MSN News reports: Nicole Kidman has spoken candidly about battling depression in the wake of her divorce from Tom Cruise in 2001 via Who Magazine.
Kidman, 45, says she did struggle after the breakdown of her 10-year marriage to the Hollywood star.
“I got married really fast and really young,” Nicole revealed. But I don’t regret that because it got me [adopted children] Bella and Connor and I did have a fantastic marriage for a long period.
“Then when it didn’t work out I had to really dig deep and find my way through depression. I have no regrets about all of it. It was all part of growing up.”
Nicole elaborated on her personal turmoil following the highly public split. “There were times following [the divorce] when I thought, ‘Wow, this is the loneliest, loneliest existence,’” she told Who.

JEF HOLM & CODY BAKER ARE WATER POSING BIG TIME! – PEOPLE WATER USA PR HUMOR
The Mid-West of the USA is suffering from severe drought at the time of writing. Other nations in the world are too.
People Water is one of the top twenty topics being obsessed about in the USA right now. When I lived in Los Angeles, Nicole Richie was doing a lot of awareness about water’s importance in the world. Reality TV – Charity Work pairings USA: The Huffington Post reports: The Bachelorette winner Jef Holm (see Newsday) isn’t your typical skinny-jeans-wearing-overly-idealistic skateboarding hipster — he’s actually making things happen to create. After announcing an engagement to Emily Maynard and a relocation too, Jef’s too much. He’s off to dig wells in Africa.
Although I think, why doesn’t Jef just stay put in the USA and dig water wells in the Mid-West instead; if Africa is where Jef wants to help find water too, good on him.

In Hollywood News: Less than two weeks after Katie Holmes filed for divorce, the actress and Tom Cruise have reached a settlement.

DWAYNE JOHNSON IS NAMED FORBES 3RD A-LISTED EARNING ACTOR
Dwayne The Rock Johnson checked in on Forbes Top 100 as the 3rd highest earning actor for the last year. The Rock earned US$34 million for his days on set at the office and touring promoting his films. Not bad at all.
In first place was box-office wrestler, Tom Cruise, with a [declared] earnings of $75 million. In second equal position was Leonardo DiCaprio and Happy Gilmour funnyman Adam Sandler both earning $37 million. Ben Stiller earned $34 million. Sacha Baron Cohen and Johnny Depp, Will Smith took $30 million. Mark Wahlberg earned $27 million.

On Tuesday, Tom Cruise turns 50. Saddening timing was his divorce news with Katie Holmes. Katie, 33, is the one to watch as the stars’ divorce is the tabloid generator mid-year, feeding USA’s lucrative media and entertainment markets.
So far, Katie’s PR team’s spin is all ’independant woman,’ ‘child is top priority,’ ‘parents happy she’s happy,’ ’will wrestle boxes and unpack too’ - while ‘moving charming daughter into Manhattan apartment’ etc. Action, action. action. Women all over the world (including the Mid-East) have their eyes glued to Katie Holmes right now. Katie is definitely on Independence Day duties in the USA this year.
What about Tom?
He’s already got good early Oscars buzz this year, however for Tom Cruise - most journalists have reported the surprise of a ’wife gone in a jiffy angle,’ noting: ”His wife’s filing appeared to come as a shock to Cruise” as Tom is filming Oblivion in Iceland with the mantis, Morgan Freeman.
Incidentally Katie Holmes was raised Catholic, but converted to Scientology when she wedded Tom as a demure child bride of the American pie favorite drama series, Dawson’s Creek. Anyway, more Sushi Samba expedition news here.

ALIENS ON THE HORIZON – TOM CRUISE’S 2013 MOVIE PROJECT
Tom Cruise is to star in a sci-fi epic due for release in July of 2013 entitled Horizons. The $100 million movie is to be directed by TRON: Legacy helmer, Joseph Kosinski, adapted from his forthcoming graphic novel, Oblivion. William Monahan (The Departed, Body of Lies) has penned the script.

According to Variety:
“Cruise is set to star as Jack, a man who lives in the clouds above Earth and heads to its surface to repair drones that essentially keep the planet safe from an alien race that has all but wiped out humanity.
There are two key female characters — Victoria, Jack’s right-hand woman and lover who serves as his eyes and ears while he’s on repair missions, and Julia, his fiancee on Earth before the alien invasion.”
Horizons will be only the second alien/UFO movie in Cruise’s thirty-year acting career after his 2005 collaboration with Steven Spielberg on War of the Worlds.”

Hollywood box office heavyweight hitter, Tom Cruise is filmming Wanted Dead or Alive and Don’t Stop Believing for his new film, Rock of Ages, but can Cruise belt out a tune as well as artists like Stan Walker?
Apparently, according to Julianne Hough, Tom’s country singing co-star, “yes. He’s so in it. I’m not kidding, the guy can sing,” Hough tells MTV.
