There’s a lot of money to be made in ‘other people’s talent.’ Simon Cowell is living proof of that. As previously reported Cowell is joining forces with British billionaire Sir Philip Green to set up their own talent TV shows, TopShop.
The New York Post reports that the duo will establish a new production company for the UK and US talent pools. Simon Cowell’s contract with American Idol is in negotiations for renewal, and it looks like Cowell has the upper hand with Fox Networks, to negotiate the best deal ever on American Idol.
A source says, he is on track to be the highest paid TV star. Which means that Oprah is going to start talent shows soon. You just know, Queen O will not be beat when it comes to being the #1 earner on TV.

Everyone’s favorite snarky gay man in a straight man’s body, Cowell, has announced that he’s collaborating Sir Phillip Green, a British retail billionaire (behind The TopShop brand). The duo are hoping to do exactly what Simon Fuller is doing in both the UK and America by developing talent shows.
After watching Cowell and Fuller exploit Susan Boyle so repeatedly in her treatment and handling, it’s now wonder why Cowell is so all up in controlling Susan Boyle’s mix and star power right now. He wants SuBo’s 300 million strong global audiences for his new show.

The UK Sun is reporting, Tuesday, that Simon Cowell and Simon Fuller want more blood from Susan Boyle’s shining star.
What is needed for Boyle right now, is a hit record. She has the global audience numbers to sell a hit record, asap, but Fuller and Cowell continue to ring the last drops of blood out of a golden goose, that is Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle.

There was no way around it for him. Simon Cowell has had to address the mistreatment of Susan Boyle reports that are plaguing him at the organisers of Britain’s Got Talent. The man who reportedly manages talent well, was exposed by Susan Boyle for how he actually grossly mistreats his talent, for his own ends.
In a lengthy editorial written for The UK’s Daily Mail, Cowell details the ways in which he failed Scottish songstress, Susan Boyle.
“I’m the first to hold my hands up and admit I’ve made mistakes,” he writes. “Looking back on it all, it has become clear to me that we didn’t handle the situation with Susan as well as we could have.”
Though it’s nice to see Simon apologize for Boyle’s mistreatment, how Simon Cowell and Simon Fuller, milked Susan Boyle’s global popularity for all it was worth and could be milked for, to their own ends, needs a more clear apology than the drivel he served up to the Daily Mail.
They exploited and robbed Susan of winning the competition, and then preceded to set her up as a victim of meltdown, rather than mistreatment. Meanwhile, it was only because of Susan Boyle that the world gave a remote toss about their show. Cowell was ruthless in pretending that the show had many talented people in it, when really Boyle was the big draw card. She deserves a big check as well as an apology from Cowell and Simon Fuller if the multi-millionaires are truly sorry for how they exploited SuBo!
