Joke of the Century: The bank that is quite possibly, the worst bank in the world (Bank of America) has blocked Wikileaks payments. “This decision is based upon our reasonable belief that Wikileaks may be engaged in activities that are, among other things, inconsistent with our internal policies for processing payments,” the bank announced late on Friday.
Bank of America’s payments policies are normally like one dollar for you, and one half of your dollars for us–so this is fascinating news for most people who know this bank and how they roll. Perhaps it also has a lot to do with Wikileaks upcoming document leaks about this bank too.
Julian Assange uses ironic humor via his lawyers over ‘leaked’ rape allegation case, facts: “According to The Australian newspaper, Assange’s Swedish lawyer, Bjorn Hurtig, plans to lodge a formal complaint and demand that Swedish cops investigate how such sensitive material was leaked. ”I do not know who has given these documents to the media, but the purpose can only be one thing: trying to make Julian look bad,” the New York Daily News quoted Hurtig as saying. [Reggie Bush and Kim Kardashian made a lot of dough together once upon a time this year]
‘The pay is crap, the stiletto time is uber high for the lives of America’s top reality TV stars–but the endorsements and back handers to espouse a message and set a trend of pop culture for another celebrity, aren’t bad’–the Kardashian sister’s story this year as California’s reigning version of Charlie’s Angels TV entertainment.
Well, this is no surprise, Kim Kardashian is listed as the highest earning reality TV star of America this year. No one blurs reality and surreality quite like California. It’s what we do. The best.
Having a family focus and creating employment, Kim’s strategy as a star to make ‘family the big thing’ she’s about; has garnered Kim’s two sisters as top-earning reality TV stars too in a new year-end list of rankings, The Daily Beast said Monday.
$6 million in reported earnings is what the Daily Beast rank Kim on. She’s a cover girl, a sports and military locker room pin up star. One of the key stars of E!’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians Ryan Seacrest (really Kim) produced show, with a line of merchandising products ranging from timepieces to tennis shoes.
The beast reports Kim’s fortune is in-the-main amassed from the overall takings of the Dash Boutiques, a trendy chain of designer retail stores with locations in Los Angeles, Miami, and now Manhattan. A nice value add from Kim in steering information this way into he sisters collective brand power. (eg: spread your fame asap, and hedge your bets).
The Kardashian sisters, who have some of the best tabloid story line angles each week, just released a new book, Kardashian Konfidential, that has already sold 13,000 copies in its first week of release. Endorsement deals with Sephora and Bebe beauty brands are also their thing. (more…)
Kim Kardashian is loved by Microsoft as she really thinks like a Buffet or a Gates when it comes to making money and being an entrepreneur with IT. She is Bing.Com’s no. 1 trending topic because she chose to make FAMILY, the eclectic American star her own star served. For that decision, I personally admire this girl. She created a kingdom for her family and shares the leadership role with her fellow family stars. So smart.
As Kardashian revealed recently for W Magazine‘s special issue on the rise of Reality TV stars, Kim will strip naked to protect her kingdom. A touch of irony perhaps as in real life, Kardashian is a fashion clothing merchant. A paradox.
As a star brand she is on track to be America’s most trusted contender of a TV Talk Show Queen in the mode of Oprah Winfrey of the 2020′s as years to come of detoxification from America’s role cast as warlords of Western democracy and our Peace Keepers of The World will most probably require Kim to play this role in the “reflecting years.”
She is also on track to be a billionaire in her own right, through her collaboration with L.A power lawyer Robert Shapiro and their shoedazzle online marketing style supply company co-venture. If ever their company goes public Kardashian will be a billionaire overnight. Watch that space. She is California and America today–behind the transparent veil appearance of an ‘over-exposed?’ reality TV star.
She’s smarter than she is beautiful –a lethal witty combo. As a young American–her star template is one that can be emulated to grow the American economy. This girl does every day. Her heart is almost always in the right place for others–yet she’s single, a beauty queen too bright to make most men relax in her company. This only makes her more endearing to her audiences, somehow.
Bing.Com’s top ten TRENDing topics can be read as follows:
1. America’s A-Listed, accepted Middle Eastern (Armenian-American) face in war time–while soldiers are all paid to kill ‘the Arab men who are dangerous extreme terrorists.’ She is the unveiled face and the ‘Arabian looking’ healing tonic to a nation’s conscience, all unfortunately paying for an intense war engagement in Afghanistan, post Iraq. To obsess on Kim Kardashian is to take your mind off the Afghanistan war. She is the life-threatened soldiers no.1 pin up girl, of our times.
2. A woman wins an Oscar for a film about combatting racism in sport and community to believe in family and a kid’s dream, then in real life her husband mimics a Tiger Woods (poor man’s) harem show roll out (the tattooed version) and the shocking scandal ends in divorce while the newly single-mother adopts a New Orleans orphan as she’d always planned to.
3. America’s most respected golfer and most loved American by Asian nations outside of the US, in the year of China’s white metal tiger–unleashes a pussy wagon harem scandal, while being married to a gorgeous Swede twin, mother of his two children–who once was a Nanny, like Princess Diana was. Unwittingly the golfer becomes the perfect hate target diversion of the ‘disgusted and amused’ American people, while a new President successfully champions a dramatically increased war budget (80% increase on previous budget) through The House and The Senate in DC. His year of scandal was quite a story!
World politics clocks in as the hottest arena of them all today with our globally voted top ten entertainment, news and celebrity posts here in Hollywood. Here’s our top ten from today.

