MARIA TUTAIA’S WINNING SMILE

One of my nephews, 22, like most Polynesian lads, thinks that athlete, Maria Tutaia, ‘aint half bad.

A star of New Zealand’s netball sporting code, MT is currently South Africa bound, in her next sport’s appearance. Smiles aplenty.

The sports landscape in NZ has become a lot more professional overnight with AIG backing a major sports code in NZ unitl 2018, raising the bar of NZ sport to a new level.

Increased sponsorship is now needed for MT’s team buds in their sports code. Who is going to step it up and increase the potential for netball then? In the meantime, Maria Tutaia’s smile is center court today as a model Kiwi. So sweet.
