I had a great grand Uncle who was the Bishop of Sydney’s Anglican Church in Sydney once. His family were gifted importer-exporter wine merchants so being a Bishop wasn’t entirely the norm. He was 100% Scots stock originally. His name was Bishop David. (A relation George Cruickshank also was a Keble, Oxford educated Bishop too and served in Whangarei, Dunedin and Waiapu. St Andrews of Fife is where they’re from. A golf township today).

Stars of Nashville and Tennessee have been generating good online celebirty buzz of late. Benjamin Presley, Miley Cyrus, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Priscilla Presley and Lisa Marie Presley have all ranked in the top ten with news headlines in the last week. It’s an honor to have Rachel Hunter rank on this blog . A hero of most people my age group who grew up in NZ. And of course, Smilers youthful zing and Q’ori’s passionate beauty too for noble causes and earth preservation, is special to have on board a blog’s star mix.

No one is really sure why teenager Miley Cyrus, continues to fascinate the USA and the world so much as a star. Today, the kid is the no.2 most read American in the US. So what’s her appeal again?
I would say: Smiler’s creativity, lightening quick hick intelligence… oh and her beautiful eyes, are just three reasons why.
Going blonde is the kid’s press this week.

KITTY WELLS & STEVEN COVEY HAVE DIED
Stephen Covey the author of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People passed away today aged 79. Trailblazing country music singer, Kitty Wells, known for the hit, It Wasn’t God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels also died today aged 92.
Covey was a professor at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University at the time of his death. Wells was the Queen of Country music in her hey day. RIP.

KEITH URBAN’S SOUTH PACIFIC COUNTRY MUSIC TOUR NEWS – JUNE 2012
The Sydney Morning Herald focuses on Whangarei’s homegrown music talent, Keith Urban‘s recent appearance on The Voice reality TV talent series. SMH reflects on what this means for Australian people as an artist in a country where Billy Ray Cyrus still holds the no.1 single record for a country song on the ochre red nation’s country music charts history.
The newspaper notes today, “The Voice has shown people what a wonderful person he is – it’s opened up a whole new audience for him,” according to Urban’s tour promoter Michael Chugg.
The Nashville Tennesse and Los Angeles artist told KFI in a video log, “he’s chomping at the bit” to get back in the studio to record new songs. (Watch above). Aussies country music fans learned today, that Urban has added another Brisbane show to his The True Story So Far world tour.

She’s in fine fitness form and the no.1 voted American citizen on this blog for 2012.
The cheeky biker boots can’t hide the fact that she’s the sveltest red carpet star, Hollywood currently has in this fast-moving, always surreal, Tinsel Town minute.
But if Miley Cyrus gets any thinner… we’ll have to send Smilers a box of New Zealand cheeses… while farmers still own them in NZ. That might be a good idea… before the teenager’s much anticipated star-studded wedding.
Smilers is definitely ready to start taking action movie roles on in Hollywood, if she wanted to grow a film franchise.

TEENAGERS GETTING ENGAGED – MILEY CYRUS & LIAM HEMSWORTH ARE BETROTHED
The small coastal community of Phillip Island and Gippsland are celebrating today as their home boy, Australian-Hollywood actor Liam Hemsworth announces some special news.
Australian citizen and actor Liam Hemsworth has proposed to girlfriend Miley Cyrus, the teenage singer and actress told People.com.
“I’m happy to share the news with you all,” 19-year-old Cyrus said.
“I feel like all my dreams are coming true.”
Miley’s dad Billy Ray still holds the number 1 country music single on Phillip Island and across the rest of Aussie too. This couple are Aussie-American pop royalty already.