From this image we see a Palm Tree as a symbol of Peace. Whether a palm is found in California, throughout The South Pacific, in Israel or Iran provides a message for us all to ponder as a symbol.
A palm tree grows peacefully in earth’s soil, irrespective of how people draw up maps of territory. Its a very humble tree. It just grows. Its leaves offer shade in extreme heat conditions for people and camels alike. It always signifies that water is found nearby, water being a symbol of life that all growing things need to live. A palm tree’s fruit is eaten by people of Californian, people in Iran or Israel alike. A palm tree does not discriminate. It looks after people equally.
May leaders of the world (G20 Economies Summit leaders included) all have a movie date with Peace, in their hearts concerning the future direction of the world and showing mercy to others, not all that different from ourselves.
This is California’s story in the City of Angels. We are peace messengers in The City of Angels–just like a palm tree is. May the art of peace be the most glorified American art of all and bring forth its fruit in due season.
I think an emphasis on water systems watering people who don’t have it in the world with clean drinking water, would be an intelligent thing of G20 leaders to obsess on at this point in World History. With the existing wealth all G-20 Summit leaders nations have, let’s leak some water these nations way who are without.
That’s smart leadership. Instead of just “World Economy, War Economy,” as buzz words, let’s think “Water Economy” too for all people in the world. A war on lack for the least in the world is what’s needed. That’s true power, to think that way and shows respect for basic human rights in the world.

To love our enemies is where true love begins
Peace is like a harmonious river that always flows over the rocks and hate-hurled boulders of the human frailties and short-sighted misunderstandings of history’s wars–Horiwood 2010′s for World Peace
Two brothers of New Zealand ask one question in song. That question is very pertinent for all leaders of the civilized world today who claim to know what Peace is, when dishing out Peace Awards on a global stage.
How deep is your love?
Here’s Adeaze of New Zealand with that question with their performance as sung by brothers 9z and Viiz Tupa’i of Otara - South Auckland, in The Supercity of New Zealand.

GIBBS ST “ON” – WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY, ROBERT GIBBS ON “COMPROMISED DIPLOMACY” OVER WIKILEAKS DOCS IRAN SCANDAL
Reading very Catholic–this method of information distribution, I must say.
Here’s what the White House is reporting via the recent Wikileaks Docs political scandal that sheds much light on international leaders angst, frustration, fear?/ genuine neighborly concern? and anger with their problems and misunderstandings with Iran. I write this in California where many people from Iran live in Beverly Hills, Westwood etc as valued American residents and citizens. I must point out that Iran is not Iraq or Afghanistan, it is Ancient Persia.
Before you read on though, as this is an entertainment and celebrity news blog, click on this case of Gibbston Wine grown and cellared in Queenstown New Zealand that Beyonce was seen sipping on at lunch this weekend in Auckland The Supercity. Apparently the wine is a beauty. Alright, news continues:
According to Bloomberg, the White House fears Diplomacy has been compromised with the Wikileaks distributed secret information of speical documents gleaned from cables, to the world’s press for upcoming publication. Specifically Bloomberg reports:
“Nevertheless, these cables could compromise private discussions with foreign governments and opposition leaders,” according to the statement from the White House Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs. “When the substance of private conversations is printed on the front pages of newspapers across the world, it can deeply impact not only U.S. foreign policy interests, but those of our allies and friends.”
Republicans also condemned the release of the cables, with Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina stating on Fox News Sunday that “the people at WikiLeaks could have blood on their hands.” The top Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida, called the revelation of the documents “extremely irresponsible.”
The Pentagon’s Response to the leaks that escaped their management is: “The Pentagon announced today that it will take a “series of actions” to prevent future reoccurrences, such as developing procedures to monitor user behavior that is similar to steps taken by credit-card companies to detect fraud. The military will also conduct security oversight inspections at forward bases and remove the ability of classified computers to download information onto removable disks.”
Perhaps you’ll appreciate this case of wine then as a reading companion in the upcoming weeks as you follow the Wikileaks Docs, news stories about to hit the world via Spain, France, Germany, New York, The UK in the next few weeks.

