THE HORIWOOD TOP TEN – SUN 4-11.2010
Here’s how you voted your entertainment news in Hollywood today, but first we stop to remember a Polish President, taken from the world at 60: “President Lech Kaczynski and his wife First Lady Maria Kacynski, were mourned by tens of thousands of Poles softly singing the national anthem that carried them to the presidential palace after it was returned from Russia’s Smolensk airport, the site of the fatal plane crash that took 96 lives.
The coffin bearing the president’s remains were met first by his daughter Marta. She knelt before it, her forehead resting on the coffin. She was followed by Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the former prime minister, and the president’s twin brother. He, too, knelt and pressed his head against the flag-draped coffin before rising slowly and crossing himself.
Standing sentinel were four Polish troopers bearing sabers. The coffin was placed aboard a Mercedes-Benz hearse and slowly traveled several miles to the palace, watched by thousands of weeping Poles.” So sad.
I think Aerosmith‘s American ballad pop anthem Don’t Want To Miss A Thing is an appropriate cultural expression from The City of Angels as we share worldwide with Poland in their tragic great loss. God Bless Poland. Here’s your news today.

TRAGIC: POLAND PLANE CRASH TAKES PRESIDENT AND 96 LEADERS LIVES
My heart goes out to Poland today as the nation mourns in a state of shock at the tragic loss of their President and national leaders. How devastating. There are no words to describe this loss.
“SMOLENSK, Russia — An aging Russian airliner carrying Polish President Lech Kaczynski and members of his country’s military, political and church elites crashed in thick fog Saturday as it took them to a ceremony marking the 70th anniversary of the slaughter of thousands of Polish military officers by Soviet secret police.”
Much love going out from West Hollywood to the families of all of the lives lost and to the people of Poland who find themselves leaderless overnight. Out of your tragedy may strength, courage, hope arise for the strong future of Poland. We–the World– all grieve with you at this time. God bless you all.

MEGAN FOX WORKS IT FOR CKM MAGAZINE POLAND
I guess you have to start somehow, as Georgio Armani‘s latest muse, Megan Fox proves for CKM Magazine of Poland, today in her bikini.
Hollywood fame offers a harsh life forward, there’s so many competing for a piece of it, but the best get through. Go Megan Fox! You would have thought, Georgio Armani would have yanked this cover! But I guess this cover of his Emporio Armani model for 2010 is good PR for him in Poland, so he didn’t.
I’m reminded of the words of Angelina Jolie, who once famously said, “fashion has such a slimy element attached to it.” (Jolie meant the wheeling and the dealing part to it). I think Angelina is right. But go Megan Fox anyway!
