My thoughts are Kelly just needs to be writing more of her own songs, to facilitate the amazing gift of her voice and the way it is presented to the world.

Because, Taylor Swift, sung off key at her Grammys performance and came under fire (it’s the order of show biz, to take down the top dog, hence outcries about Swift’s less than pitch perfect performance); her manager, Scott Borchetta, slammed American Idol winners instead, saying that Swift was not one of those and that everyone could just suck it. He also said a whole bunch of other crap too.

I’d seen Kelly singing the song live at the Orange County Fair where she had her last ‘LA’ concert, while I munched on barbecued sweet corn. One of the times I felt most American ever!

I am not alone in my love for Kelly Clarkson’s divalicous status here in the US. Kelly is the 12th most googled celebrity female of 2009 on google. Her real American girl next door charm is endearing. She’s sweetness and light in a recession. Love her!

Not only was it a magical, romantic occasion, but Kelly Clarkson is an amazing singer. So real. So down to earth. And she over delivers, exceeding expectations for all concert goers and her fans. Wow! Diva!!!