If there are “no enemies in the world” except different reflections of fellow human beings–what is our need to create a new Hitler to unify a majority in a new world order. Or is there a Hitler already in the world? Iran has nuclear weapons. So does North Korea, China, USA, UK, France, India, Israel, Russia and Pakistan. These nations all admit to having nuclear weapons or components of them in their nations. That leads us to the next question: What makes Iran different to all of US (meaning the other nations with nuclear weapons). Hopefully the Wikileaks news coverage/ saga/ drama/ production etc will bring some mediation on this one question, otherwise let’s all go to the movies instead and not bother reading the upcoming news on this issue, if the media’s line of questioning isn’t taking this fair angle.
Truth is fair and it is always the role of foreign press (international media) to help politicians locate the center of truth with a plethora of voices on any issue. In the democratic process of truth, we always see ourselves when accusing anyone else, of anything.
That’s basic wisdom belonging to a parent with squabbling children. So, may the media have the courage to be that mirror of humanity at this time in world history.
Bascially, I hope Iran isn’t being blamed for being a Hitler, solely because they own nuclear weapons. Or is it something deeper than this that has the Arab world saying the awful “Hitler” word today.
Arab leaders outside of Iran do believe a Hitler type person walks among us on the earth. This report today is kinda shocking press, from any leaders of any nation when discussing the Wikileaks documents being printed in The New York Times and other allied nations newspapers:
A grey-power King of Arabia leads the charge. Bloomberg news reports: “Saudi Arabia’s 86-year-old ruler, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, frequently called for an attack on Iran, urging the U.S. to “cut off the head of the snake” while there was still time, the newspaper reported. In July 2009, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of Abu Dhabi, then the defense supreme commander for the United Arab Emirates, declared that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad “is Hitler,” according to the newspaper’s description of the embassy cables.
As a global citizen of the world I am left thinking, that’s not a good thing to say to a fellow son of Abraham, but each person is entitled to their own freedom of speech. That’s the gift of being human in this world as these Arab leaders show, being modern thinking allies of Israel today.

WASHINGTON WIKILEAKS NEWS – SAUDI ARABIA AND ARAB NATIONS SIDED WITH ISRAEL, URGING AMERICA TO STOP IRAN
The Wikileaks leaked documents say a lot today in terms of Foreign Affairs in the USA concerning Iran and other Arab Nations. Today, Bloomberg reports:
“Saudi Arabia and other Arab governments sided with Israel in urging the U.S. to stop Iran from developing a nuclear bomb, according to a New York Times account of 250,000 classified U.S. embassy cables released by WikiLeaks, the non-profit website.”
And… “In the documents, American officials say that Iran obtained 19 advanced missiles from North Korea, potentially giving the Islamic Republic the capability to attack Moscow and cities in Western Europe, the newspaper said in articles published online today. At the request of the Obama Administration, the New York Times agreed not to publish the text of the Feb. 24 cable that reported the Korean missile deal with Iran.”
Of course, the White House spokesperson on the matter, a Nicole Thompson, denies any information in these documents via Wikileaks.
Previous information about Nicole states these things: Nicole Thompson serves as a Press Officer in the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Public Affairs.
Her writings focused on the G20 Summit are: “For most of us, up-to-the minute news and information (more…)

