ANGELINA JOLIE THANKS LEBANON FOR ASSISTING WITH SYRIA’S VICTIMS OF CIVIL WAR, AFTER VISITING JORDAN
To act for humanity for the good, is the greatest kind of acting of all.

KIM KARDASHIAN, ELIZABETH TAYLOR FASHION PENCHANTS, ANGELINA JOLIE’S CLEOPATRA MOVIE THEMES
Angelina Jolie has a Cleopatra movie in the pipeline. Thus, Kim Kardashian has taken to covering off Dame Elizabeth Taylor‘s movie fashion style. The art of American celebrity being reinterpreted in Hollywood today. Elizabeth Taylor once played a famous version of the Egyptian leader for Hollywood years ago.
The Kardashians are always good for retail sales boosts in the U.S. Good on Kim.
Everytime I see Kim, I think of the very cool Armenian-American community of California. They are warm-hearted people like Maori and Polynesian communities are. Family oriented, most go to church too. They love dancing at clubs togehter, drinking almost Turkish strength coffee in elaborate and ornate demitasse cups. They like laughing lots, working in their own businesses together. They work and party together. Armenian-Americans are fiercely family oriented. Pride is in family. They like never being lied to. I like Armenian-Americans of California a lot. Being a merchant also runs in their veins strongly as a people. They are Good Peoples.
Their young people study financial management courses at night. Young adults are fiercely independant go-getters too in defining their own identity, returning it back within community though. When they marry and start families, their children go to school where they can learn the language of their culture, thus the new breed in Hollywood are bilingual American citizens. Young adults also have their own economy they grow.
The girls are raised to be extremely motherly. Almost overkill motherly-sweet and when it comes to biz, the women are incredible multi-taskers too. The boys are a bit gangsta tough and always funny. They all love Kiwi actor Temuera Morrison. Fancy that. Love them!

AMELIA EARHART’S 115th B’DAY – THE LOCKHEED ELECTRA10E STAR WHO PUSHED THE BOUNDARIES BEYOND LIMITS
Reuters notes today: Amelia Earhart who flew in a Lockheed Electra10E broke a lot of boundaries as an artist and aviator.
Today would have been Earhart’s 115th birthday.
CBS News noted: A US group lead a search that Hillary Clinton had previously endorsed to look for the pilot’s remains and Earhart’s plane. The mission was unsuccessful.
The International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery, still believes Earhart and her navigator crashed onto a reef off a remote island in the Pacific Ocean 75 years ago this month, its president had told The Associated Press on Monday.
“This is just sort of the way things are in this world,” TIGHAR president Pat Thrasher said. “It’s not like an Indiana Jones flick where you go through a door and there it is. It’s not like that – it’s never like that.”
The U.S. State Department had encouraged the privately-funded voyage, which launched earlier this month from Honolulu using 30,000 pounds (13,608 kilograms) in specialized equipment and a University of Hawaii ship normally used for ocean research.”
- – -
Earhart inspired on so many levels as a humanitarian artist. She inspired the idea of navigating your own potential, blocking out negativity and being an idea of global change.
She lived life beyond the limits of what society’s architectural design had prescribed in the day. Earhart’s message, she wrote across the skies. Airborne, as a writer of history, her body in momentum’s flight was her visionary pen.
Artists like Angelina Jolie, Hillary Clinton and any strong star that flies in planes a lot making a humanitarian difference in the world, perhaps now wear Earhart’s mantle. That’s what I reckon anyways.

ANGELINA JOLIE WANTS TO BE A HOBBIT FARMER NOW
Perhaps looking out for the burger chain supply needs of the USA, Angelina Jolie wants to be a farmer now.
Or, at least play a character that wants to control the farming countryside. Jolie is on the set of her Disney film Maleficent. Don’t be fooled by the Elfin hobbit-nod, ears! :)

