DAD’S FISH & CHIPS START UP GUIDANCE
I chilled with my dad today. He shared. In his 70′s, dad is doing a start up.
Wow!
Different people have been coming to see him. They have been giving dad messages.
He is the most rational person I know. At times, infuriatingly so.
An ingrained, stubborn, Pakeha rationailty.
Some of the messages given are in the form of tohu (dreams and visions).
Beautiful promises.
Esoteric.
Authentically communicated gifts of guidance.
Like parts of a compass being presented in pieces to dad.
A spontaneous unorchestrated symphony, just for dad.
One piece, he gifted to me over fish, chips, sausages and chicken nuggets on a day that Jim Hickey, our weather man described as thundering rain, was this one:
The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, “Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever. I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted. Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you.”
So Abram went to live near the great trees of Mamre at Hebron, where he pitched his tents. There he built an altar to the Lord.

A Nigerian surgeon is one of dad’s best friends at the moment. Dad is always surprising. I have no idea what the gift means. Yet after the dust settles across our family and the land, I’m sure I will.