True fact: Kim Kardashian is a lot smarter than many A-Listed film actors. A studio doesn’t control her. She’s no one’s puppet and is in charge of her own brand. As we know, she’s a reality TV star. She’s just released her own credit card –namely for her kid fans. She’s on fire. Already she’s under fire though, by the haters who aren’t moguls like Kim is.
Here’s that sentiment today: Celent analyst Zilvinas Bareisis tells American Banker: “I am baffled — this card doesn’t seem to make sense at all, it appears to be targeted at teenagers, yet with ridiculous fees. If there is such a thing as a luxury prepaid market, then it’s not going to be the teens.”
Kardashian’s credit card pricing plan is listed as follows by Biz Insider:
[A field of poppies, Winton Downs, Alfriston]
Reports UK IB Times: “Stephen Lennon, the founder of the English Defence League, has been charged with assaulting a police officer, following a showdown between the anti-Islam group and members of the fundamentalist organisation Muslims Against Crusades.
The confrontation occurred yesterday when MAC broke the two minutes silence held at 11:00 to mark Remembrance Day. During the silence, the group burned poppies and carried placards saying that British soldiers are burning in hell, while the Muslim “soldiers” who fought them are in heaven.
MAC deserves a walloping for being so in-your-face disrespectful. Keep religion out of this debate I say. Just tacky.
UK Telegraph’s Andy Bloxam adds this: “About 35 Islamic protesters, dressed in dark clothes and with many masking their faces, carried banners and chanted slogans such as “British soldiers: terrorists”.
The group confronted police officers and briefly fought with them, leaving one officer with a head injury requiring hospital treatment, and three arrests were made.
Around 50 counter demonstrators from the far-right English Defence League gathered nearby but officers kept the two sides apart.”
One of the passengers on the Tube was Sylvia Black, 61, a retired sub-postmistress from Yeovil, Somerset.
She was wearing a poppy in memory of her uncle, a corporal who was killed in the First World War.
Mrs Black said: “I disagree with what they’re doing. They shouldn’t be doing it and they shouldn’t be allowed to do it.”
Do you think ‘Muslims’ in the UK should be allowed to disrupt memorial days for British soldiers who lost their lives in the war? Is this a justified expression of ‘Muslim’ democracy or are these dudes just taking it too far.
Personally, I’m a poppy boy. A poppy also stands for standing up against Adolph Hitler‘s racism concerning Jews, African-Americans et al and anyone who wasn’t blonde and blue-eyed German in his warped Aryan view of world domination (Arabs included in that excluded warped vision of Hitler) least these ‘Muslim’ or Arab UK lads forget that. Not cool.
Needless to say, whose paying these Muslim actors, to be a distractant to more serious things in the world, like the global economy right now. Because if these boys stopped to think about the ‘Poppy’ being a symbol of freedom (also depicted in Arab-Mid East cultural artworks of the ancients) then they might not be standing on U.K soil today if Hitler had of killed their grandparents or parents. Which if you do the historic math, is why, I say they’re actors.

When we talk about ASEAN nations, or APEC nations, or Obama’s current tour of Asia, we effectively are talking about nations of the world who have Brown Eyes. India, China (1/3rd of the World’s population just in those two nations alone with predominantly brown eyes).
We also talk about Maori the people of Samoa, Tonga Tapu, Fiji, Rarotonga, Nieu, The Tokelaus, Tahiti, The Kings and Queens of Archipelagos in The Marquesas and The Marshall Islands where my American footballer namesake once lived. We talk about brown hobbits and Kiwis. We talk about all people of Papua Niu Guinea, The people of Brazil, The Amazon, Italy, Espana and so the lists goes on to Africa.
This song goes out to all of you today. And to those with variations of blue and green and grey and violet eyes–may you have the courage to see through brown eyes at this time too, in world history.
Perhaps most importantly we also talk of Arab nations and Israel and their peace in this world. We hold keys. Most of these people have brown eyes. Their eyes are our mirror, and we their mirror of acceptance, calm and peace.
Let’s go people! Tihei Mauriora!

