Reports have surfaced that Jay-Z has picked Usher as his recommend to fill the famous sing and dance performance shoes of the late Michael Jackson.
Firstly, even a non-rocket scientist could have done that. Secondly; even the Jackson family asked Usher to sing at MJ’s funeral. Thirdly; Usher is the best live singer dancer male performer in the US in the mode of MJ. After Usher it is definitely Bad Boy, Chris Brown. But of course, Jay-Z would never say that. America perhaps finds Usher to be a bit more palatable at the moment. One day, it will be Chris Brown’s turn again. In the meantime, let’s see what music Usher creates that is MJ worthy before we hype him out of oblivion and beyond. :)

As noted on Horiwood.com previously, Tiger Woods is the new Chris Brown of entertainment for what he did to wife, Ellen Nordegren‘s heart this week. Horny little bunny rabbit of the golfing green that he is. :)

Now that Tiger Woods has taken over Chris Brown‘s title of woman abuser and heart decimator in a relationship, it’s kind of safe to give this brotha a bit of a break…
On 20/20 Brown gave an interview, which aired today on Good Morning America. Here’s what Chris had to say about Rihanna.
“I was wrong for what I did. And I would definitely say that it’s not something that I look past or look over. [It's] something that’s really, really touchy. And, like I said, I’m really sorry for what went down, and [for] what happened.”
He sounds sorry. What do you think? It’s hard to believe that Tiger Woods is like how Chris Brown once viewed women. As property. Sad. Thankfully Brown is moving on.

Although she would never take Chris Brown back, pop star Rihanna says that she still likes her exes music. Talking to Atlanta 100 radio station, the Barbadian beauty says:
“When it comes on the radio I don’t frown or turn [Chris Brown's music] off, I just … listen. I like his music,” she said. “I’ve gotten over [Chris] but there are definitely constant reminders, and a lot of that comes from listening to his songs.”
Meanwhile Chris Brown’s first probation reports since his assault of Rihanna has been favorable reports USA Today.
At his first checkup hearing since being sentenced for attacking Rihanna in February, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg said she had received “an extremely favorable progress report” on him from the probation department. Good on Chris Brown! But back to Rihanna.
Fenty denies rumored reports that she’s dating 90210 actor, Tristan Wilds, are not true. So not true that “I don’t even have his number,” says Rihanna.
She says Tristan did come to a house party she hosted, and that they hung out, but that’s it and she’s definitely not in a romantic-minded space right now.
“No. I’m a very flirty girl, though,” she said, laughing. “I don’t think I have the time or the energy for a relationship. It’s like another career, really.”
Sounds like America’s next hottest thing in pop music since Beyonce, has a lot of hangers-on trying to attach themselves to her hot mix. Nice to see that this Hollywood Hills resident can handle the jandal though, quite well. Love her.

“While I respect Rihanna’s right to discuss the specific events of February 8, I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us. I do appreciate her support and wish her the best.
I am extremely sorry for what I did, and I accept accountability for my actions. At this point, I am taking the proper steps to learn about me and grow from my mistakes. I only hope that others in similar situations can learn from our experience as well. Abuse of any kind is always wrong. The rest I leave it to God.”

These days Chris Brown is ordered by court order to stay 100 yards away from pop star Rihanna Fenty at all times.
This hasn’t stopped Chris from tweeting his feelings and regrets about losing the Barbadian exotic beauty: “For the fellahs, showing emotion doesn’t make you weak… being honest makes you strong.”
Chris Brown is the man in American entertainment, who can perform the most like the late Michael Jackson live in concert. Usher too. Let’s hope life gets better for Brown as his regrets hit him 10 months after he hit Rihanna.

Whether we love these lads, loathe them, or love-loathe them, one thing is certain–both on and off music’s stage–these two men have brought some of the biggest stories in entertainment this year.
As Beyonce sings of her husband Jay-Z: “he’s gotta big ego, he walk like dis–but he can back it up.” Let’s hope these brothers learn from Jay-Z and become more like him. Humility, like Jay-Z is not being afraid to be known for who you really are–a great. But actions must follow proclamaitions about one’s sense of self. Kanye and Chris Brown can learn a lot from Jay-Z.
However, we all learn from our mistakes. Grace is a beautiful thing. It allows men, to restart and do things right. All the best Chris Brown on your road back to success and wholeness. Chris Brown is disturbia personified. Turning up on Larry King, resembling Steve Urkel, the troubled r n’ b singer, who has been sentenced to 5 years of probation for his domestic violence assault of the pop star Rihanna, tells King that he can’t remember hitting Rihanna.
Perhaps it’s a case of post traumatic stress disorder, if we are to believe Chris Brown. One minute he was on top of the world of music and entertainment (R N B’s rising young star). The next minute at the hands of his fists, he’d lost his girlfriend and friend, Rihanna; his music career was put on hiatus, and he found himself facing sentencing in court. These traumas to his life, over the habit of his temper via his fists could drive a young man to try and block out the fateful incident, on February 8th.
However, in order to learn from one’s mistakes, it’s a good idea, to actually remember doing the mistake first, and the road to recovery starts from there.
The Steve Urkel outfit is kind of cute, but it does not block the disturbing news, that if Chris Brown says he “can’t remember” assaulting his woman, than perhaps he’s going to do it again, and play exactly the same card. Shocking!
At least he’s honest, but this guy needs some major parental love to restore that memory of his. Nice to see his mother sitting beside him. But she shouldn’t be enabling Chris to forget his wrongs. Parents…. you’ve just gotta love ’em. A great interview though from Larry King.

Hollywood is so surreal. You don’t have enough gas in your tank to get home from your 100% commission job in a recession after putting in an 8 hour day and 40 hours for the week. You’re in shock as your eftpost card declines at the gas pump. Every single AP loaded to your bank account must have gone out. But at least you have cable, that American staple of entertainment, at home. You just don’t know how you’re going to get home to watch any of it, unless you push your car along Hollywood Blvd.
Then you go inside to the cashier and your old lottery ticket at the bottom of your wallet, you fish out. It’s crumpled but you straighten it out and hand it over to the Pakistani cashier with fingers crossed and eyes closed. The sound the cashier’s til makes as it opens let’s you know that it is a minor winner at the gas station in that moment. Believe it or not, this is how many young people in Hollywood are living each day, right now. Oh, and people in their 50s and 60s too. George Bush’s governance and Dick Chaney’s ill advice, has totally cost these people their American dream.
Not to worry! Such is the story of Hollywood. But like the lottery ticket today, the city always holds luck, even when you least expect it. You just need to believe that things will be okay, and they do get better. But what a surreal experience!
