When it comes to dancing in their high heels, Lady Gaga is still on trainer wheels compared to Beyonce Knowles although Gaga can play the piano and is musically talented. The hibiscus, all colors and varieties, was the official Territorial Flower, adopted in the early 1920s. At statehood in 1959, the first state legislature adopted many of Hawaii’s symbols as part of the Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS, state laws). It wasn’t until 1988, however, that the yellow hibiscus (pua aloalo) which is native to the islands was selected to represent Hawaii.

Speaking in her best Madonna-affected British accent still, the performance artist Lady Gaga had made some critical changes. Instead of her trademark Blonde Minnie Mouse hair bow, (a tactic Gaga uses in America to capture the Disney Mouse House youth audience’s attention off the Miley Cyrus and High School Musical tribe); Lady Gaga was working her inner Mary Popins to capture the British audience instead.

I love the way Stefani Germanotta’s eyelashes grow out and pertrude from underneath the fringe of her her fake blonde hair. It’s amazing we can see any Gaga at all. But yes, thankfully we can.
