BRANDON BLACKSTOCK & KELLY CLARKSON ARE ENGAGED – DECEMBER 2012
The funniest American singer you can see live in concert whose mastery of a power ballad is second to none has announced she’s going to elope.
“Kelly Clarkson‘s wait for a ring is over,” jokes People Magazine. “I’M ENGAGED!!!!!” the singer announced Saturday on Twitter. “I wanted y’all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever.”
Fiancé Brandon Blackstock, a Nashville-based talent manager, began dating a year ago. Blackstock is the son of Clarkson’s manager, Narvel Blackstock, who is married to Reba McEntire.
Earlier this year Clarkson joked that she was so happy it was “ruining my creativity” and that she was now “writing all this happy” stuff.
As for her ceremony plans, she told Ellen DeGeneres: “We will totally, probably elope.”
She’s a hoot. Just what the USA needed to lighten the mood and lift the spirits at 2012′s end. :)

Swift’s appearance with The Eli Young Band was a readers’ favorite on the website this year. So definitely her country music side is what audiences still like.
Taylor’s pop music persona aint bad either. It’s really shining through in 2012. Congrats Taylor Swift & Tennessee.
