New Zealand’s Prime Minister appeared on The Edge radio station to warble a Christmas ditty before he jets out with family for the holiday season. Topics of conversation were: What to get Will & Kate for their wedding present next year, a niece’s wedding in London and enjoying mohitos and corn-fed beef in Hawaii where The Keys plans to vacation this year.
Go here to see the flattest rendition of this song in any Kiwi pub’s history, but hey, 200% effort for leaping in and being a sport. What a hoot. Happy Holidays New Zealand. :)

[A field of poppies, Winton Downs, Alfriston]
Reports UK IB Times: “Stephen Lennon, the founder of the English Defence League, has been charged with assaulting a police officer, following a showdown between the anti-Islam group and members of the fundamentalist organisation Muslims Against Crusades.
The confrontation occurred yesterday when MAC broke the two minutes silence held at 11:00 to mark Remembrance Day. During the silence, the group burned poppies and carried placards saying that British soldiers are burning in hell, while the Muslim “soldiers” who fought them are in heaven.
MAC deserves a walloping for being so in-your-face disrespectful. Keep religion out of this debate I say. Just tacky.
UK Telegraph’s Andy Bloxam adds this: “About 35 Islamic protesters, dressed in dark clothes and with many masking their faces, carried banners and chanted slogans such as “British soldiers: terrorists”.
The group confronted police officers and briefly fought with them, leaving one officer with a head injury requiring hospital treatment, and three arrests were made.
Around 50 counter demonstrators from the far-right English Defence League gathered nearby but officers kept the two sides apart.”
One of the passengers on the Tube was Sylvia Black, 61, a retired sub-postmistress from Yeovil, Somerset.
She was wearing a poppy in memory of her uncle, a corporal who was killed in the First World War.
Mrs Black said: “I disagree with what they’re doing. They shouldn’t be doing it and they shouldn’t be allowed to do it.”
Do you think ‘Muslims’ in the UK should be allowed to disrupt memorial days for British soldiers who lost their lives in the war? Is this a justified expression of ‘Muslim’ democracy or are these dudes just taking it too far.
Personally, I’m a poppy boy. A poppy also stands for standing up against Adolph Hitler‘s racism concerning Jews, African-Americans et al and anyone who wasn’t blonde and blue-eyed German in his warped Aryan view of world domination (Arabs included in that excluded warped vision of Hitler) least these ‘Muslim’ or Arab UK lads forget that. Not cool.
Needless to say, whose paying these Muslim actors, to be a distractant to more serious things in the world, like the global economy right now. Because if these boys stopped to think about the ‘Poppy’ being a symbol of freedom (also depicted in Arab-Mid East cultural artworks of the ancients) then they might not be standing on U.K soil today if Hitler had of killed their grandparents or parents. Which if you do the historic math, is why, I say they’re actors.

As a leader I love her because she can listen and divide matters fairly. In this regard she’s just like her grandma, Lady Thorp–Horiwood on Trinity Brooke’s fearless leadership skills.
Trinity Brooke of rugby royalty has a beaming smile today as she hangs out with some girlfriends for a bit of socialite time in the U.K. She is the grandchild of Lady Patricia Thorp, the sweetest woman who served Auckland City on The Council looking after the environment. That was Lady Thorp’s hot thing, amongst many. As a leader, Brooke is a young lady I trust. She’s always worthy of spotlight and she’s a pearla.
When it comes to entertainment trends, Trinity has the best tastes. She grew up with women the ilk of Debbie Harwood singing impromptu (no bands, no palava just real true fearless Kiwi talent) around her dinner table, as a kid growing up in New Zealand, so you can’t blame Trin really. She’s the real deal Pasifika knowing Kiwi girl. Impeccable taste.
Trinity and myself, thanks to Lady Thorp, both went together to see Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson perform live in concert, because Patricia was like that. If someone was talented with a message people needed to see and hear and feel, Patricia was the all for the talented person in the world. I still thank her for her gifts of leadership today, that Trinity Brooke now also carries so richly in her young life. Trinity Brooke is special. She knows the ways and I know that Trinity does. Women of action. Can’t be beat.
When we last caught up with Trinity, she’d recently given birth to baby Oscar Brooke and then had launched right on into a wee triathlon excursion. Kiwi’s–we’re full on!
Trinity is all about health and fitness. Actually this girl always has been as far as I can recall. Love her. She’s a fine basketball player and netball player too.
What a gorgeous Maori-Kiwi smile. Full beam ahead then. Hey Trin. :)
[Trinity Brooke is proudly of the Ngati Awa Maori tribe and also of Matakana Island Maori tribal affiliations too. Now based in London, Brooke is from Auckland the Supercity and has fun family in Melbourne Australia too. Image Trinity's own. Amy Te Whetu is pictured with Trinity on the right. Go Maori-Kiwi girl's in the UK!]