A different view: Photoshopped Aubergine featuring the letters, A & B.
If you blog from Hollywood “A” will always stand for Angeles, Angel (a messenger), or, Angelina (Jolie) – a second generation proven Hollywood star and cultural, global treasure of America.
“B” in Hollywood’s current celebrity star system, will always stand for Brad (Pitt)- champion celebrity supporter of the New Orleans Saints football team, who wear a Super Bowl ring. “B” stands for Barack (President Obama, husband of FLOTUS Michelle Obama) and Bill (Clinton) husband of the current US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton or (more current) Canada‘s teen entertainer, Bieber (Justin) or a returning Kawana (Governor) of California, Jerry Brown too.
Of these names listed – American culture is spun, millions of dollars, time, energy, resources, hours and hours and hours of global attention and effort are spent printing, distributing, broadcasting, (watching, viewing, emulating, discussing at office water coolers) any inkling of a sighting or a key message from any one of these names.
As celebrities of entertainment, politics, music, arts and culture – they form a multi-billion dollar industry that generates around them each day. AB people, leading the world – in a metaphor of a (solar) star system, or the particles of an atom. They are the oracles, of a Super Power’s discourse. The artillery (signifiers elect by popular free-choice vote) of a super power’s dominance and culture–imploring the key message of: ‘emulate US’ worldwide. They’re fun people. Fun sells. As celebrities of US culture, I like them all. More often than not, they always bring a smile.
“B” also equals whose got the ball. B is also about what you do for others when you have the ball.
You’re an A-List star in Hollywood when you do A-List worthy things with the ball you hold in your hands for others. Angelina Jolie perhaps sums this up the best, on her humanitarian missions for the UN, to people of the world most needing advocacy. AB is a blood type (like any other, O type for example is too) –the signifier of human life globally–symbolizing the movement of a pulse for the good, across the globe, for people.
Practically speaking though, if you’re from New Zealand and you’re a rugby football enthusiast, AB stands for All Blacks and of them and what they have achieved in sports and what AB’s culture has inspired for human rights records of the World (cf: Nelson Mandela‘s story and human rights, apartheid advocacy via Maori New Zealanders and Kiwis in the documentary films of artist, Merata Mita, one of the most significant filmic artists in the world of all time, who held, focused or directed a camera, in often zero budget filming conditions–yet in a Queenly manner, like Angelina Jolie is now as a debut director, seeing beyond color bars into the heart of genocidal, raping tendencies as a filmic theme)–is only the stuff Hollywood legends are written of and made of. Hence that very long sentence. Sorry ’bout that.
On the other side of the world, in New Zealand, at a significant time in world history as captured on film in Merata’s film, Patu! – AB’s culture helped free a Nobel Peace Prize Winning King, of South Africa. His life story of freedom, is a Kiwi story too. He’s in our hot mix. Maori and Kiwi’s freed him with advocacy also, helping give Nelson his long awaited cup of Liberty in his unique journey of a very long walk to freedom as a now celebrated South Africa icon of the world. When New Zealand play South Africa in rugby, we celebrate our part we play, in his ongoing legacy of freedom. He gave us a challenge, we responded, and that legacy to free others, will always be what we do in rugby country, Middle Earth. It’s a proven gift, a cultural taonga (inner treasure) AB Kiwi-thinkers have, carry, possess, pass on to others when needed for the world.
We instigate the play and the pass of freedom with our actions and instincts, outworked in a teamwork formation. We always have.
AB thinkers and action star-doers, are ‘Humanitarian Messangers of Sport.’ They are down-to-earth and fine Commonwealth people. Their nobility of spirit is defined by a Joe Blogg’s-appearing cloak of humility.
Like any rugby football enthusiast or ‘team work sports’ appreciating Kiwi in the world –The AB’s are our fun heroes. Gladiators of sport, whenever they appear, they symbolize fearless change in a modern world of fiercely contested challenges. New teamwork strategies in play is what they evolve as a science of sport and an art form of globally loved entertainment. They are masters at evolving the game of play and making it better.

What’s cooking in your kitchen for the world America? Good things, I trust. Happy cooking, creating, eating, shared and diverse dining. Peace ya’ll! :)
[Below Image: 'Canterbury Kia Mau Training Rugby Ball" courtesy if Ikon Sport].
A and B are two important keys on a King or Queen’s piano’s keyboard. I am not either. I am the “C” key, of Middle Earth (eyes are needed to C), like any try-and-do-some-good Kiwi does, I try and join in too, in and around supporting our rugby footballers to excel in teamwork opportunities that get the best results on and off the field.
Our rugby players are our AB’s stars. The rest of us Kiwi’s – at best, tend to play the “Middle C” key role of Middle Earth – to entertain for a peaceful and productive future of “big hearted” purposes in the world. Baba Ganoush - with pita bread as a change from Latino-staple Corn Chips and Salsa, in this Jerry Brown latino-voted California’s elect future, of political climate change terrain of Hollywood, that I blog from. Exciting times.
Keeping it real, is having a diverse taste palate. That way, we’re more likely to consider the needs of others, with a worldview different and/or similar to our own. Mature tastes then maturing together with consideration and love for others in our stout rugby and football hearts- Baba Ganoush, why not?! You know it. Peace!

