Star sighting: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were spotted shopping in a Namibian mall while on Christmas vacations there with their whanau (family). Four years ago the fun-loving mischief one of their brood, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt (it’s genetic as Alecia Moore would sing in a rock concert with her black music director at the helm wowing the USA on tour, who did not have a white cap put on him) was born in this nation of beautiful people. Nice to see Namibia get a shout out from Hollywood’s reigning star couple this year.

1 bilion people in the world don’t have access to clean drinking water. Yet we are made up of 63% H2O as people. I think true celebrity is about whose moving water flows in the world. It’s as simple as something like that.

DEMOCRACY IN HOLLYWOOD BLOGGING AS FRESH CULTURE BEING SHARED AND TEN SOCIAL MEDIA SHARED POSTS – 12.22.10
Angelina Jolie is always a face people like to share via social media. And Shania Twain proves that maturity can only occur with forgiveness–the sweetest revenge of all is growing up in love–forgiving people who try and mangle that desire to love and be loved in us all, is key as Shania proves! She is a total winner.
In addition to Angelina Jolie being the most shared face and name of this blog in Hollywood across 2010 here’s some other thoughts too.
The thing about Hollywood blogging and working at it 24-7 in Hollywood is that surprising discoveries occur daily. Like the fact that all these names and topics are being bumped on via social media too right now creating culture that’s fresh in the USA with every fresh bump of information transparently shared freely. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I do believe that is clear evidence of democracy at large. Love it. I was just about to get a rubber stamp made with my signature on it to give away to Republican politicians for Christmas (each stamp gift boxed wrapped with a dog collar made for British bull dogs) as their fantasy gift to affirm their whole gig as puppets of a political system. In their gig they sit in The House in 2011, waiting to be bullies like greedy-gutted ankle biting, annoying dogs, who are told to not stop barking until ink has been signed from a half black man’s hand that they rudely and publically disrespect and despise (the current look of US politics has been reduced to that look, sadly–evidence of racism still needing its head lopped off before it spreads and poisons a new generation of Americans again). However, because democracy is still alive and well as these shared posts prove, I don’t have to get the rubber stamp now.
Maybe gifting some boxing gloves to Barack instead would be a far more wiser, cost-saving investment. Keeping those gloves on his hands at all times, instead of signing Republican bills in the house–would be far more entertaining and just.
I will be doing more Pro-Obama news posts though just to give you the prior heads up in advance– every time America’s President stands up for himself in 2011.

The globetrotting Jolie-Pitt family will be having a fun Christmas this year. Talking to Ryan Seacrest on his KIISFM radio show today (Friday) Angelina Jolie confesses, “We’re going to travel with the kids and go to a random part of the world. We’re going to travel and have an adventure because that’s what we love to do.”
Jolie says her famous brood’s Christmas prezzies are all in the bag this year. ”I’ve got it all boxed and ready to go. I’m trying to get every stocking right.”
A nice touch from a woman whose giving more to Hollywood this decade over and above the call of duty, than any other Hollywood female face you can think of. Let’s hope Angelina and Brad both have a good Christmas themselves this year. Creating fun family memories is always the best Christmas present of all.

JOHNNY DEPP AND ANGELINA JOLIE LEAD GOLDEN GLOBE NOMINATIONS
World News: Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie and Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck say they’re touched and honored to be nominated for several Golden Globe awards for their film The Tourist in the best picture, best musical comedy actor and actress.
Depp, also earned a nod for Alice in Wonderland said he was”very touched” by the double nomination.
Jolie said to be nominated was an honor, then with humor added “we were laughing because it’s the first time that I’ve been in the comedic category so it’s new for me.”
German director von Donnersmarck said he was happy with the nomination for “The Tourist,” his second film, which opened in the U.S. last week to generally poor reviews.
Not to worry, in tough times, people like to take down the big guns. It makes them feel better. Outside of the US, it will be a different story for this film, no doubt.

THE ELISE DOLL – PART II
This second photo of The Elise Doll is even more funnier than the first photograph of this plastic likeness of Angelina Jolie selling on eBay.
Elise means: “The name Elise comes from the French origin. In French The meaning of the name Elise is: Consecrated to God. An abbreviation of Elisabeth, derived from a French diminutive of Elizabeth.” The name is beautiful. A bit of a waste on a doll although I’m sure the name will be a popular babies name this year and next.
The doll does look like a cross between Jolie and Kate Middleton just a bit.That adds a whole new angle all of a sudden.

