Although Kris Allen and Adam Lambert share Billboard Magazine’s cover, the difference between their music careers was interesting to observe when watching the American Music Awards tonight.
Kris was asked to present an award with Demi Lovato. Conversely, Adam Lambert was the closing act and artist of the night at America’s big Music Awards show that has the appearance of the people voting on and deciding who wins the awards.
Nice to see the two American Idol lads of 2009 share a cover together.

The rumors are true. Posh Spice (aka Victoria Beckham) has been tapped by a guest judge on American Idol, by Simon Cowell, to replace Paula Abdul. After Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest got massive payrises, and Abdul only got offered pittance more in her contract, she decided not to return to the hit talent show that Abdul helped make famous as a talent judge.
Posh has already started in the preliminary auditions of Idol, because the show must go on. That’s how Cowell and his team roll. Paula was spotted arriving at Burbank airport, Friday. She’s looking great.
Meanwhile, three American Idols rocked the stage of Good Morning America yesterday. David Cook shared his spotlight with Kris Allen and Adam Lambert with a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s hit song. They sound good together. What a shake up, AI has had this year. Nice to see these lads show the fuit of what the show, can be capable of.

Amber Rose is now single. Hot!
Adam Lambert’s American Idol “crush” on fellow winner, Kris Allen, was an attempt to get some of the media spotlight onto Allen, as it’s all been on Adam, when he didn’t win the competition. The two are good buddies.
Meanwhile in London, Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest felt that American Idol was getting way to gay, so they decided to go to Stringfellows, a famous London strip club. The only thing missing in their photo is Carrie Prejan!
Identity and sexuality continue to be hot topics in America as these lads antics and PR shows us this week. Are they all trying to give Adam a good head start in the fame game?

The LA Times article portrays the friendship between “American Idol” finalists Adam Lambert and Kris Allen as “unlikely” and describes them as “seeming polar opposites.” It contends that each has fans who “should be rooting for the other.”
These observations are true only if one ascribes to the narrow parameters of stereotypes of religion and sexual orientation; most human beings do not fit these caricatures. The majority of Americans gladly put aside their differences and appreciate one another for who they are. This “new tolerance” may be attributed to the Obama administration, but ordinary folks have known this all along: Most people are kind to one another.
Unfortunately, conflict–not kindness–makes front-page news.

He’s going to leave that to Perez Hilton, who can’t sing and gets jealous of Lambert’s instant popularity and fame easily. I kid! :)
American Idol runner up, Adam Lambert, doesn’t want to be vampired up yet by aging rockers, Queen as their front man. He’s considering the flattering offer though to step into the big vocal shoes left behind by Lady Gaga’s hero, Freddy Mercury. Instead he wants the focus of all press about himself to be about his own music and sound. Said like a truly talented artist, who cares about the art and does not have to worry about ‘sensationalist’ gimmicks which non-talented people often use to get themselves ahead! He’s an artist for the long haul.Nice!
American Idol, Kris Allen’s single of the Kara DioGuardi penned song, No Boundaries, is outselling runner up’s, Adam Lambert’s same single of the song. According to Sound can, Allen has sold 135,000 with Lambert at 35,000 copies. Congrats Kris Allen. You’re off to a good start cashing in on Idol’s fame. Lambert’s turn will come later with his album release, no doubt. Patience is the order of the day.
Thank goodness for the New York Times and east coast braniac reporting from Jon Carmanica. For a great wrap up and AMERICAN IDOL analysis of the entire Kris Allen crowned, season, you’ve got to read this article:
Highlights of the article for me are:
Kris Allen: America chose a harmless “Mr Aw-Shucks” singer, he makes Kenny Loggins look tough.
After leaving the screening of Inglorious Basterds in Cannes, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie headed for dinner to Michaelangelo’s restaurant in Cannes. Yeah, we get it, while Ron Howard’s and Tom Hanks’ Angels & Demons is #1 at the box office in America, and they’re in France… they’re both artists! Nice … :)

Okay, the internet is abuzz with mixed reports, that Adam Lambert wasn’t crowned American Idol King last night. First of all, congrats to Kris Allen as America’s new singing pop king of the people. Now let’s analyze the show last night from a producer’s (aka Simon Fuller, oh… and Simon Cowell’s) TV formatting perspective.
American Idol Finale show’s TV format, was based on the fact that Adam Lambert is the most lucrative recording artist of this year’s, American Idol line up. I say that, because this was where all of the money was spent on last night’s finale. For example, Kiss and the ‘big blinging’ rock production number, was totally revolved around Adam.
Sometimes, you give ‘the people’ what they want. But the money making people (Fuller and Cowell) take the artist who lays the golden eggs (Adam Lambert) and they exit stage left into the recording studio and run! (more…)
Hayden Panettiere caused a raucus at Cannes while holidaying on a yacht with Brit boyfriend Steve Jobs when her bikini body revealed her misspelt tattoo. The Italian body art says ‘vivere senza rimipianti’ inked in large letters along her left flank. ‘Rimipianti’ means ‘regretting.’ ”We think she means ‘vivere senza rimpianti’ which translates to mean ‘live without regrets’,” said the New York Post. Hayden is now an advocate of dyslexia awareness. Love it!

Kris Allen’s smooth vocals and boy-next-door image propelled him to “American Idol” victory Wednesday, turning the theatrical powerhouse Adam Lambert into the most unlikely of also-rans.
