In other news, young Disney-spun singer Demi Lovatotakes the heat off her buddy Miley Cyrus’ parents’ alleged divorce scandal –by finishing her world tour early and clocking into rehab. The reasons given by her rep are (as obtained from TMZ.com) ‘Demi almost punched one of her dancer’s out’, then this: “Demi Lovato left her tour early this weekend in order to seek medical treatment for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time,” the statement read. “Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that. [Demi] regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future.”
This girl is probably needed to hang out with her bestie at this time. At least she quit her tour: a) a little bit ‘bad *ss rocker chick’ and b) with a very ‘Hollywood’ exit answer of ‘I’m not Disney perfect.’ Works a charm here. Rehab always sells an album when a star is in treatment.
The reasons Demi gives could apply to half the people in Hollywood City right now (or NYC, if you read the dailys and all the Obama whiplash hating going on). Who doesn’t have emotional issues on some level, in a yo-yo economy intersecting with “who are we now” intense self cultural-examination, underpinning a cultural revolution of introspection before rebuilding, the new.
I think Demi’s put herself right in the center of how people are feeling with her responsible reason of quitting her tour. She’s so much more relatable now. Not a kid, who wears the Mouse House’s ears. And when she gets out of rehab, she’ll transfer her new grown up outlook in life, onto her pal, Miley by hanging out with her a lot. It’s just how friends roll in this town for each other. You support, you block, you team up–to win.
This is Hollywood, so Demi will probably be cast in a kick-A action film, next. Like a ‘vengeance girl, fights back’ action storyline.
Wishing her all the best. She’s a tough kid. You have to be, to survive Hollywood, let alone Disney (eg: Timberlake, Spears, Cyrus all have too).

This morning when I woke up catching the sunlight on the front steps of my apartment, Tyrone, a black kid and my neighbor, asked me for $15 bucks for his school prom night and a Kool cigarette.
He had promised his prom date that he’d buy her corsage for the night. As he was trying to keep his promise, how could I say no. Granted. Tyrone is always so smart. A good kid.
Later on in the day, I was thinking while I was shucking down on ribs at Baby Blue BBQ in the West Hollywood hood, of how a promise is a powerful thing.
I originally came to America to help promote a romantic comedy film, about a kept promise that two children made to each other, that Romeo (of the tale) set out on a journey to honor, when he got older. It remains to this day, a film I love.
Now, feeling like a bloated pig for overeating all day, I came across this post of Demi Lovato. It really touched my heart. Here’s the star of Camp Rock 2 following through on “a promise she once made in kindergarten” as she accompanys her buddy Nolan Narddechia to his prom in Dallas, Texas, on May 15.
Doesn’t Demi Lovato rock? A cute story. Loyalty is a beautiful thing. Go Demi Lovato! And on that note, Tyrone better not come home wasted drunk tonight after prom either, or I will have to mollywhop that lil’ brotha upside the head. Worse… tell his grandma! Ouch. :)

Talking to Just Jared (via digital spy), Demi Lovato says Miley Cyrus is the sweetest friend in the biz to turn to for advice. Says Lovato:
“Miley has been in the spotlight longer than I have, so I go to her. I can text her that I’m crying and stressed out, and she’ll reply back, ‘All right, here’s what you do’. She’s the sweetest thing in the world.”
I have to agree with Demi Lovato, Hollywood’s baby bird, Miley Cyrus is the sweetest thing in the world. She’s got grunt, she’s sweet and in my book, she’s adorable!
It has to be said about Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas new puppy love dating in Church environments, that for Italian-American young entertainers, they are both so atypical to the Jersey Shore guido and guidettes lot, aren’t they?

Thanks to Miley Cyrus friendship, an orchestrated ‘dumping’ via Twitter with Miley’s brother Trace Cyrus, (which strummed up a wave of public sympathy amongst gullible tweens), Disney’s Demi Lovato has the #1 album in America this week. Lovato’s album debuted at #1 on Billboard’s 200, moving over 107,000 units.

Demi Lovato and Trace Cyrus of Metro Station were tweeting to each other with very warm and friendly messages on twitter over the last two weeks. But it appears that their twitter ‘relationship’ has ended.
Playing different venues and both trying to get careers off the ground, should perhaps be their priorities and not doing the full on dating thing.
Having Miley Cyrus as a sister, and best friend in Lovato’s case perhaps doesn’t help the matter. Both Trace and Demi are competing for musical success on the par of Miley, but they don’t have the amount of Disney’s marketing money behind them to achieve Miley’s level of fame.
Perhaps the notion of teaming up, to be a power couple in tween music was a good idea. Sadly, that idea is already burnt through. I hope Lovato remains good friends with the Cyrus clan. She’s a honey! And perhaps the Cyrus clan, need to be a little bit more aware of the effect of their fame on their “friends.”
It’s a learning curve, but you don’t want a reputation as a family, for burning everyone who comes too close to the family! It’s not True Blood, guys!!

If this report is to be believed from Variety Magazine (a reputable source of entertainment news) then Miley Cyrus is set to Team up with Aussie man Hugh Jackman for a new movie, that is similar to Whitney Houston’s and Kevin Costner’s blockbuster film, The Bodyguard.
The report says says the Aussie and the tween star will appear in the film, titled Personal Security.
The plotline centers around a New York police detective who, like in the Diseny TV movie The Princess Protection Progam (starring Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez) the young starlet is forced to need her life protected. Jackman’s character is allegedly “forced into bodyguard duty for a spoiled teen heiress who has received a kidnap threat.”
In America we love Disney kids. Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are perhaps two of the most famous Disney kids around.
Hit made for TV movie, The Princess Protection Program showcases the lifelong friendship of Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez, who met when they were kids.