Transparency is like refined gold, it has to be earned, tested with trust. So, I like people who endeavor to display a transparent spirit as leaders who serve the best interests of all, hence this quote running on this blog: ”In my time as Prime Minister I have tried to push for greater transparency, and we are happy to have an independent body overseeing expenses and entitlements for MPs [politicians], says New Zealand’s leader from Wellywood/ Wellington,”John Key 3 News. Information is like water flow. It often doesn’t flow to the right people who need to have it. Knowledge equals power. Africa needs water. What do we do this knowledge?
Transparency is good in any sincere culture but discretion is a part of wisdom too: ‘Do not let the left hand know what the right hand is doing… Be as wise as a serpent and as harmless as a dove… A wise man conceals a matter.’
Often people who expect others to be transparent are not themselves–so good men and naturally transparent people–are forced to be wise and manage their own information about themselves, like a cultural taonga of New Zealand belonging to the collective people of Aotearoa New Zealand. Each nation is a knowledge farm of fruitful minds.
Here in America, today - Shiloh Jolie-Pitt has already worked out what her parents do and wants to follow in their footsteps already as a performer turning out a show. “Shi’Bouncy” couldn’t be happier with her baseball bat and military attire as mother Angelina Jolie, sister Zahara and Maddox go to Lee’s Art Store themselves in Manhattan, New York to shop before they imagine and create as artists. Too cute. This family is on the attack today from haters not in Jolie’s league, or, all of her children either. Love it. Maddox Jolie-Pitt has been a star longer than many people claiming to be celebs today. He was born this way. A star.
Jolie’s statement today could be–Our best art, is serving our children, to be informed by their worldview, creating their art. In any culture, isn’t that always the truth.

Angelina Jolie wants everyone to know she loves fish, fish and more fish. She can’t get enough fish and she wants all of her children to see fish swim in Aquariums. I wonder if there were any salmon in that fishy aquarium in Paris, France.
Yesterday Jolie took her two eldest daughters and son Pax to Paris Aquarium for a day trip. Today she took her twin son, Knox on his own special outing to the Aquarium for quality mother and son, fishy time.
On the way, Jolie didn’t seemed perturbed by the falling snow at this magical time of year in Paris France.

SHILOH JOLIE-PITTS ZEBRA BOOTS AT A PARIS AQUARIUM
Young Shiloh Jolie-Pitt turned heads and hearts as she stepped out in her zebra patterned boots on a family trip in Paris to an Aquarium. Zahara, who turns six in January, wore black leggings tucked into black boots, a black puffa jacket and her hair pulled-up into cute bunches either side of her head.
The Jolie-Pitts are in Paris supporting Brad whose promoting his new animated film Metroman reports The Daily News, UK.

RIHANNA, JULIAN ASSANGE, BARONESS SCOTLAND, “INFORMATION SHARING, OVERSHARING” AND “ESPIONAGE” VS “FREE SPEECH”–AS HOT BUZZ WORDS FROM AMERICA AND THE UK
celebrity buzzwords: Julian Assange Vs Angelina Jolie, now Vs Rihanna.
As humans, as people–we look over the fence at our neighbors, in a game of keeping up with the Joneses. The fear of being left behind, or missing out–is the basis of spying–be that polite, or secretive in the form of Espionage.
In fact, there is no trend-setting ability of leaders (fashions mimic others by spying), without observing what peers are doing, than advancing new or similar forms and better ways of doing things.
But when does research–verge into Espionage? Where is that line? Or does it not exist anymore in an age of new technology? The WikiLeaks case gives us all time to discuss that–on Facebook, a community far bigger than WikiLeaks, holding more information about individuals, than WikiLeaks ever could claim to hold.
Julian Assange of Wikileaks is the pin up boy of “Common Similarities between the US and the UK” that still exist today. Will this one man’s fate be decided by a US/ UK jury? His crime? He is a spy of spies because he owned IT that could track others spying tendencies in an obsessively voyeuristic political digital age–where most people don’t even watch politicians in the world, at all. Only other politicians do? Julian shared these politicians favorite (digital) media to read with other media. Anyway,
According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary Espionage is defined as being: ”the practice of spying or using spies to obtain information about the plans and activities especially of a foreign government or a competing company.” The origins of espionage is French, as in:
“French espionnage, from Middle French, from espionner to spy, from espion spy, from Old Italian spione, from spia, of Germanic origin; akin to Old High German spehōn to spy. First Known Use: 1793.”
We are also encouraged to look at the word “spy” as in: “to watch secretly, usually for hostile purposes; and, to catch sight of or, SEE. Spying is the active activity of espionage. Who really, has time to do that? No one whose creative that’s for sure, only people copy, others creativity. (I’m a blogger, so at times I can be accused of that. Just saying).
The Espionage Act: According to the UK Guardian: “The US Espionage Act is a little-used law dating from 1911 – the same year as the UK’s Official Secrets Act, with which it has much in common.”
The current law can be used to prosecute those who leak and publish classified information that creates a national security risk. The law’s purpose is to tackle espionage. It has never been used on foreign press or any media organization before.

