JEREMY RENNER IN THE BOURNE LEGACY – ON TRACK TO OPEN $45M+ DEBUT BOX OFFICE

Universal’s The Bourne Legacy is off to a strong start at the domestic box office, where it is on track to gross between $15 million and $18 million on Friday for a weekend debut in the $45 million range.

Bourne Legacy is a key test for Universal, which is looking to reinvigorate its marquee franchise with Jeremy Renner in the lead role as Aaron Cross. Renner is also rumored to be signed to Mission: Impossible 5 too.