Commentary on what is the purpose of this rally?: Undoubtedly, the man of the moment award this weekend has got to go to both President Obama & also John Stewart. The latter held a rally where 200,000 plus attended uniting community (always a good move in an impersonal IT age), allowing people to scream and vent frustration (healthy for the lungs and emotional cathartic purposes) and get their picture taken at a ‘historic moment’ (an essential in a media age, & good for phone companies). I kid.
John’s closing in his own words in the clip above, sums it all up. He describes “a reflected Image of “US” through a fun house skewing mirror of the carnivalesque-producing media. He says it is a distorted. True, as it’s ratings driven Media/ Sales propelled based on sensationalism. Stuart being one of the best at the game, which is why he holds the microphone in this clip. 30-40 somethings of the U.S currently love Stuart’s news the best. What a guy!
In summation: Why when we go to war (a polarizing matter) and all politicians love raising debate through intersecting two totally opposing views–to give a feeling of ‘change’, ‘progress’, ‘leadership’–as it gets leaders noticed, when they referee such debate –do we then act surprised when people manipulated by these political and media antics –lose a sense of peace and sanity.
It’s a bit rich. But I’m glad everyone at the rally felt happy about attending that’s awesome. Everyone who attended the Halloween rally? last night in West Hollywood, got exactly the same benefits from it, without political orchestration or interference or a noble man of TV Talk’s verbage either –cementing his own ratings, for further down the track of his career.
Gosh — I need another cup of coffee. That was harsh! Good to see the American people unite though. Together Everyone Achieve More– talk?
Seriously though – we live in an age, where a President must partner with a trusted person who has a platform, because us people are so easily distracted by social media, how else does a leader get their nation’s attention. So Obama-Stuart are a good combo, to give messages to the people.
On that note lets go, New Zealand–LOUDER! :)
[This image Sir Richard Taylor, Oscar Winner, at that Hobbit Rally, t'other side of world--doing what Jon Stewart was doing too, uniting hearts and community--for a future project coming up. We know what Sir Richard's is (Hobbit films in 3D)--I wonder what Stuart's is that he's been assigned. All eyes on Jon as well as Hobbits then. Rallies. Gotta love 'em. They're US.
Here's Israeli artist Ofra Haza & some good MC 80's blokes: As critics say, they don't know what Stewart's rally was about, (it was a Seinfeld episode, done live en mass--a "buncha nothing"), this song can help shed light. The captions in the video clip are what Stewart's rally could be about, defining what to turn up the volume. Things like color, diversity, tolerance, peaceful ways forward, artistic authentic expression being shared equally and cross-culturally--while still getting loud for fun. I was 16 dancing to this song with friends. It's kinda jurassic. Still a goodie though. Lol! My point is--when at the place where all these sites can cross-over freely (in equal give and take opportunities) is where love can be found operating between people. That's still what the world wants. Can a government love us? Or be love teachers? Most governments in the world probably won't. But a good one can, will and does.
The governments that do, will rule the world. Love meets in the middle. Like Middle Ground or Middle Earth where two parties meet. Starting with loving the earth, is a good start. People-care goes hand-in-hand with this thinking of earth-care. There's work to be done. Traditionally family, Church, neighborhood, community--teach these values. We must never forget that. It's the government's to fix the economy and grow it, and then when that's done, philosophy about what love is, can be - should happen after that. There are more people qualified to define what love is, than many politicians spending 60 hours a week in a system that is often worn of love. A politicians desire to have love, tolerance, acceptance is an acknowlegement of the deficit in the political system they are married to, politically and spend all the time in. It's not necessarily what the people think, with different lives outside the political system. I think love ambassadors should be that, politicians politicians. Then cross-over, when all jobs are done. We have government, wanting more love--from the people (worship almost) in a way that needs to be checked. Fix the economy, than praise of the people follows. Alright, these are my thoughts. In the meantime, pump up the volume on "big hearted films" or "big hearted community-shared art" and stuff like that. Fun!

Major drama in the Eddie Cibrian camp this Halloween weekend. Scary-romance country thoughts as Rhimes plays bad girl husband-stealer to Swift’s country sweetheart always spurned act. Ridonkulousness tabloid fodder angles for a Country Music Entertainment Halloween Show.
Meanwhile, APEC leaders of the Asia-Pacific world meet in Vietnam (cf: post 3) and did I mention I am a proud Uncle Sam (cf: post 3 “also”) here in America! Cos I am.
Celebrity entertainment Hollywood news as you all voted worldwide today. Here’s our top ten. Democracy looks like this with celeb news and trending topics today. Thanks awesomery, fun people. News on the well-attended Sanity for All rally (pictured below) hosted by Jon Stewart coming soon on the blog. A good indication of how American Kings are entertainers too as well as being President. An entertainment king will share their spotlight with their Pres as Jon Stewart does. Look at that turn out! Insane.
Really getting rid of fear in America, should be about being more China and Indian friendly. You know it. But we’re all growing. That’s also a message to the U.K too. :)
Visibility of APEC leaders of the world is importante. They are joined for the first time this year by Hilary Clinton – all are currently in Vietnam.
Update: John Key is back from pressing the flesh with the leaders of the ten billion dollar trade of nations of ASEAN round table.
TVNZ reports: John Key says: “If you think about the lunch we went to, the richest man in the world was there in the form of the sultan of Brunei, and the largest most populated country in the world was there in the form of China and India and the like,” he said.
Keys has had good rapport to date with Japan and India wanting to sign on more as trading partners in a real way, a first from previous years. Russia also wants to be more a part of ASEAN trade with a burgeoning younger population seeing value. Aspects of US relations with Iran, the Middle East, and North Korea will be on the table when discussing trade for Mr Key when Hilary Clinton visits the North Island and South Island of New Zealand next week.
Hobbit Minded News: And because NZ is a nation that thinks technically ‘fix it’ mindedly (it goes with making Hobbit movies in 3D) this news was also deemed newsworthy too: “Mr Keys needed back up transport back from Vietnam to New Zealand. The Air Force had to use a back-up plane to bring the Prime Minister home from Summit.
The 757 used on the initial trip to Vietnam lost its weather radar on the leg between Darwin and Ho Chi Minh City and the repair job could not be completed in time for the delegation’s departure last night.
It meant the other 757, which had been operating out of Darwin, had to be used to bring them home.”
That’s the news the way it was.