Some dudes with their handi cam, filmed a bit of Lady Gaga‘s interview with Anderson Cooper. From what you can hear of the footage, Gaga says the best way fans can get to know her is on stage.
Having seen her perform live in L.A Christmas Eve, I can’t argue with that. Stefani Germanotta gives a very intimate performance on stage for her fans. You do feel like you know the artist behind the music when she talks in between her songs. It feels like the only breathing room she has in life, to actually catch up with her own achievements, when she takes to the stage for fans and chats. In that moment she’s real.
The full interview airs in February. Why so far away?

The UK’s Angelina Jolie, Cheryl Cole - has a fair few fans. Cole is now immortalized in wax at Madam Toussads in London.
[In 2020, model and future movie star, Yasmin Bidois (Nga puhi & Ngati Awa Maori tribes), will be 25, a leader of a majority New Zealand population of Polyeurasians. How exciting. Everything we do, is for Yasmin and her generation, if any of us, have passion for New Zealand's well being and future. Sign me up. What a beautiful generation to work for and serve. Yes!].
Here’s the paradigm shift of the century, for New Zealanders. It goes like this:
Polyeurasians are expected to sit at 52% of the NZ population by 2021 based on Statistic NZ projections. So by my maths, Olive (as in skin) is the new Black – Culture (as in Maori) the nuance, and, Native the new exotic.–Ata Te Kanawa.
Brown is the new black.

Glass Magazine of the UK is a great magazine for fashion victims and artistic designer types. I am liking its penchant of good taste with an aesthetically pleasing artistic design sensibility. It’s intelligent graphic design and top quality photography reflecting the best of both the architectural and fashion worlds.
Fusion always rocks when done well like Glass Magazine demonstrates.
If you love the reality TV Show, Project Runway with Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and Tim Gunn, then you’ll totally appreciate Glass Magazine. To find out about Glass Magazine, go here to their website.
To order it in America, go here via Mark Pasetsky’s website. Thanks Mark. Architects with a fashion conscious spouse, this is YOUR magazine.
Hollywood upstart, Hayden Panettiere appears on the cover of UK Company Magazine, because the Brit’s love their fix of naughty girls (Amy Winehouse, Katie Price, Kerrry Katona, Lily Allen, Kate Moss et al).
In the magazine, that Brits are reading while they swig down a pint at the pub with a fish and chip lunch in their lunch hours during UK winter, Hayden spills the beans on three very important topics close to her heart.
These being: gossip, image and staying ground (the latter being a topic she knows nothing about!). Here’s what she had to say:
On her love hate relationship with gossip: It depends on what it is. Sometimes things come up that need to be dealt with or damage-controlled, but if they don’t then I stick my fingers in my ears and go ‘lalalala’-I don’t care.
On her me, myself and I love affair with her body shape: Staying in shape is part of my job, but I’m not always the best at being diligent about working out. I try not to let it grab hold of my life.
On her delusion that she is remotely grounded and down to earth: Well, for one thing, it’s like having a bunch of big brothers on the set [of Heroes]. I am the butt of every joke in that place-I’m constantly being made fun of and having my ego smashed by them! But really it’s just the people that are around me-my family and really close friends. You become very guarded, but it also makes those people close to you so much more valuable.
Honestly, this girl deserves to be read in a lunch hour over greasy fries, fish dripping in lard and then swilled down with barley hops and beer. No wonder why the Brit’s love her. She’s everything that Londoners would love coming out of America.
Too funny! What a great cover from the heroes hottie. Growing up is never easy in Hollywood for kids. It’s a rough and tumble world on those tumultuous red carpets in Tinsel Town. Hayden is one of the best examples of that!
Shakira rocks the cover of Latina Magazine. She is the Sonia Sotomayor of Latina pop justice, and her hips don’t lie. Love Shakira!

Andy Warhol’s famous portrait of Michael Jackson, in his Thriller hey day of 1984, is up for sale.
The artwork is being shown at the 02 Arena in London and will go to the highest bidder, reports the BBC.
Janet Lehr, whose the art dealer for the famous piece says: “This Andy Warhol portrait brings together the uncontested King of Pop Art with the uncontested King of Pop.”
Nice! Now whose going to buy it?
London Underground style from the bros days of 80s London music, is the inspiration for David Beckham’s new hair cut.
Very practical for LA Summer. I’m at Laguna Beach today, catching a wave, and it’s hot here too in the OC. :)
Nice hair cut!
It’s official, Blake Civil-Fielder, the man who inspired many of Amy Winehouse’s hit songs about love and heartache on her Grammy winner album, Black To Black, is officially not the singers’ husband anymore.
Sad. Blake and Amy’s divorced was announced in a London court room today and the Winehouse family are said to be so happy.
