin. How refreshing!
Jessica Simpson has stipulated that when her VH1 reality TV series, Price of Pretty, begins filming next week, that she wants her own team of stylists to be working on the production.
This is normal for any star going into a shoot. But Jess is asking for $25,000 a day for her stylist. Wow! Jess looks good jogging, so what’s her beef with looking so good? At least she looks after her people, and makes sure they get well looked after!
It’s also good PR for her show. Pretty can cost a lot of money. Nice press already… on the title of her show.
It appears that after being dumped by Tony Romo, Jess needs her buddy, stylist Ken Paves around to make her feel better.
While Mariah Carey, Lil Wayne and Diddy’s new album release dates have been pushed back, Clive Davis is moving Whitney Houston’s I Look To You, comeback album forward by a day. Nice work Whitney Houston! She’s on a comeback roll!
For what she’s gifted the world in music, we love this woman! Here’s 10 Hot Posts Right Now on Horiwood.Com. Enjoy!
Australian tabloids use Jess as tabloid fodder for every girl in their twenties who has ever been single! In the wake of Simpson’s recent split with footballer Tony Romo, Australia’s New Weekly magazine weighs into Jessica Simpson.
Single ladies, you’re all good! Simpson’s Price of Pretty TV series, that explores the beauty myths imposed on women via the media, fashion and beauty industries, is going to be pretty raw and real. You know it!
Hey Australia… be kind! :) New Weekly Magazine, is perhaps the best tabloid Down Under, so this is a shock from them. Manners people … are always good… if you can help it! To imply that Jessica is “fat” and “lonely”… is to imply that she’s not slim enough to be in a relationship. This kind of thinking breeds anorexia heaven with women all over Australia! Not cool.
It really is time for Jess to step up and bring her new show, that’s for sure!
Jessica Simpson got dumped by boyfriend Tony Romo. Sad.
She’s said to be heartbroken. Kendra Wilkinson can marry her football heartthrob, while it looks like Jess won’t get to marry hers.
I think Jessica Simpson, should rename her new reality TV show (The Price of Pretty) to the price of football… and investigate cheer leaders and footballers wives, to see what they go through looking pretty for their footballer beaus.
She’s a football widow, and she’s not even 30. Geez Tony!