SHILOH JOLIE-PITT’S BIRTHDAY – MAY 27 2012
Shiloh Jolie-Pitt turns six years of age, Sunday (North American time). This explains why at the time of writing, the third-generation Hollywood star is the no.1 celebrity name rating on this blog.
It only seems like yesterday that little Shiloh arrived at the Cottage Medi-Clinic Hospital in Swakopmund, Namibia. Her birth was similar to the days when Prince William and Prince Harry Windsor were born, in regards to the amount of fascination that people gave Shiloh’s arrival in the world. She instantly became one of the world’s most favorite magazine cover girls from the time young Shiloh arrived.
Observations, while living in Hollywood are that Shiloh’s birth caused the city to melt like fluffy marshmallows in cups of sweet hot chocolate. An aura of kindness and joy swept across Los Angeles. The dynasty of Hollywood’s star system shined over the city. (Hollywood actually really does care about stuff like that).
The peace Shiloh’s birth news brought to The City of Angels really did happen. In a quirky way, the child was like a satellite of peace from Namibia. Guys at the office in the Universal Building in North Hollywood, bragged about donating to Angelina’s favorite charities in Africa (guilt money) and all the thin-stick Hollywood girls in the neighborhood rushed out to get puppies that they’d names like “me-me” [sic] and Chloe. I stayed in the home of Papa Elie, a California proud patriarch, who was married to the gracious daughter of a Kentucky Senator. Margaret and Elie were founding members of the infamous Sierra Hiking Club. In his late 80′s, Papa Elie (whose mother Ramza had lived to a young 110), was nearing 90. This was a remarkable feat because due to a fire on a train, as a girl she’d missed her passage aboard the Titanic, days before it sunk. As Papa was of Hasbaya Lebanese and Canadian origin, home-made hummus, promegranites and copious amounts of fresh luscious fruit of California, defined our home’s daily diet while we watched Quiz Shows on TV. Dude still went to the gym three days a week too. Lol!
Papa Elie of California taught me that happiness happens when you choose it to, each day. He lived to make check-out girls working at superettes where he got his fruit from each day, smile. His own constant smile, a living witness of his faith in God. During these days staying with Papa Elie in Walt Disney’s hood, I worked at the entertainment red carpet events office with Jodi Hannah – a producer of Extreme Days -an extreme sports action-packed documentary. Hannah has a producing partner in Christchurch City, New Zealand. Jodi doubled too as a humanitarian mother who prayed each day (in the office) for lesser fortunate children to have a better life of opportunity in the USA before she began her work day. A remarkable person that works with Fortune 500 company sponsors, she creates events from the heart that do this. So with an Eli and a Hannah ever constant, the year Shiloh Jolie-Pitt was born, was a surreal moment, I’ll never forget.
The name Shiloh itself is also of significance in Jewish history as it was the name of the place where Samuel, Israel’s ancient prophet child was raised by Eli, the high preist of Israel at the temple. At a young age, the child Samuel would hear from God at Shiloh. Samuel went on to pray prayers that held back disasters and enemy onslaughts against Israel all of his days. He also was a judge and kingmaker. It was a time in history where people could not get could spiritual guidance easily in uncertain times (eg: they did not hear ‘the word of God’ in that time). So at a pivotal time in history the story goes: ”And the LORD appeared again at Shiloh, because the LORD revealed Himself to Samuel at Shiloh by the word of the LORD.” Clarity returned to Israel’s people in murky times again.
Wayne Blank of Keyway.Ca websites defines Shiloh Jolie-Pitt’s name or origin as being: “After the Israelites crossed The Jordan River into the Promised Land under the leadership of Joshua, The Tabernacle, with The Ark Of The Covenant inside, was established at Shiloh. The name means peaceful, or tranquil, and no doubt it was with The Lord’s Presence. No place on earth could have been more secure. It was “God’s country,” and they were “God’s people.”" Or, in other words, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt is named after the place where peace totally jammed.
Her birth is perhaps a reminder that peace comes when you pray it into being each day and choose happiness by living life more peacefully with a smile.
[Happy Birthday SJP].

THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY MUSEUM OF ART’S CHINESE GALLERIES ARE ENGAGING
A private viewing of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Chinese Galleries was the venue of first sighting where Angelina Jolie chose to showcase her engagement ring two nights ago, April 11. Angelina and Brad Pitt took their son Pax to see the artwork in a bid to warm Americans up to learning more about China and to engage more.

BRAD PITT & ANGELINA JOLIE GET ENGAGED
[Photos Getty Images, 20th Century Fox]
After seven years, three adoptions and two pregnancies together and ducking and diving their way through millions of tabloid-styled headlines worldwide, Hollywood’s favorite humanitarian, movie-star pairing have announced an engagement.
“Yes, it’s confirmed,” Cynthia Pett-Dante, Pitt’s manager, told USA TODAY in a statement. “It is a promise for the future, and their kids are very happy. There’s no date set at this time.” And yes, she confirms that Pitt designed the ring.
Earlier, Beverly Hills jeweler Robert Procop confirmed to USA TODAY that he helped Pitt, 48, design a custom diamond engagement ring for Jolie, 36. “Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a yearlong collaboration with Robert. He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so Robert was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suit Angelina’s hand,” Procop said in a statement. “Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution. The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality.”
How thoughtful. More here.

