STEM CELL RESEARCH AUTEUR & BONE MARROW TRANSFER – CANCER COMBATANT PIONEER DIES
E. Donnall Thomas, the scientist who developed groundbreaking work into bone marrow transfer and stem cell research to improve the bloods of cancer sufferers, has died.
A genius, Thomas came up with the idea and set about seeing it through. The medical technology has saved many lives due to his thinking. Thomas was the author of Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation, a bible for his peers in medicine.
Colleagues described Thomas as “an incredibly brilliant individual.” He was known to deflect praise to his team. A humble man.
His work is sought after in Hollywood, as A-List stars regularly get cures for their bodies ailments with intensive stem cell research repair work. A friend Lea has devoted her life to this work in California. She’s amazing. A cool story of Thomas. He was 92.
