SPARROW MADDEN SAYS HI PEOPLE
Nicole Richie proudly debuts her 6 week old son, Sparrow Madden to the world via People Magazine.
He’s only 6 weeks old and Sparrow Madden can do a mean close up! Not to be upstaged by her mom and lil bro, Harlowe Madden is doing adorable paparazzi poses with rocker dad, Benji Madden.
To see how baby Sparrow Madden could grow up to be an artist in Hollywood like Walt Disney, go here. (It won’t be hard. Sparrow can start with drawing one of his dad Joel’s 200 tattoos. By the time he draws all 200, he will be Walt!)
Seriously though, nice family photos for People Magazine from Nicole and Joel. I love the running side bar, which features Nicole’s late godfather, Michael Jackson, dads who sell their kids for Publicity (Richard Heene) and my favorite, The Secret Lives of Alcoholic Moms.
It always costs a star a lot, when they land the holy grail of celebrity tabloid covers, like Richie just has. The bigger the star, the more ridiculously the headlines beside their name. Nice one Nicole Richie! Your best work yet.

NICOLE RICHIE IS A FASHION DESIGNER FOR PREGNANT MOMS
Because her husband, Joel Madden just gets more tattoos and tweets so much, Nicole Richie is the major bread winner in her family. Just kidding.
But Richie is spreading her pregnant wings into the fashion world with a maternity line called a Pea In The Pod. Cute!
She says: ”A Pea in the Pod is such a well known company for pregnant women. They carry great lines, and so when they asked me to create a line for them I was really excited and eager to do it… You really feel like you have to change your whole wardrobe when pregnant. And that’s the last thing a woman wants to go through. So I really tried to make this line to get women excited about wearing clothes….It feels great to see everything come to life. It’s the best feeling in the world to have your visions and dreams come together. I’m excited for people to see them. I just hope that people like it.”
The clothes aren’t too steeply priced. For example, a tank top is selling for $48 and dresses for $148.
From her DUI days in young Hollywood, hasn’t Nicole Richie come a long, long way. She’s so responsible these days. Nicole and Joel’s second child is due in two months time. A Pea in The Pod, hits clothing stores this Friday, the same day as GI Joe hits movie theaters.

Um, we love Good Charlotte, but I think that Joel Madden could be just a little bit threatened that Trace Cyrus and Metro Station are such a good band.

This is the latest from Joel Madden. His little self-indulgent, mock up of himself as the 1st man ever on the cover of Elle Magazine. This is such Chaz Bono-ness gender bending wannabe-ness stuff (in a women’s media setting) that it brings on the lols from Joel. We all know that Miley Cyrus is Elle’s cover subject of hotness.
So why is Joel insertingng his own mug on the cover of a women’s magazine? Trace Cyrus and his band Metro station are shaking things up people in Good Charlotte’s world of rocking indie American bands! You know it.
At least Joel is a tad bit funny though. But go Trace Cyrus’ angel maestro soul, in this world of hotter than hotter bands!

A BABY BOY ON THE WAY FOR NICOLE RICHIE AND JOEL MADDEN?
You can never entirely trust retail people when you’re a celebrity. They will blab their mouth’s off the moment a celeb leaves a store, to get their store noticed with the paps. On the back of that sentiment, comes this news, that Nicole Richie and Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden are expecting a baby boy in August. Here’s the tabloid quote: ”Joel bought water-based paint for the nursery and – surprise, surprise – it’s blue,” a friend close to the couple blabbed to In Touch Weekly
JOEL MADDEN: BRITISH AIRWAYS VICTIMIZE THE TATTOO-ED ONE!
[image source] Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden, hubby of Nicole Richie, was a victim of prejudice when a British airline staff member asked Joel to cover up his tattoo-ed rock star arms to board their flight so that he wouldn’t offend passengers on the plane. What idiots! He should sue them! It’s not what people look like, but what’s in their hearts that really matters! British Airwaves are peaved that their staff member did that, when there are no rules saying that Tattoo-ed artistic types need to cover up at all on their airline. Nice damage control BA! Meanwhile Virgin airline’s billionaire owner races around on a kite ski with a half naked super model, Danni Parkinson on his back! Um yeah… all non-stuffy, non-self-righteous, and non-judgmental NORMAL customers of British Airlines should immediately transfer to Virgin Airlines asap!

Joel Madden, Nicole Richie, Benji Madden Host a Benefit Gala for Clean Water
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, parents of the adorable Harlow Madden, hosted a benefit for UNICEF and for their own Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation on Monday night. The charity event was to bring awareness to the fact that many in the world do not have access to clean drinking water.
Something so basic, yet we are so privileged to have. In such countries who do not have access to clean drinking water, life expectancy is 39 years of age. Imagine a world, with so few grandparents. Certainly very few great grandparents. Scary! Sad. Compelling to act and make a difference. Nice to see the Madden Richie’s working it here.