McDONALDS & A MOVIE – ANGELINA JOLIE’S HANDS ON PARENTING STYLE – MARCH 2012
A year ago, she was a jet-setting parent traveling the world. In 2012, Angelina Jolie is giving her children a taste of the California hood. On the activities list? A pit stop at McDonalds and a movie on Hollywood Blvd for her girls.
To be honest, it would be more like a Baja Fresh pit stop - if really doing the Hollywood thing today as Hollywood does.

ANGELINA JOLIE COVERS THE MARCH ISSUE OF MARIE CLAIRE 2012
Her humanitarian work is what the word most admires about Angelina Jolie, still, in 2012.
Like Legatum Group‘s global economic work, developing new tiers of finance and investment areas most needed in the world, Jolie as a Hollywood artist goes to the places that are silent and helps give voice to global humanitarian concerns.
This has always been Jolie’s best Hollywood look.

BRAD PITT – MONEYBALL PRESS JUNKET – LOS ANGELES
De ja vu Hollywood moment of the day: Just Jared website reported that a press junket was held for the Moneyball film today. Writes Jared:
“Brad Pitt walks with a cane as he arrives for a question and answer session for his film Moneyball on Monday (January 16) in Los Angeles. The night before, the 48-year-old actor attended the 2012 Golden Globe Awards with his partner Angelina Jolie. They both looked stunning!
Of the Awards show Pitt said, “It’s nice to see people come together.”

ANGELINA JOLIE WINS PRODUCERS GUILD AWARD
Reuters India reports: “(Reuters) – Hollywood movie producers are honoring Angelina Jolie‘s Bosnia war film “In the Land of Blood and Honey” with a special award for its portrayal of social issues.
The Producers Guild of America said on Tuesday that the movie, Jolie’s directing debut which she also wrote and co-produced, would be given the 2102 Stanley Kramer Award.
Established in 2002 in memory of the Hollywood director, the award is given annually to a movie producer whose work “illuminates provocative social issues in an accessible and elevating fashion.”
“‘In the Land of Blood and Honey’ is an extraordinary film that portrays a complex love story set against the terrors of the Bosnian War, especially towards women,” Producers Guild presidents Hawk Koch and Mark Gordon said in a statement.
The movie tells a tale of love between a Serb man and a Muslim woman before the 1992-1995 Bosnian war who later meet in different circumstances when he is an army officer and she is his detainee.”"
The New Zealand Herald adds. “The head of a group for Serbs held prisoner during Bosnia’s 1992-95 war says Angelina Jolie’s movie In the Land of Blood and Honey should be banned in the Serb-run part of the country.
Branislav Djukic of the Bosnian Serb Association of Camp Prisoners said that although he has seen only the trailer, he can already say the movie “is showing lies” and portraying Serbs as the only ones who raped women during the war.
Jolie’s movie will be released in the US on December 23 and is a drama about a Serb soldier who finds his ex-lover, a Muslim Bosnian woman, among sex slaves in a camp.
The movie was praised by a selected audience of 11 non-Serb war victim groups who saw it in Sarajevo earlier this month.”
The PR machine is in full swing for Angelina’s directorial debut. Worldwide media mojo – for art and a good cause.

SNL – MAYA RUDOLPH, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE PARODY IVY BLUE CARTER’S BIRTH WITH BON IVER SHOUT OUTS
Did you?
See Justin Timberlake semi-cover Bon Iver? JT performed a parody of Holocene on SNL tonight where wrestling “the no.1 Justin of the Music World title back,” he mimicked Justin Vernon as part of his tribute sketch about Beyoncé and Jay-Z‘s new baby, Blue Ivy Carter.
Also on “parody roast” was Brad & Angelina, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift. At the show’s close, JT returned holding a sign that said, “I Heart Bon Iver.”
One of China’s most loved American celebrities, Maya Rudolph who vowed not to revive her popular Whitney Houston impersonation ever again, hosted the Saturday Night Live episode where Sleigh Bells were special guests. The group sung Comeback Kid and End of the Line from their Reign of Terror album. The Audio Perv has footage.
So… if you missed all of that on an American Saturday, then you’re a slack and pitiful excuse of an American, if on Sunday Kiwis aross the world in New Zealand can keep up with all that. ;)
Although he can be brutally mean, I think JT has the SNL parody market cornered and Maya Rudolph, the hosting gig in the “Study. Nearly Flat” 未来的金色城堡.
Seriously though… freakin crazy Americans! I haven’t laughed so hard in two weeks!
I think JT certainly has his “no.1 Justin of music” title safely back, after this bold sketch. A nice tribute to the Knowles-Carter tribe, who I’m sure would have this clip on repeat on TiVo and be laughing the hardest. Well done!