“How can you resolve things speaking in an alien tongue?” he asked in 1983. “The past can only be seen in the language of your ancestors.”–Sir John Turei
Sir Te Ahikaiata John Joseph Turei was remembered in New Zealand.
This great leader of Ngai Tuhoe Maori people did so much for his tribe and Maori in the revitalization of the indigenous Peoples language of New Zealand. His actions and wise words fathered us all.
Haere ra, e Ta. I salute you Tu from Hollywood, The Entertainment Capitol of The World. For the future of all rangatira hou, Mauri Ora Rewa Rewa Ruatoki katoa. Kia kaha tatou. May you exemplify the best of Sir John’s traits to remind us all, what good Maori leadership is and what key cornerstones of it always will be. This his legacy of faith, wisdom, discernment, foresight with prophetic giftings that were rare and love to us all. He saw with the eyes of his wairua, into men’s hearts before they ever opened their mouths. What a man.
Sir John’s humor at surviving the great depression of the 30′s as kid also defines this great man. Another example we need to draw strength from in this times, as defined by these words to the NZ Herald once: “But I suppose I was more fortunate than most in the valley because Dad milked cows. Anyone with more than five cows could survive. You could say I was brought up under a cow’s tit. Milking was something I had to do from the age of six.”
Her served in the Maori battalion in WWII in the Middle East, Egypt, Britiain and Italy. He was a warrior who overcame death, Hitler and death systems for Peace and Life, internationally.
He “played a leading role in the development of Maori language as a foundation member of the Radio Aotearoa Board. He was also a foundation member of the Lion Nathan Scholarship Board for Young Maori achievers and led cultural delegations to China, South Korea, India and the United States.”
He was a man of great faith. During the war he found inspiration from the Presbyterian branch of faith in God. Personally though, I remember him as someone who made me laugh when I saw him speak at Ruatoki. Though strict, he was funny and entertaining too.
Dr. Michael Basset describes his 30 year relationship as a politician with Sir John as knowing these things about him: “Sir John said for me it was a joy to come at an early age under the influence of Sir Apirana Ngata. While John took the name Turei from the man his mother (Te Ahikaiata) was meant to marry, his “biological father” (as John always called Tami Te Whetu), increasingly acknowledged his son and took him along to political gatherings. Long before Turei performed the wero in front of Lord Bledisloe at the opening of the Treaty House at Waitangi in 1934, he had met Ngata, then Native Minister. Having left school early because his grandmother couldn’t afford Te Aute’s uniform, John often accompanied Ngata and Te Whetu on ministerial trips. Carrying bags, polishing shoes and fetching hot water for Ngata’s shaving, enabled John to listen to the old man talking with his closest confidants. John was always a good listener. His eyes would sometimes close in meetings, but he heard everything.”
… Key words: “wise money management for Treaty Settlement monies,” “humbugs vs punctuality”…. He also believed new generations needed to be married with tradition while wanting them to embrace tikanga with diverse modern expression. What he also gave to the people of Panmure and Waipareira in my tribal rohe of Ngati Whaatua, for this too, I say thank you from Hollywood for all Maori in Tamaki – The supercity.
He passed away in Blockhouse Bay where he lived, a city where my own parents first met and fell in love at first sight. From Nga Puhi, my other Maori tribe, Sir John’s words were measured, spoken like bread made of the finest wheat from Whangarei for all in New Zealand. A trait we can all emulate in honor of this great and noble man.
He was a man of Spirit. He was also an academic Dr. He was an ambassador to America, during his lengthy lifetime as a New Zealand leader. “Very much missed.”

