Many celebrity bloggers ran a story today that Kiefer Sutherland was removed by bouncers while at the Sringfellows strip club of London. Gossip bloggers alluded to the fact that Kevin was behaving really badly inside the club.
But thank goodness for the LA Times, who exist to exhonerate Hollywood celebrities who are… well cultural American treasures really.
Says the LA Times in this report from Christie D’Zurilla Kiefer Sutherland ‘s visit to his London establishment, Gossip Cop reports .
Countering earlier reports that a sodden Sutherland had been forcibly ejected, club owner Peter Stringfellow has blogged that the actor was charming to all, simply slipped while exiting under the protection of club security, and had stripped off his own shirt as a joke.
“When it was explained to him very gently that that was the job of the girls and not the customers he burst out laughing,” Stringfellow wrote. “His friend thought that this would be a good time for them go home.”
The back-door departure was an attempt to keep Sutherland away from paparazzi lenses, he says — though someone snapped a shot that looks as if one bouncer has the actor in a headlock. Stringfellow says that’s just how his guy caught the “24″ star after slipped and fell.’
And there you have it. Kiefer was just having fun and was not behaving badly at all. Ah… the magic of Hollywood PR. Love it.

As we know, vampires are all the rage. Horiwood’s theory is that vampires are so hot right now, because of the recession.
The last eight years of American politics, has vampired the next generation, who are growing up having to bear the consequences of repaying the debt of a mismanaged America. That’s over $1 trillion worth of debt. Meaning, that politicians in office did drink the future dreams and lifeblood of today’s tweens. Yes! It sucks!
But the good news is, that in this cultural climate of pop culture, vampires entertain us with their personal battles to be virtuous and good as they coexist in a world of humans that both frustrate and fascinate them.
