This year and next Miley Cyrus is doing 2nd generation Hollywood or show biz families as her celebrity theme and contribution to the fame game.
When she’s not on set eating cupcakes with Kelly Osbourne, Smilers latest time passing activity, is to create her own fun. She turns to The Smith family of Bel Air for kicks. In particular: “sources on set of her film So Undercover … say Miley has been passing the time between takes constantly singing Whip My Hair by young Willow Smith. Smilers is even busting out the dance moves that go with the song too.
All this while her folks are going through a painful divorce and Smilers works right up until Christmas. What a Hollywood trooper in New Orleans!

Kelly Osbourne is doing way too much for her American co-stars of So Undercover today from New Orleans. The straight up Pommy starlet took to her Twitter (where else, other than Facebook?) to put straight a few rumors about how responsible Miley Cyrus is as a ‘not-really-a-child’ person whose still growing up in some ways. DISNEY TURNS TO BRITNEY SPEARS AND JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE TO MENTOR CHILD STARS
True fact – America produces the most fun teenage experience in the world that is media savvy. In particular a vision of the teen of California. Creating such pictures of California youth is a big global industry industry the world loves.
This year, Selena Gomez was the third most popular name in entertainment in the US. Miley Cyrus no.7. What both stars have in common is that they were spun concurrently via Disney’s child-star making factory. Selena in direct response to Miley’s star phenomenon no one quite expected to occur as evidently as it did.
The U.K Daily News reports that Disney has appealed to Britney Spears & Justin Timberlake to help mentor its child stars and ex-stars–in sharing about making the transitions as famous kids to adults.
Good luck with that! There’s not really a “From fame to real life” manual–it’s up to every individual to navigate that for themselves–but I like the sentiment of mentoring. Sounds wise. The weird thing about Disney is that child actors aren’t really thought about while they make the lucrative bucks for Disney–their problems begins when the child star realizes how much Disney (or the world of Entertainment) has taken from their young lives in the fame trade-off. Is Disney doing damage control here? Looks like it.
However, Disney is the surest way to create child stars from America perceived to be credible in the world. Such is the enduring legacy of Walt Disney as a star brand.

MILA KUNIS STRIKES HER STAR AGAINST MILEY CYRUS’ NAME FOR A HOLLYWOOD SPARK
While Mila Kunis (That 70′s Show & Black Swan) was appearing on Lopez Tonight, she let slip that she did not think that Miley Cyrus‘ ‘bong video footage’ on the ex-Disney teens 18th birthday had anything to do with Salvia.
Says Kunis: “She was smoking some weed! Come on, now; that was not no legal [substance]!”
Scandalous! Why would a fully grown woman want to go challenging a Californian teen’s word on what she says she was doing on her 18th birthday? It makes it appear that Hollywood’s emerging lights are being led by the global popularity of California’s teens. Cyrus has yet to respond to Kunis’ allegation. Just as well Smilers is such a good girl, most of the time.
At least Kunis is not too proud to admit it, as she heats up her Hollywood star against Miley’s heading into publicity stakes for 2011. A smart move by Mila as she acknowledges Cyrus’ no.7 ranking in the world of all “Entertainment Names” requested online in the Western World this year. Heading into 2011 the young are leading the world. This one fact we know about who people trust the most in the world right now as entertainers. I guess they figure, the younger someone is, the less they’re likely to lie to other people. I find this trend fascinating. Where does this leave the existing ‘power set’ of the world? Leading in their own heads perhaps? Let’s hope not.

SALVIA SALES SKYROCKET WITH A MILEY CYRUS BONG SCANDEL
Because Miley Cyrus was photographed smoking salvia from a bong on her 18th birthday, Fox News is reporting there’s been a big hike in sales of the stuff.
Salvia is a member of the mint family. It can be rolled and smoked like a cigarette, chewed, or smoked in a pipe or bong, and produces an intense high akin to marijuana and LCD.
Apparently people who sell salvia in the States that have not banned the herb as illegal, claim that no one has been asking for salvia by name over the counter–they’ve been saying, “hey can we have that stuff Miley was smoking.”
I have to remember Miley is 18 now, and Willow Smith (the new Hannah Montana) is rocking candy cane braids in performances–so what is an ex-Mouse House girl supposed to do–other than the Britney Spears route of pop star fame? Do her own version of mint too? Looks like it.

“Miley Cyrus’ father Billy Ray Cyrus has expressed his disappointment with her for being seen smoking a legal high.
The ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ hitmaker – who is currently divorcing wife Tish – took to twitter following the video of 18-year-old Miley smoking salvia from a bong.
He wrote: “Sorry guys. I had no idea. Just saw this stuff for the first time myself. I’m so sad. There is so much beyond my control right now.”
Anthony Adams – a former California State Assemblyman who previously tried to ban the drug in his state – believes salvia, which is legal in a number of U.S. states, can make people do “crazy” things and has blasted her for being irresponsible to her legions of young fans.
He said: “You do incredibly crazy things. Miley is a star and young kids are going to emulate her behaviour.”

‘My’ girl Miley‘s folks are separating. According to Access Hollywood: “Billy Ray filed for the divorce in Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences. He is asking for shared custody of the couple’s three minor children and an “equitable distribution of the marital estate.” Reports People, the star couple’s statement reads: “As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family. We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.”
In Hollywood showbiz families live under immense pressure to stay on top of their game. Billy Ray and Tish are going to give the Arquette-Cox split (and a gazillion other celeb-split couples like Arguilera-Bratman etc) a run for their fame and money with this news.
Tish and Billy Ray – a very solid team on many levels – are going to play ball. This will be inneresting, but this family exists to get their princess noticed and protect her empire. A pop diva in duress or angst over family loss, always sells records better. Miley somehow finds herself in this spot again. Sending love and prayers this family’s way.

This just in from Contact Music: Tim Winter, president of the Parents Television Council, insists the footage of Miley Cyrus Who Owns My Heart, music video sends the wrong message to Cyrus’ young fans.
He tells TMZ.com, “It is unfortunate that she would participate in such a sexualised video like this one.
“It sends messages to her fan base that are diametrically opposed to everything she has done up to this point. Miley built her fame and fortune entirely on the backs of young girls, and it saddens us that she seems so eager to distance herself from that fan base so rapidly.”
It’s not the first time the teen has courted controversy – she hit the headlines in May (10) after footage of her dancing provocatively in a night club surfaced on the internet.
And the singer/actress caused outrage in 2008 after posing in just a blanket for Vanity Fair magazine.

Meanwhile on the rugby field, Brad Thorn of the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team, is getting ready for Rugby World Cub 2011. If you can, get there. You know when you’ve arrived, when your teen slip ups, are imitated by grown adults–seeking to make a buck for corporate advertisers on television as ‘comedic actors.’
Is the zenith of America’s comedic actors to really go to drama school–to then grow up to play a teen? Okay then, read this story and watch this clip if you believe it is.
This is the case, with Miley Cyrus (18)’s life and SNL actors who don’t know what else to do except parody her.
Only in America. What ever happened to “teen bullying is not okay.” Lol! Or the topic of “predatorial jealousy of teens and young people’s success?” A parody is always a compliment in Hollywood, so let’s go with that lens on these idiots imitating Smilers.
Miley Cyrus is huge–look at these crazy kids trying to wrap themselves in her tinsel, to be entertaining! (Above). It’s even more surreal than Miley’s real-ness as a person, in person.
