THINK jOBS – ASHTON KUTCHER FILM TO PREMIERE AT SUNDANCE JAN 27th 2012, IN THEATERS APRIL

Ashton Kutcher Steve Jobs Biopic ThinkPlaying the life of a billionaire entrepreneur in a movie biopic is always going to come with a fair bit of pressure. Yet for one actor, the film is almost done and dusted and ready for its close up at a premiere.

The biopic jOBS, starring Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs, will hit theaters in April.

Open Road Films will release the film on behalf of Mark Hulme‘s Five Star Feature Films, which is putting up the marketing money. On Jan. 27, jOBS makes its worldwide premiere as the closing-night film of the Sundance Film Festival this month.

Directed by Joshua Michale Stern, jOBS chronicles Jobs’ ascension from college dropout to one of the most revered entrepreneurs of the 20th century. Matthew Whitely penned the script. The film also stars Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad, Lukas Haas, J.K. Simmons and Matthew Modine.

Source: HR.

The films no.1 message so far: THINK jOBS. Can’t wait to see it. :)

FC POLITICS. HARD HIT MILITARY & FAMILIAR HOLLYWOOD STABILIZER FILMS

Barack Hussain Lincoln Drudge Humor Dec 2012ObamaDrama – The Latest: So Hollywood movies (aka the Lincoln film) via Spielbergland are now being cited by Senators, when explaining a lead is needed to close the ‘fiscal cliff’ scenario in Washington DC.

On the ‘fc,’ the latest is raising taxes is not a compromise. Otherwise, how else will the $1 trilli vanillis of the Obamacare tax hike on Jan 1 get paid for?

Meanwhile the US military have found it rough in 2012. And could do with better caterers too.

Back in Spielbergland, it’s pretty lazy, low risk stuff. 2013 is another year of the sequel, prequel, remake, reboot.

The hood has been advised to keep things as familiar and stable as. That means, new talent finds it harder to get through a studio rigged gridlock. Good? Bad? Or the hegemony protectionism situation, again? The ingenuity of Hollywood must not stagnate – the city’s X factor. Then again a lot of good drama has moved to pay TV now, so perhaps the reboot path is a sound path for studios to take right now too?

[bonus: the fc gallup poll].

THE TEEN WHO ROCKS THE NORTH AMERICAN BOX OFFICE 2013

Taylor Lautner Alex Meraz and The Lads of Native American India Cinematic Representation

Once upon a time, a Mormon housewife, conservative mother sat down at her family table and wrote some books. Her vision would re-introduce a cast of Native American Indian actors into a film franchise series. Americans would be conscious of these stars again.

The franchise would need its own studio to spring up in Los Angeles to house the new stars’ talent and make the author’s books into the films.

Two stars in particular would stand tall, years later. This year Taylor Lautner has been named the sixth highest bankable star of the North American box office by Forbes magazine. When I see Taylor, I don’t know whose more amazing. His family, Taylor, or Stephenie Meyer for writing him into a visible presence in cinema. A cool story.

Pretty cool. Photo: STV.
