Come hell or high water, there was nary a big belt buckle, fringed boot or kerchief in sight. The textbook can teach the formula for country music but the real deal involves revealing something, anything, of your true self, as imperfect as it may be.
–budding writer Hennesey attends a concert and reveals some colloquial twang. Nice one.

They have the population mass (audiences) to do it. That is add value to the digital advertising cityscapes terrain. Australia is going to be more like LA. A visual cosmopolitan digital billboard cities tribe. Good for the media industry and real estate of brands. Graphene + solar wiring technology could be a good alternative too to the fossil fuels equation of what to do with electricity’s daylight? In times of global warming, you need to develop technology with the show biz side of life and market share.

So a few lads that have collaborated in the past with New Zealand’s own Keith Urban of country music local fun, jetted into New Zealand today. Woot!
The incomparable Boyz II Men vocalists are on a visit. I saw them many years ago now with Trinity Dodd (a Maori lassie now residing in the Brooke family’s part of the UK). Trinnie was at (world famous in New Zealand) Kristin high school then and Boyz II Men opened for Janet Jackson back in the day.
It was fun watching Trin totally buzz out on BIIM on a school night. She totally got their music years ago. I was more stuck on Janet’s hot brand of “dance wow,” back then. I liked the production values Janet wove together in a big budget show. She incited one’s producer side of the brain as to what can be achieved in entertainment in New Zealand. I realized we need to back our talent more. For me, that’s what I saw.
Anyway, Boyz II Men‘s message to NZ today is that large corporations (they were talking in a music context) often plough through their talent as CEO execs only want to take the money and keep churning stars through. They feel that they have been very lucky to have had a career as long as they have. When you think about it, they never set out to be mega-mainstream. They were always the bros whose blended vocals were always respected in the singing world. They are for real. The group is the USA’s solo artist’s dream guest stars, where good collaboration could be enhanced for variety – with the lads. (more…)
The mood: vintage Al Green with friends.

“Oh, but I’m feeling good, here beneath the pines of the Georgia woods.
What a surprise, here by your side… driving me crazy,” they sing.
I had a great grand Uncle who was the Bishop of Sydney’s Anglican Church in Sydney once. His family were gifted importer-exporter wine merchants so being a Bishop wasn’t entirely the norm. He was 100% Scots stock originally. His name was Bishop David. (A relation George Cruickshank also was a Keble, Oxford educated Bishop too and served in Whangarei, Dunedin and Waiapu. St Andrews of Fife is where they’re from. A golf township today).
Someday I'm gonna run across your mind, elevate your sense of freedom, in kinship rolling kind. If you think I'm kidding, I gotta gotta get you around to see my way, so much better in the long run, is my idea of fun maybe. Oh someday baby, someday.

Today, America and the Western world are celebrating the living legend of Rev. Al Green‘s gift of happiness through music, concurrently, with the sad passing of Ms. Etta James.
Here’s some JT. and the Rev. singing live in duet – Let’s Stay Together to keep those sentiments of honoring greatness… flowing. Boyz II Men‘s Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman and Wanya Morris provide harmonic vocals with Mr Keith Urban playing guitar.
Stay in Love with Love.

The dance club next-door in Auckland City is thumping pumping ramping amping, the meanest rave beats. Sounds quite good actually!
Then, I put on my ear phones and tune into some country music via Keith Urban of Whangarei City. Here’s Long Hot Summer.
Love the energy of the crowd in this music montage and the banjo at the end of this song. Let’s keep it chill.

