Reese Witherspoon’s whanau grows - news: Entertainment reporter Julie Jordan reports:
“Reese Witherspoon is a mom for the third time. The actress gave birth to a son, Tennessee James Toth, on Thursday, Sept. 27, her rep tells People exclusively.
“Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth welcomed Tennessee James into their family today,” the rep says. “Both mom and baby are healthy and the entire family is thrilled.”
The baby is Witherspoon’s first child with her husband, whom she married in March 2011. She is already mom to Ava, 13, and Deacon, 8½, from her prior marriage.”

WHAT NICOLE KIDMAN THOUGHT OF MARRIAGE TO TOM CRUISE WITH THE NEW WATER FOR ELEPHANTS POSTER
While Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson, two top earning box office stars of 2011, canoodle for their latest Water for Elephants poster, Nicole Kidman in a rare moment, shares insights in to her decade married to Tom Cruise.
Says Nicole of their marriage, “I was never seeking to be a celebrity. But I was prepared to do that for love…It’s hard when you’re young. But I’m ready to give up anything for love, because ultimately, that is what you have.”
On damages: [via the UK Daily Mail] ”I knew he was a really big star, but after a while, to get to a real place in a relationship, that has to wear off. As a couple we were very private. We were not out a lot and we were very, very tight and that’s why we lasted ten years, which is a good amount of time, particularly when you get married at 23. That was a great relationship. It was great,’ she adds. ‘I think it ran its course.
Nicole Kidman admits she was unsure she would ever find love again after her high profile split with Tom Cruise ten years ago.
“I was really damaged and not sure whether that was ever going to happen again to me,” Kidman reveals in this month’s UK Marie Claire magazine.
[It's a good thing Nicole is being so sweet regarding Tom, because Cruise gave Kidman a half billion dollar divorce settlement, when they'd run their course together. How could Nicole see Tom any other way. It was of the main reasons why Hollywood is still listening to Nicole Kidman at 43 share her Pearls of wisdom as a leading light of this industry town. He may get a rough deal by press, may have never won himself an Oscar either, but Tom was very fair].
On her marriage to country Kiwi star Keith Urban, Kidman says: “I’m crazy in love,” she says. “I think you can live anywhere and do anything when you’re crazy in love. I’m very driven by falling in love. I fall in love and I’ll drop everything and change everything.”
On having more babies: “More.”

RYAN PHILLIPPE CONGRATULATES REESE WITHERSPOON WHO WILL MARRY HER AGENT TIM ROTH
“I’m very happy for both Reese and Jim.”I wish nothing but the best for the mother of my children.”–Ryan Phillipe congratulates Reese Witherspoon on her decision to marry her agent Jim Roth –New York Daily News.
All I can say is–Jim must be a better agent then we all thought in the H-Wood hood. Congrats. A nice switch up for Reese in getting ready for Natalie Portman and Annette Benning‘s potential Oscars face-off in 2011. If the nod goes Benning’s way–Jerry Brown, Governor-elect of Cali and his camp of backers will be more than stoked. If it goes Portman’s way (and you always need a strong contender to create a strong newly annointed Queen as in Annette putting her face forward for Nat’s Oscar’s bid)–than Portman is our newly anointed Angelina Jolie Queen-Peer of Tinsel Town. As there can only ever be one unique individual as Jolie is.
Either way, Reese and her camp and ensuring they’re looking the part. Engaged and preferably preggers is the Oscars trend for 2011 as Portman is in both situations right now as Hollywood’s rising star Queen engaged to African-born ballet dancer Benjamin Millepied. America needs to breed and get married again. That all sort of stopped the last two or three years. Economic stress is a total romance buzz killer. Whoever thought that up – should show their faces I reckon!
Isn’t Ryan Phillipe such a gentleman. That’s the spirit. Reese’s long time agent, Steve Dontanville is going to be stoked at Reese’s future husband’s occupation. Steve had signed Reese as a child actor. American stars getting married again aligns with the uber-trend of event of the year next year that being the wedding of Prince William Windsor to Kate Middleton. Huge, global romances as a trend, coming up! It appears that Portman and Millepied have been given the nod to give Wills and Kate a reflected run for their wedding money. Nice one! Portman’s mom and agent Shelley Stevens is believed to be ecstatic. But really this blog post is about Reese and Jim’s engagement joy per se. As these two live in Hollywood, a Jewish show biz town, I’m sure they won’t mind some scotch and a Rabbi having a world on this ‘big royal romance’ trend. :)
Writes Rabbi Jason Blog: “While Cyberspace is buzzing about whether Natalie Portman’s beau is a “Member of the Tribe” or not (ABC News reports his faith is unknown), New York City-based writer Marla Garfield is working the conspiracy theory angle. She wrote on Facebook: “I doubt that Millepied is even that guy’s real last name. In French, it means ‘a thousand feet,’ and the dude plays a dancer in ‘Black Swan.’ That’s just too ridiculous to be real. I bet his last name is Schwartzenbergerfeldowitz or something.” Lol!
To celebrate the moment, I guess this would call for some Doublewood Scotch Whiskey of The Balvenie Distillery of Scottish fame. REESE WITHERSPOON’S WATER FOR ELEPHANTS GETS A LATER RELEASE DATE
Water for Elephants will have to be quenched one week later than anticipated at the box office.
Fox has changed the release date for the film — starring Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson — from April 15 to the 22.
I wonder what films are dropping like they’re hot in Hollywood on the 15th then to make Water have it’s new debut date. Interesting stuff.