“Angelina was great. She’s patient, and a very hands-on mother, making certain everything fits,” tells an onlooker to People Magazine, at a report that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took their children shopping. Brad was described as being “an agreeable” doting dad.
The report also says: Hollywood’s star couple “took daughters Zahara and Shiloh holiday shopping in Paris Saturday and it looks like they’ll be able to check quite a few things off their gift list, including pants, pajamas, gloves, sweaters, boots, stuffed animals, knights’ costumes (complete with tunics, swords and shields) and one large green plastic alligator, according to staff at the Bonpoint boutique on rue de Tournon near the Luxembourg Gardens.”

ANGELINA JOLIE CO-CREATES HER OWN KIDS BOOKS
The latest from Bluewater Productions Comics, stable of cartoonizing famous people with audiences is this edition of Angelina Jolie in comic book form.
Now Angelina Jolie’s nannies can read Hollywood’s leading box office lady’s children relevant kids books while Jolie is at work filming her next movie. Jolie joins authors and film franchise visionary mothers, J.K Rowling and Stephenie Meyer as a Bluewater Productions comic profile.
It has to be said that Bluewater are looking after their Asia cross-over markets better than most companies, with Angie as their latest comic book profile. When you think about it, cartoons of Asians, of Jews, etc have been used in ugly war efforts of the past to demean human beings. To have stars put their hands up to be novel as cartoon ‘stereotypes’ is a good thing in light of this history. I’m all for it. All power to these leading lady lights, I reckon as cartoon books. The weird thing is, these cartoon characters as ‘super heroes’ of sorts, are– “real.”
Smart or a little bit spooky?
AN ALLEGED SOURCE OF ANGELINA JOLIE SAYS SHE WON’T CELEBRATE THANKSGIVING
Popeater is making big claims today, stating: “Angelina Jolie hates this holiday [Thanksgiving] and wants no part in rewriting history like so many other Americans,” a friend of the actress tells [Popeater's website owner, or so the website claims].
“To celebrate what the white settlers did to the native Indians, the domination of one culture over another, just isn’t her style. She definitely doesn’t want to teach her multi-cultural family how to celebrate a story of murder.”
“Angelina gets so grossed out by Thanksgiving that she has made sure her family will not be in America this year on Thursday,” claims the site.
First up, filming abroad means just that. Filming away from the US as Jolie is doing with her Untitled War Love Story movie. Secondly, Marlon Brando, a fellow oscar winner said it the best at the Oscars one year via a messenger. It’s very Hollywood to discuss maltreatment of Indigenous people for A-List actors who have little to lose in bringing attention to this.
My feelings are if we abuse Inidgenous People on any landscape, this sets a pattern to abuse all other people on the same landscape unless we get that right. Indigenous Peoples struggles (like native American Indians struggles) are a key theme on this blog too. Go here to read Marlon’s words.
Meanwhile in India (the country), Popeater’s equivalent One India, is obsessing over the possibility that there’s an Angelina Jolie Temple in the world famous Angkor Complex of Cambodia. Her PR machine is in overdrive today–even without her doing a thing.
I can’t see Brad Pitt going without a turkey dinner. I mean, this is the guy who got his start in Hollywood dressing as an El Polo Loco chicken, so whatevz. I love the message of Indigenous Peoples concerns though. Poignant at this time of year. Jolie often plays the role of “The Teacher” for America. This year, she brings a history lesson and questions hypocrisy, if these comments are at all to be believed as if she actually said them– and to be taken seriously.
The world’s new star system is anyone whose leading by “thinking green for the environment” and “thinking Indigenous Peoples concerns”–the most trusted (and perhaps emotionally invested) guardians of any nation’s national resources and their people. They live in dialogue with the earth, similar to how the people of James Cameron‘s Avatar do.

