Despite what Perez Hilton’s Mario Lavandeira falsely claimed for two weeks on his blog, that GI Joe: Return of The Cobra would fail miserably at the box, it (unsurprisingly) did not. What does Mario know? Nada.
Congrats to Channing Tatum for having the #1 movie in America at the box office over the weekend, taking over $54 million in movie ticket sales domestically in the US of A.
Also congratulations to the movie’s producers who opted not to have the customary Hollywood movie critic early screening reviews session, and who atypically led with confidence, just opening the movie to the US public without journalists ‘help.’
It worked. #1.
Is this a new trend for blockbuster films for the future?
Journalists could well learn to be a tad bit sweeter, if they even have hopes to be the privileged few and review a movie first. It’s a wake up call to all film reviewers, that the American people decide with or without journalists ‘expert’ opinion on films.
A journalist has never made a film, so why they get to critique it has always been a mystery to me. I think newspapers and entertainment critics should be guest filmmakers, guest screenwriters and guest reporters commenting on their peers films rather than a journalist.
The Rise of the Cobra’s #1 success at the box office, could perhaps be an indication that the days of the film critic are numbered. I hope not, but just sayin!
Congrats to Mario Lavandeira on establishing his music label, Perezcious music.
Now that he’s in the music biz to position his own artists into music and entertainment markets, it goes without saying that PerezHilton can no longer be trusted to give an opionion on music fairly on other record label’s music talent and artists.
The Black Eyed Peas, Avril Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Diddy, Lil Wayne et al, have fallen victim to PerezHilton’s poisoned pen, in the last few weeks.

Oh dear… blogger Perez Hilton (real name, Mario Lavandeira) does not understand the meaning of the word assualt.
The blogger, who cried wolf for “mad attention” at a major music industry award in Canada, wrongly accusing music producer/ music artist, Will I Am, of The Black Eyed Peas for assaulting him… still has not offered Will I Am an apology for lying via twitter. Instead, Perez is now suing a different named assaulter, because he knows Will I Am did not assault him. (more…)
Blogger Perez Hilton, claims he got assaulted by Will I Am in Toronto Canada. Will I Am denies the assault. Perez Hilton said “The truth about how I was attacked in Toronto!There were MULTIPLE witnesses. What I say above is fact and it will be corroborated as such”
The blogger posts an emotional 11 minute video explaining what happened between him and Will.I.Am. He is posting the video as Mario Armando Lavandeira, Perez Hilton’s real name, because he is tired of living in Paris Hilton’s glass slipper, and court documents need to be filed in real people’s real names.
In the video Perez says “Will.I.Am is a coward.” He adds “I didn’t ask for this, I didn’t deserve this”. Perez talks about how he got punched two or three times in the eye.
To view Will.I.Am’s video response here. Perez has always bagged the Black Eyed Peas #1 hit song, Boom Boom Pow from day 1. That’s the only cause I can see to Perez being assaulted at all by Will I Am, who is a favored hip hop performer of Barack Obama.
Although physical violence can never be condoned as a normal way of life, one can’t help but think of all the psychological violence Perez Hilton has caused many young rising stars, regarding their reputations and careers via his blog. Particularly young women in Perez’s hate campaigns against, Vanessa Hudgens, Avril Levine, Jessica Alba, Kristen Stewart of Twilight and New Moon, Miley Cyrus (up until this year) and such a long list of other young female Hollywood actors. Perhaps Perez forgets that violence comes in many forms.
When hit, stand up and take it like a man, and yes, go to court if you feel the need to. But don’t cry about it. It’s another PR grandstanding moment for Perez. It is almost July, and the blogger needs some press. I’m sure Dustin Lance Black, the Oscar winner whose naked sex pics, Perez Hilton widely disseminated last weekend on his blog, without a thought, is trying very hard not to think, “good job.” Perez needs to think about that, when karma gets served back on him, perhaps. Also when Rihanna is going to court for domestic violence with Chris Brown, why Perez feels the need to somehow think he’s Riri and get in on the act to, is lol funny, as to how he invents his press. Now it’s the Rihanna and Perez show as victims at the hands of black men in music. The dude has got ADD in a big way!

At the risk of sounding like he has sour grapes at Mario Lavandeira’s lucrative success in the blog world of weekly advertising dollars… Pasetsky demonstrates a sense of fairness regarding human dignity and how all bloggers should report it. He doesn’t sound jealous to me, he’s just calling out someone, who should not have published those pics, when Perez has the audience of 53 million blog hits a week.

American Idol runner up, Adam Lambert, doesn’t want to be vampired up yet by aging rockers, Queen as their front man. PerezHilton.Com’s Mario Lavandeira and Miss California’s Carrie Prejean’s very public spat recently, demonstrates a need for a greater understanding to love that exists in America and the world. I recommend this book, Courage To Love by author Robert Ellis, for the duo to read. It’s a beautiful love story about forbidden love, where tolerance is the only way forward for two people in the new world they both hope for.
