LIFTING CHILDREN’S EDUCATION TO THE NEXT LEVEL WITH PRIVATE INVESTMENT – SIR ROBERT JONES, GARETH MORGAN, SAM MORGAN CAN’T WAIT TO DO MORE
Sir Robert Jones and Gareth Morgan did some huff, puff n’ go speel - for the homies of the hoods where they first started from in New Zealand.
Bob played grumpy smurf telling lower earners children (in the low decile schooling system) to lift their game with zero support and Gareth played eco-conscious humanitarian with more soul. Young Sam Morgan appeared too in the story by Jehan Casinader. Watch here.
My thoughts: If Beverly Hills can send a US$50 million message towards community services this week from the 90+ year-old set, then that’s a good standard to emulate maybe. Giving should not be a complusion, just something you do when you see an opportunity to invest in a future legacy that’s noble. Children are always that.
What am I trying to say? Okay, with all due respect to Sir Bob and his friends… pony up or get off Nathan‘s Waka and move to Switzerland! Come back when you regain your head.
Seriously though, we’re in that mode of a new rennaisance, where we are committed to fast-tracking NZ for a younger generation that needs major investment into, after the stripping of the GFC-allowed years, that made the wealthy kinda numb, grumpy – and even better actors than they were before… at doing stuff all for others.
ps: Loved the pipe! Classic.
On the IT front: To close the digital divide in lower decile schools – which one of the three names mentioned above wants to lead a charge to get every kid a computer and other IT necessities – who may not have one in lower decile scenarios?
This could help these children towards a more modern world of learning?
If we don’t help them, then it is us who are lower. Right?! Someone is only ‘high’ whenever you help another up. Or be in the active and constant acts of helping others up and walking along side.
(Nice role playing in the news story. Made me laugh! Funny curmudgeoning old school, reality “round table” TV … complete with white computer mouses too!)
[Context of above: For all the three names mentioned have done already and continue to do unbeknowns daily for children, thank you and rock on! Let's keep it going].
