THE KUNG FU KID TRAILER IS THE HOT SHIZZLE OF AMERICAN ENTERTAINMENT 2010
China + America = the hottest ticket of the new frontier of world entertainment.
What this film starring Jayden Smith and Jackie Chan needs is a rename from The Karate Kid to The Kung Fu kid asap.
There’s no karate in it so the film title is totally irrelevant. Culturally insensitive as it currently stands to both Japanese and Chinese martial arts culture. But that glaringly obvious issue aside, I love this film already. Hot. Hot. hot!

BEYONCE + THE GO-GO’s + SUZIE WONG ART = LA TODAY. HOT!
Beyonce grew up in Destiny‘s Child, the biggest selling all girl group on the planet. But long before Beyonce ‘borrowed’ from The World of Suzie Wong: The Movie fashion styling to tour the world, there were All American Girl Bands who worked hard without as much recognition and who paved the way.
The Go-Go‘s are an all girl band that define the Californian story and lifestyle. Four girls came from four different states across the USA, to Los Angeles to enjoy the surf n sun.
They ended up colliding into one another in the fast-paced LA life and forming a band. The rest is history.
The Go-Go’s are tres amazing. I saw them in concert at The House of Blues on West Hollywood’s infamously fun, Sunset Strip. Enjoy, their music in the form of this clip from The Johnny Carson Show and vintage Suzie Wong movie promotional artwork, today.
America endearing China and China endearing America, is the way of the future and a golden romance of political ties and alliances, with India. The Kung Fu Kid executive produced by Will Smith starring Will’s son, Jayden Smith and Chinese geat, Jackie Chan is Hollywood’s next big effort to produce and generate a Chinese-friendly film. Securing the music rights of Michael Jackson‘s music and incorporating it into the journey of the young hero’s story for this film; will be pivotal to breaking into China.
Yes We Can… Let’s go America!!!
The Go-Go’s lyrics of one of their most famous songs, Our Lips follows. Great fun girls:
JACKIE CHAN IS THE SPY NEXT DOOR
We are all awaiting with baited breath the Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith remake of The Karate Kid classic. Chan’s version, produced by Will Smith is called The Kung Fu Kid and is set in China.
In the meantime though, here’s Jackie Chan’s latest film, The Spy Next Door. The plot line of the film goes kinda like this: ”While babysitting his neighbor’s children, a mild-mannered guy winds up having to fight off secret agents after one of the kids inadvertently downloads a secret code.”
Gosh, it sounds like what bored kids in Beverly Hills would get up to for sh*ts and giggles while amusing themselves. I love it. Spy hits theaters January 10th 2010. The movie trailer can be viewed here. Billy Ray Cyrus and George Lopez also star with Chan.
Meanwhile Jackie’s getting all Shaolin temple-ish for his kung fu skills that Chinese love to see him perform.
Kung fu to the Chinese is kind of like the haka for Maoris and horis down under, as in… what the New Zealand All Blacks rugby football team perform at international sports matches. Fiercely entertaining. Don’t mess.
Jackie Chan rocks. In that 樂 的 心 乃 是 良 藥 ; 憂 傷 的 靈 使 骨 枯 乾 kinda way. You know it :)

KUNG FU JACKSON ACTION: WAS PARIS JACKSON’S SPEECH IMPROMPTU OR PLANNED?
There’s a lot of speculation going around today as to whether Paris Jackson’s speech was impromptu or planned.
Mark Maklin concludes: “The big message at the memorial? Michael was just like us—a human being who laughed, cried and loved his children unconditionally. What better way to drive that point home than by ending the more than two-hour service with his daughter?”
Word!
Now I say, introduce Paris Jackson to Jaden Smith, and let her start a career in acting if she wants to, playing the Elizabeth Shue (esque) love interest character of Jaden Smith’s Jackie Chan trained, unexpected African American kung fu king… in Will Smith’s The Kung Fu Kid film.
You just know that the remake of The Karate Kid will be hotter to Asians and the world, with Michael Jackson music featuring all through out the film and kung fu raining scenes. Paris Jackson for Hollywood actress… is what I say. That kid’s got strength, she’s brave, she delivers and she loves a show! Just like her dad.
After all, Angelina Jolie is a second generation actor and show biz child. You can’t fight it, or beat it!
WILL MICHAEL JACKSON MUSIC FEATURE IN JADEN SMITH & WILL SMITH’S KUNG FU KID FILM? WE HOPE SO!
Will Smith and his son Jayden Smith are in China scoping out the set for their Karate Kid remake vehicle that stars Jackie Chan. Smith, Smith & Chan have renamed their version, The Kung Fu Kid.
I just hope that when “the kung fu kid” (Jayden Smith) is in training practicing with his kung fu kicks under Chan’s mastery… that the music of Michael Jackson is what this kid gets to train to, in the streets of China.
You know, that’s going to be hot, if this is the case! Michael Jackson always had ‘the kung fu flick kicks’ going on in his dance routines (Whose bad?), which is why all of China and Asia love Michael Jackson music.
Perhaps, the kid is a reluctant hero in the making, who connect with Jackie Chan’s love of Michel Jackson music (Chan being a die hard MJ fan) and that’s what causes the kid to agree to stand up to difference and being bullied in his hood?
If Will Smith as a film producer goes this route, this film will be a sure fire hit. I hope he does. A giant Michael Jackson kung fu, action music video (with dialogue and fight scenes)… now that’s a winner!
JACKIE CHAN TEAMS WITH WILL SMITH & SON: THE KARATE KID BECOMES THE KUNG FU KID IN 2010
What brilliance in furthering Chinese and American relations. Chackie Chan, China’s most well know global star is teaming up with box office gold Will Smith as producer, and his son Jaden Smith to remake The Karate Kid.
Jaden will play the main character, skateboard loving, video game crazy Dre, whose single mother relocates her family to China. As an outsider, who doesn’t know how to speak Chinese, Dre gets bullied and physically beaten because of his difference.
Jackie Chan’s Li Quan Ha mentors Dre in the way of Kung-Fu. (more…)
