HOLLYWOOD STARS AND GOOGLE YOGA – JAKE GYLLENHAAL CELEBRATES JENNIFER ANISTON’S 42ND BIRTHDAY IN NEW YORK
If I didn’t have Michael K of New York to refer to, I swear I wouldn’t know who Jennifer Aniston is dating next. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I once dated someone here in Hollywood, whose yoga teacher was the roommate of Minnie Driver in Malibu and who also was Jen‘s personal one-on-one yoga coach too. So, I felt like I knew Jen because I heard a lot of good things about her. These days though, Michael K’s blog let’s me know exactly what Jen’s up to on a daily basis. She appears to be a bit of a New York obsession.
Life & Style: tell us that Ms. Aniston “celebrated her 42nd birthday on Feb. 11 by having an intimate dinner with Jake Gyllenhaal in NYC.
The startlet took a break from her whirlwind promotional tour for her new film Just Go With It and made her way to The Spotted Pig restaurant where she dined in a private room with a group of friends and her former hunky co-star. “Jake and Jen looked really happy and really seemed to be enjoying themselves,” an eyewitness tells the Scene Queens. “They looked like they were strategizing a way to exit the restaurant probably because they didn’t want to be photographed together.” Shortly after their discussion Jen exited the restaurant with her friends in tow. Though Jake was not in the group, it is possible he could have snuck out the back door while no one was looking.

JAKE GYLLENHAAL TALKS HEATH LEDGER AND LOSING AN AUSSIE BRO
Often it’s hard letting people go we knew, that we would shoot the breeze with, the people we loved – who have died. In New Zealand for example, quite a few people lost loved one’s unexpectedly last year. Here’s Jake Gyllenhaal talking about Heath Ledger his costar and peer from Young Hollywood days a while back now: Says Jake:
“I do miss him. It was just us by this river in Calgary for a month, in the middle of nowhere. There were no hotels to stay in, so we lived in trailers out there in the wilds. We would make coffee together in the morning, eat together and sometimes we’d ride horses to work. We were out there alone and all we had was each other.” –Source. Pic source.

3 DAYS AGO I HAD A JOB AS A PART TIME WRITER IN HOLLYWOOD
“In Hollywood, you fast learn to spit out bullets–before you eat your breakfast”–Horiwood.
After getting a monetary offer to help on a script three days ago, I just got a text to say, I’m off the job. It’s Thanksgiving holiday weekend, and you get that text.
It makes me go… oh, that’s right, I’m in Hollywood. Of course this is going to happen.
MORE MS. HATHAWAY AND MR GYLLENHAAL
In Hollywood it’s one of the bains of this town, that you can never garner enough attention. Garnering in attention is an L.A artform few do better, because attention = money, reputation, fame, political effect–apparently.
Most days I find it rather exhausting tracking who needs more attention than others, because it all boils down to, for what purpose are you using your fame?
For example, Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal have produced not one but three magazine cover images for Entertainment Weekly. Subtext: we are three times hotter than other stars, for a laugh.
But are these two: a) saving the planet with an environmentally friendly message, or b) helping kids out in Rwanda like a singer like Brooke Fraser does each year or c) even feeding people in Los Angeles – that doubles as the Homeless Capitol of America?
Nah! They’re just doing it for themselves. One day though – we’ll wake up in a new America where stars do it differently. In the meantime, they are funny–and humor is perhaps the greatest American art form of them all.