BOSNIA’S EMOTIONAL TRANSFERENCE ISSUES AND ANGELINA JOLIE DECIDES TO FILM IN HUNGARY
So much about being a leader today, is allowing yourself to be a target of others emotional transference issues of past grievances.
You can see this occurring with the Obamas right now as leaders of America. It’s also occurring with debut film director Angelina Jolie in Bosnia.
Reports The Associated Press: “ARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina — Angelina Jolie has cut short the shooting of her first movie in Bosnia, her producer said, after rumors that it portrayed a relationship between a rapist and his victim sparked protests from women assaulted during the Bosnian War.
Jolie had originally planned to shoot scenes for her movie for about ten days in Bosnia, but now her crew will film the scenes in just three or four days, said Edin Sarkic, Jolie’s Bosnian producer. Jolie herself will only briefly visit the set, he said.
The change of plans came after rumors surrounding the movie’s storyline angered an association of women raped during the war in Bosnia who heard the film was about a rape victim falling in love with her rapist. They pressured city officials to withdraw Jolie’s filming permit in October.
Mass rape was a taboo topic in the immediate aftermath of the country’s 1992-95 war between Serb and Bosnian Muslim forces but since then victims have formed a group to campaign for their rights, which has become one of the country’s most powerful lobbies.”
There’s only so much a friend can take. Being a leader is always about being a friend. To put yourself into a hot seat of heated underlying debate and humanitarian issues, is something that Angelina Jolie excels at. She loves drawing out controversy and getting people talking as a part of their remedial recovery as nations of people, by just turning up and putting a spotlight on them as ‘a tourist.’
Barack Obama on the other hand, has it tougher. You can’t be a tourist in your own nation, so I feel sorry for him as he’s copping every racial slur in the book, every religious bigoted fear and slur as well –in addition to being castigated for previous governance models, extraction of cash from the average American person–who pay for an elite order of peoples sense of entitlement, further compounding America’s debt situation.
All of the attacks on Obama are largely due to facilitating ‘emotional transference issues’ of the American people on this man, his wife and family. However, it’s not like he can do an Angelina Jolie, and ‘quit a tough location’ by taking leadership somewhere else a little easier. The article, offers readers a rare glimpse inside the Jolie-Pitt household with its six kids, bulldog named Jacques and nannies who speak Vietnamese to Pax and Cambodian to Maddox. With good humor, Hollywood’s leading lady claims that 9 year-old son Maddox raised her. Lol! Love it.

Conclusion – When you’re Angelina Jolie, America wants every part of you to mimic as a celebrity. They’ll lift it off you, with or without your consent. Unreal. Vultures with scalpels to make bank. Nasty greedy-gutted capitalist creatures. Jokes.
Seriously, this advertisement is plain scary. Firstly, convincing a young girl to get ahead by going under the scalpel to look like Jolie. And secondly, actually doing that as a surgeon. Promoting it even. I know Hitler is long since dead and this is not Nazi Germany, this is Hollywood, but what is this advertisement saying about society in general?
Sheepers creepers! Is this taking ‘art’ and pop culture a little bit too far? America’s natural diversity is at threat. We can’t have everyone looking like a young Zsa Zsa and Eva Gabor or Jolie either. Respect for one’s parent’s genes is needed, I reckon! :)

My Maori-Kiwi Helensville-raised mom is in her 70′s and is so excited when talking on the telephone that U2 are performing not too far from her Whangarei City hood in Auckland The Supercity soon.
She really wants to go and see Bono, The Edge and the lads live. Gorgeous Maori – Kiwi mums, they’re always too much fun!Where fun is, that’s where they can be found. Fun people need to be recharged with fun too. Mom knows where it’s at! Go Mom! :)