ABSOLUTELY TONGUE TIED IS HOW REESE WITHERSPOON DESCRIBES MEETING OBAMA
Entertainment Weekly has the scoop of how Reese Witherspoon describes meeting President Obama. “Absolutely tongue tied.”
On a tour of the White House with actor Paul Rudd, Reese was told: ‘the President wants to see you.’
“We went to the Oval Office, and there was Hillary Clinton having a meeting with Joe Biden. It was insane. Then Obama came out and he turned to Paul and said, I loved you in I Love You, Man. Paul was like, ‘I’m freaking out!’”
The President then asked Reese what she was up to in Washington. Trying to speak with him was overwhelming.
‘We’re doing a movie and…uh, I’m playing a character, who, uh…I’m working with Owen, uh…Owen… (I could not remember Owen’s last name. And Paul goes, ‘Wilson!’ Like it was a party game”).

REESE WITHERSPOON IN LIKE WATER FOR ELEPHANTS HEATS UP ROBERT PATTINSON’S FIRST OSCAR NOMINATIONS HOPES
Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson start their movie publicity for Water for Elephants via Germany of all places. It is the nation with the strongest dollar in the world right now, so maybe that’s a smart move on the Hollywood chess board.
They look good together. Cougar chemistry from Reesey.
Water for Elephants is the film based on the book, of when a veterinary student joins the circus and undergoes an internship of the heart while a locum. Surreal setting, like a Britney Spears concert with the potential to make $200 million plus. Spears has already proven a circus theme sells tickets.
Will this be Pattinson’s first Oscar nominated role? With a royal wedding from the UK about to be the most watched event on the planet this decade next year, for Pattinson, this has to be his debut Oscar nominated performance. It has to be Robbo’s Oscar momento, simply because the global pop cultural landscape–would have moved slightly more the UK’s way after Will and Kate’s wedding. To not include Pattinson in an Oscar line up of leading lads following next year–will make the Oscars look irrelevant.
Nice of Reese to help Pattinson out with her proven Oscar glow. No stars are born stars alone, they are made as well. This pairing is one such example. Britain and the American South–not a bad combo! With elephants from Africa and India, I wonder if there will be Russian Smokey The Bears too in this circus movie or White Chinese water tigers as well. Expect this to be a cinematic zoo of color and show biz lights underneath a big top circus tent. Two A-Listed trapeze stars, on top of the world – who walk the line. Hot.

I saw this tee shirt today at Urban Outfitters and it made me laugh-out-loud. I do like that message in America. It’s a good one.
