Reality TV Land in America, is increasingly putting pressure on A-List film stars popularity and appeal. Reality TV is the fastest moving media television terrain, stars are made after one season (The Jersey Shore Italian-American kids phenomenon here in the US, for example, not to mention all of those “real housewives unite” shows too.
For Donald Trump‘s store front window, Celebrity Apprentice, which he turns up to judge ‘celebrity’ in America, and leveraging the value of his brands, across his investment portfolio by the exposure, it’s tough times to stay ahead of the reality TV game.
What does he do? He turns to the most proven celebrity brand that sells off shore in China and America. That being Michael Jackson, or, namely Michael’s older sister, LaToya Jackson to lead his starring line up of a new season of Celebrity Apprentice.
In particular, in a creative New York tribute to First Lady Michelle Obama, The Donald is going to play star producer, to a line up of African-American women and leading lights. LaToya’s Jackson glitter, he hopes to parlay onto Ms Warwick, to hot up her star power again. Let’s see how that happens in his format. If you can recall, on the Inauguration day of the Obamas, Dionne Warwick was throwing one of the Inauguration Day parties, which then got canceled, Dionne was never heard of again, so it’s kiss and make up time for Warwick perhaps with Camp Obama. That would be the good mannered thing to do, outside of America, in the manners department anyways.

As a Maori and rugby obsessed California resident in Hollywood, such news makes me want to bust out with a haka bro Dionne Warwick tribute really. Like so, just for LaToya’s sweetness. Wild card of this series is supermodel Niki Taylor who bounced back from the dead in a car accident, requiring steel put into her back bone. She could win too. Still a good look for Dionne to be seen supporting and being a big ally and friend of white people surviving tragedy in life – is a great look too -with a Niki upset win.
Actually, that storyline is cooler. But if Dionne or Niki win, I’m all cool with that. Of course, LaToya doesn’t need to win she’s a Jackson, African-American entertainment royalty, and there aint no one that can take that away from her. Here’s that song.

The point of this whole interview from The Donald to US Weekly is that shrewd and sharp are redemptive qualities… apparently. A nice devil’s advocate role played by Donald, in the circus ring that is Jesse and Sandra’s marriage. Please note: In Hollywood, when an actress wants to STOP a circus, she fronts in person and talks to press. When they want to keep the show going, they DON’T. It’s that simple here.

Ivanka Trump and Queen Ranier of Jordon are so classy. With American finesse, Trump, the mogul-in-the-making attended the baby christening of Grace, 8, and Chloe Murdoch, 6, daughter of media mogul Rupert Murdoch and Wendi Deng.
The christening took place on the Jordan River which is believed to be the historic river where John The Baptist originally baptised his first cousin, Jesus Christ almost 2000 years ago.
Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman are the children’s godparents and Keith Urban also attended the event.
After the christening Queen Rania invited her guests on a three day tour of her country and told Hello! magazine, “I am happy to be sharing this land that I love with my friends. We’re a small country but we’re rich with history and culture… Our guests were blown away by the diversity and depth of what Jordan has to offer but, most of all, they told me they were taken in by the warmth and kindness of our people.”
What a beaut story from Jordan, Australia and America this Easter weekend. Scripted by billionaires to ensure their children have spiritual roots as well as capitalist ones, as they grow up. How civilized and wise. Love it.
I also like this post, because my nephew’s name is Jordan –he is a river of dance, life, joy, music, talent. His stage name is Jay-V and his last performance is as a dancer, in the music video for the current #1 song in New Zealand. That can be watched here. As his Uncle Sam I am extremely proud of him. His dreams are also tempered with a strong sense of spirituality, and like the Murdoch children of this story, he has spiritual frames of reference, built into his upbringing too. Miss Beverly Hills, Miss USA, Lauren Ashley has made headlines today, saying that she believes gay men and women should be put to death. She goes on record to say:
“The Bible says that marriage is between a man and a woman,” Ashley told FOX News. “In Leviticus it says, ‘If man lies with mankind as he would lie with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death and their blood shall be upon them.’ The Bible is pretty black and white.”

LOS ANGELES — The legal war between former Miss California USA Carrie Prejean and pageant organizers headed by Keith Lewis is over.
A joint statement released Tuesday says Prejean and the organizers of the pageant reached a confidential settlement on dueling lawsuits.
Prejean sued Miss California USA organizers in August for libel, slander and religious discrimination. She accused them of telling her to stop mentioning God even before her controversial remarks against gay marriage.
Prejean was fired in June after pageant officials accused her of missing events, an allegation that she denied. The pageant countersued Prejean last month.
The statement says Prejean and the pageant “wish each other the best in their future endeavors.”
The next Miss California USA will be crowned Nov. 22.