Your beauty is beyond compare
With flaming locks of auburn hair
With ivory skin and eyes of emerald green
Your smile is like a breath of spring
Your voice is soft like summer rain
And I cannot compete with you, jolene
He talks about you in his sleep
There’s nothing I can do to keep
From crying when he calls your name, jolene

While Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson, two top earning box office stars of 2011, canoodle for their latest Water for Elephants poster, Nicole Kidman in a rare moment, shares insights in to her decade married to Tom Cruise.
Says Nicole of their marriage, “I was never seeking to be a celebrity. But I was prepared to do that for love…It’s hard when you’re young. But I’m ready to give up anything for love, because ultimately, that is what you have.”
On damages: [via the UK Daily Mail] “I knew he was a really big star, but after a while, to get to a real place in a relationship, that has to wear off. As a couple we were very private. We were not out a lot and we were very, very tight and that’s why we lasted ten years, which is a good amount of time, particularly when you get married at 23. That was a great relationship. It was great,’ she adds. ‘I think it ran its course.
Nicole Kidman admits she was unsure she would ever find love again after her high profile split with Tom Cruise ten years ago.
“I was really damaged and not sure whether that was ever going to happen again to me,” Kidman reveals in this month’s UK Marie Claire magazine.
[It's a good thing Nicole is being so sweet regarding Tom, because Cruise gave Kidman a half billion dollar divorce settlement, when they'd run their course together. How could Nicole see Tom any other way. It was of the main reasons why Hollywood is still listening to Nicole Kidman at 43 share her Pearls of wisdom as a leading light of this industry town. He may get a rough deal by press, may have never won himself an Oscar either, but Tom was very fair].
On her marriage to country Kiwi star Keith Urban, Kidman says: “I’m crazy in love,” she says. “I think you can live anywhere and do anything when you’re crazy in love. I’m very driven by falling in love. I fall in love and I’ll drop everything and change everything.”
On having more babies: “More.”

American born Kiwi-Aussie babies are quite cute really. People Magazine tends to agree too. Country star Keith Urban ‘shared an iPhone photo of wife Nicole Kidman cuddling with their 5-week old daughter at Sunday’s Screen Actors Guild Awards. “She just looks like her, don’t you think?” the country star asked reporters.’

Jason Davis is being held under arrest at Newport Beach, where dude was caught with an illegal substance.
All that TV time, for that result?
Rehab is a process. Even the WSJ made the new Rehab Album front page news today. Dr. Drew, host of “Celebrity Rehab,” reality TV show says, “Jason was honest about his struggles with his sobriety on the reunion show. Hopefully, now that there are legal conquesces, further treatment will be mandated, which he so desperately needs. As I said when I saw him Wednesday, we care for him very deeply and we are here for him.”
The arrest happens a day after the show’s reunion, where Davis said he was ‘sober.’
I met Jason once in Hollywood, when I was the publicist for TAG+ Jeans denim fashion show at Area night club. I had no idea who he was, who his family was, neither did I care. Yet, Jason manage to convince me that he was a celebrity of Hollywood and should be allowed to see the fashion show, even though his name wasn’t on the list.
I can’t believe how skinny dude is now. Let’s hope the staying sober part can follow the health and fitness and dieting regime he’s kept up. It’s weird putting Jason’s mug shot online today.
I guess Kiwi-Aussie Keith Urban is a good guy for Jason to think about. Keith goes to rehab meetings each week still in The Valley to remain sober. Nicole Kidman goes with him. It takes a lot of support to live life without props and find strength in being okay with yourself. Let’s just call this a ‘hiccup’ for Davis to overcome, then. Go here to read more about rehabbed American superstars once like young Jason today with the same challenges. Temptation never goes away for an addict. Diverting energy into better things with a paradigm shift of focus is what helps anyone overcome drugs, booze or any other addiction too.
I can’t judge Jason. I am totally 200% Starbucks coffee addicted. At least three venti cups a day. Shocking! :)
And certainly, don’t talk to me about loving New Zealand butter. Heck yeah!

Faith is such a beautiful Kiwi-Aussie name. A universal name most of us in the world believe in.
Michael K of the Dlisted blog reports: “TMZ reports thatNicole Kidman and Keith Urban have a newborn baby girl named Faith in their lives…. Baby Faith was born on December 28th via a surrogate. Keith and Nicole are her biological parents. They had this to say to TMZ:
“Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret. No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier.”
What a nice intro into the world for baby Faith.
Thanks Michael for the story via TMZ.
