Not only did the home chef, home entertainer and culinary arts masterful author top book sales on Amazon.com, she also whipped up book sales fluffier than her pommes j’adore at Barnes&Noble.com.
Child’s book is priced at US$40 and it sold out on Amazon.Com, Monday, after Meryle Streep’s Julia & Julie movie opened at the box office to a #2 spot.

Now that’s one amazing chef! People who are passionate about what they do, like Julia Child was about food and feeding the people that she cared about with home cooked love, are the best souls in the world.
The world has not forgotten Julia Child. Though a tad bit eccentric, what a true culinary American legend.

RACHEL RAY: A TV SYMBOL OF RECESSION MORSELS
Rachel’s Ray Show has been renewed until 2012. Why? After winning a daytime Emmy last year Ray’s show has been nominated for four Emmys this year (Why x 4?)
The answer is… Rachel Ray is responsible for rehabilitating Americans returning back to their kitchens in droves in a recession to cook home meals and save their pennies. Ray has become a symbol of tasty recession morsels on the small screen for the average American.
