I just spoke to my Maori mom on the phone wishing her and dad a very Merry California Christmas.
She was sooooooo excited to hear my voice in a way only a Maori mom is.
Hot topics of conversation were: Mom warning me about the perils of “Facebook oversharing.” Heavens forbid!
Mom is in her 70′s and she goes to see Bono live at U2 concerts and holidays in Paihia that is rark-it-up seaside resort township for New Year’s eve of New Zealand each year… so mom did make me laugh about Facebook. Apparently many of my beautiful, talented, breeding and entertaining family are having family Christmas in a New Zealand top secret Christmas party location, right at this minute. So… I just might have to ring into that party real soon, like So Undercover via the telephone via the top secret telephone number given to me by mom, and spice it up the party a little. ;)
To all my family/ whanau all friends in Christchurch, in Melbourne, in Papakura, in Beverly Hills, in Arizona, in China, at PPL HQ, in New Zealand, in Malibu, in Auckland The Supercity, on Catalina Island, in Westwood, in California, in Wellington and in Helensville –Mere Kirihimete, I love you and God bless.

Funniest part of this poster – “TECHNICOLOR” in CAPS. That must of been quite a moment as we now have 3D-making skills in both Hollywood and Wellywood now. The moving industry is going off! Good to see.
Happy Halloween tribe Catalina and Malibu – 2010. May the happiest of family times in life be yours ahead. :)

Today we celebrated the one and only, Miss Elliette‘s birthday. Her biggest fans as far afield from Hollywood as New Zealand, called in to wish her a special day.
For the Lady of California responsible for pioneering Chiffon couture, that dressed the 50 states of America, the Middle East, Princess Dianna and Asia, for being America’s Chiffon Angel with courage, finesse, color, beauty and elegant flow we salute you, on your birthday as our living legend of Lady Liberty’s grace. Along with her sisters, daughters, nieces and family, Miss Elliette is American Chiffon Fashion Royalty.
For any American woman, who ever entered the world of business with a fashion label, Miss Elliette is their original Architect.
To celebrate her birthday and her many gifts in her life that she gave to the American people as an artist, here’s a woman that reflects Miss Elliette’s same spirit as a working mother, who also conquered with determination, passion, hard work devotion, excellence, focus and elegance. Along with Zoe Saldana of Avatar, this unique woman shares the title of Hollywood’s Queen of the box office. Here’s Angelina Joliedemonstrating the Californian Art of Hollywood’s iconic, chiffon legs strut today in Tokyo.
Jolie demonstrates an American artform of chiffon, that Miss Elliette designed, created, accelerated and made her star signature fashion statement of liberty, defining a sexy expression of American glamour and the liberation of women’s sexy style that women welcomed with elated comfort.
Happy 87th birthday, sweetheart. Timeless, you’re one of a kind. Everyone who knows you loves you, admires and adores you. Rock on! Let’s go ladies. Up!
Hari huri tau ki a koe, Te Kuini o Nga Kakahu Putiputi Ataahua o Te Ao. Arohatinonui. Thank you.
Always a Queen, Miss Elliette celebrated her birthday at lunch sitting opposite her Author King with a glass of her favorite pink champagne. Cute.

~”I’m gonna stand out here on the mountain top/Till I feel your [Rain]… And now I’ll wait for the light, I’ll wait for the sun/ Till I feel your [Rain]“–Madonna
The 80′s were years of think big, bold, colorful thoughts. You couldn’t help but grow and expand with creativity. Symbols inspiring big thoughts were everywhere. Today Google are celebrating the 80′s by turning google’s logo into the PacMan video game. Fun. Pacman is universally loved as entertainment–as light relief to pass the time, especially in India and China–so that’s a smart move to expand Microsoft’s global audience appeal with this logo. Fun sells.
And as Horiwood.Com is celebrating the life of Aunt Elvira as a Mother of Los Angeles industry and women of business development in The City of Angels revolutionary formative years of American women’s pioneering legends of modern American business, here’s 80′s pop icon, Madonna with her song, Rain.
Alright this is one for my next door neighbor Peter in West Hollywood and also for my Island fan club on Horiwood.Com. Heya!
Yesterday when I meandered along to see the great arts exhibition at the Brewery Art Walk in Downtown LA, my friend laughed at me because when I saw this artwork titled Genetic Alterations, I thought it was a series of the Canadian maple leaf. Yeah, doh, dumb! As well as needing an eye test, asap. I was caught off guard, as I forgot that maijuana is like… nature’s art too. Lol!
Then today when as I was leaving the house, my next door neighbor Peter, who smokes marijuana all day long, seven days a week (he has a prescription for it and apparently its his medication) asked me what the date was today. “It’s 4.20.2010 today” was my reply.
Peter laughed his stoned no-no off, saying… “That’s right it’s 4-20 day today… and every day is a 4-20 day.” As he thought this was so funny, I laughed the most I have in months–because today was his day to celebrate of any day this year. He’s a character and he reminded me of Christine Caldwell’s artwork as a photographer whose more intrigued by photographic process more than anything.
