Kristen Stewart and Q’orianker Kilcher have Summit Entertainment’s Twilight Eclipse casting in common. Kristen’s casting as Bella Swan for the third film of Stephenie Meyers novels, proves Kristen Stewart is hot enough to make both Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen and Taylor Lautner’s Jacob Black both have chemistry, both onscreen and also in real life, with a cinematic association to the LA actress.
However, when put to public vote, it is Q’orianker Kilcher who is rating today at #1, on the issue of the Twilight Saga’s casting choices. Kilcher, the actress who starred at 14 years of age as Pocahontas in The New World, is the rising star of Horiwood.Com the past two month. My girlfriend Dale, from Wellington New Zealand became a ravishing redhead this week.
She’s pictured here with Sir Wira Gardener, whose a bit of a guru on mapping trends on Maori leadership in our recent times.
One of my favorite, Maori leaders was Sir Apirana Ngata, who bonded one tribe to another to help out in recession like times. A Maori tribe would all move to another tribe’s rohe (tribal area) and develop the hosting tribe’s business potential, then when the host tribe’s biz and industry development was completed, that tribe would then reciprocate the favor in the guest tribe’s home territory.
With a concentrated effort in one particular area of biz development (with double the manpower and womanpower) things got done twice as fast. Together Everyone Achieves More. That’s the true success of Maori leadership in effect.
I hope Sir Wira Gardiner writes a book about Sir Apirana Ngata’s greatness as a leader and includes such inspiring stories in it as well as the modern leadership styles of Maori leadership too.
It would be weird though trying to give an honest perspective from your own opinion on…. well… your own peers. Um, good luck with that Sir Wira!!! But yes, this book needs to happen. Young Maori (hori) upstarts like me, need to be inspired by such a book written by Sir Wira Gardiner. We look to you to write it.
I hope Dale K is in that book. Dale is one of THE BEST Maori leaders I know of. She’s strategic, forward thinking, practical and in touch with where the future is heading. I like her leadership brain. It’s a cultural treasure of New Zealand. She’s also a real gem of a friend too. Lucky, lucky me.

Hollywood is so surreal. You don’t have enough gas in your tank to get home from your 100% commission job in a recession after putting in an 8 hour day and 40 hours for the week. You’re in shock as your eftpost card declines at the gas pump. Every single AP loaded to your bank account must have gone out. But at least you have cable, that American staple of entertainment, at home. You just don’t know how you’re going to get home to watch any of it, unless you push your car along Hollywood Blvd.
Then you go inside to the cashier and your old lottery ticket at the bottom of your wallet, you fish out. It’s crumpled but you straighten it out and hand it over to the Pakistani cashier with fingers crossed and eyes closed. The sound the cashier’s til makes as it opens let’s you know that it is a minor winner at the gas station in that moment. Believe it or not, this is how many young people in Hollywood are living each day, right now. Oh, and people in their 50s and 60s too. George Bush’s governance and Dick Chaney’s ill advice, has totally cost these people their American dream.
Not to worry! Such is the story of Hollywood. But like the lottery ticket today, the city always holds luck, even when you least expect it. You just need to believe that things will be okay, and they do get better. But what a surreal experience!

… Kardashian daughter. So, to beat Kim Kardashian to the punch, young Kourtney stopped taking her birth control pills everyday (“I just forgot to,” she told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show in LA today), so now she is 5 months pregnant to her boyfriend, Scott Disick.
The truth is, Kendra Wilkinson whose married to footballer and Hank Baskett and is pregnant is stealing all of the thunder from the Kardashian family’s reality TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Kendra has it all.
Not to be outdone, Kim Kardashian was supposed to have a wedding with footballer Reggie Bush, and Khloe thought that she’d get pregnant.
However, Kim dropped the ball when Reggie dropped her. So I betKourtney Kardashian is going to do it all. She’s going to soon get married and then have the baby.
Kourtney is kinda determined. The only one really winning from Kourtney’s antics is Ted Harbert who is the executive producer of E! Entertainment who screens both the Kendra show and Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
He’s probably just given Kourtney a big pay rise because the Kardashians just went up on the ratings scale with this news!
Seriously though, we wish Kourtney Kardashian a healthy full term pregnancy. There is a lot of love in the Kardashian family so this baby and Kourt are going to be more than okay. Now it’s up to Khloe Kardashian to do something mad. Kim went blonde this week, Kourtney got preggers, so now it’s Khloe’s turn!