Heading in to the Grey Lnn festival 2010, this one’s for US.
All men are created equal – Abraham Lincoln
Because we are equal, isn’t it time for Maori, Polynesian, Asian-Kiwi’s turn to lead with an expression unique for US all–Horiwood*
Quote on making the prestigious football squad – “Making this squad is the first step, but I still have to prove myself.”
Brotha! You are Hollywood, California approved. Sports needs entertainers.
Let’s go NYC! NZ! Cali! Action sports commerce stars are US.
Zoo York poetic politics today & Music by Nesian Mystik,
Poetic vibe: We sing of overcoming injustice, we sing of sharing, we sing of community, we sing of faith, we sing of never forgetting our roots of our Polynesian ghetto fairy tales and all we learned in these times. Our parents lying awake afraid at early Dawn light in Otara and Porirua, for the knock of the police on front and back doors. Or Aunties assembled in community of make-shift marae at Bastion Point, standing like noble warriors in our once ‘criminalness’ on our own land … For the longest time we have been cast kind of like Robin Hood heroes really, when you look at world politics and history.
Maybe our white brothers, saved us up to mull like fine Maori and Polynesia, vitner’s wine belonging to beautiful Aotearoa/ New Zealand. If so, their foresight was good. Their infrastructure needed. Now, we are required to be poured like the best wine, in this decade and the one’s beyond for all of our people. Not one excluded.
Colorful bouquet, nuanced cultures so rich, we are fine wine, a healing balm for the world. We have awoken to discover that the world has rapidly changed, suddenly – like Sonny Bill, switching codes and coming out on top last week, we find ourselves too at the world’s center, not by anything we did. But we are ready. Thanks Sonny Bill and coach Graham Henry for an important paradigm shift, an inspiring message of change, with one new team selection – and recognizing this global trend and what Maori and Polynesia have to offer the world forward.
*I think of “olive” as a color to ponder, like Ata Te Kanawa wrote about, being the future face of New Zealand. I think of olive’s (the food) eaten in the Middle East and Mediterranean alike. May this metaphor of peace, an “olive” be the pride and dignity of a teamwork spirit of equally shared mana, that defines the Kiwi spirit, vision, ability to serve, and our humor that can entertain, like few can. May what we have, be a healing balm in the Middle East too – like an olive branch we always extend. May the same attractant to heal and entertain also be commercially sought after from New York and California alike. Zoo York Nesian-Kiwis, let’s go. New wine time. From California, I feel your Kiwi spirit.

Brahim Zaibat leaves Club Aura, with Madonna, last night, Saturday in London. The rumor mill spins that Brahim, a 24 year-old back up dancer, is Madonna’s latest boyfriend.
I think Madonna’s just making a point that Arab or Muslim men, aren’t our enemy. They’re just people, just like us nonMuslims.

Pakistan – ISLAMABAD — Suspected militants attacked and set fire to at least 20 tankers carrying oil for NATO and U.S. troops in Afghanistan on Monday, the third such strike inside Pakistan in as many days, police said. Police officer Umer Hayat said three people were killed and blamed Monday’s attack on “terrorists.”
Are Europeans helping the other team in Pakistan? Outrageous: “ISLAMABAD — Dozens of Muslim militants with European citizenship are believed to be hiding out in the lawless tribal area of northwestern Pakistan, Pakistani and Western intelligence officials say, training for missions that could include terror attacks in European capitals.”
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not supposed to talk about classified information to the media, said foreigners in the area also include Chechens, Uzbeks, Arabs and Turks, one of whom was a former F-16 pilot in the Turkish air force.
“That shows you that some of the people who are coming are very well educated,” he said.” If you’re Muslim – it’s a good time, not to ring your cousin in Pakistan and ask how the wife and kids are.
The U.S has all of Europe grateful to it, by locking up the entire holiday season, with fear and suspicion: “State Department notice issued Sunday about the potential for terrorists attacks in Europe. The alert expires Jan. 11.
“Terrorists may elect to use a variety of means and weapons and target both official and private interests. U.S. citizens are reminded of the potential for terrorists to attack public transportation systems and other tourist infrastructure. Terrorists have targeted and attacked subway and rail systems, as well as aviation and maritime services.
U.S. citizens should take every precaution to be aware of their surroundings and to adopt appropriate safety measures to protect themselves when traveling.” Although this warning is issued to American tourists in Europe, how does this make Europeans feel? It’s also very damaging to Europe’s tourism dollar, certainly a deterrent not to leave the U.S before Jan 11, and head in Europe’s direction. But since 9-11, we always have to take things like this serious. But in political press terms – all eyes are on Obama until January 11. As noted by the warning, obviously, always catch a cab. And always choose the most ‘Muslim’ looking cab driver, because no matter which way you look at it – he’s got children to feed, so he won’t be blowing you up, neither his well Educated Muslim ‘terrorist’-looking cousins either.
[And to calm things down a little, here's Janet Jackson (again) with her new beau Mr Al Mana, in Paris over the weekend. And also performing in 2002 or her World Tour - as a reminder that the Jackson family have always entertained Muslim nations too as an American family. Peace ya'll. Is Janet Jackson a modern day Princess Diana or what?! Anyway, More terrorist attack warnings follow]. (more…)
