OLYMPICS SPORTS MILITARY – LONDON OLYMPICS 2012
Now that everyone’s “scared”, the British government throws its troops in for security duties at the London Olympics 2012 to assuage any doubts.
The price of security is increasing in a violent video games imbalanced world. Sports events and military funding allocating from sports spend seem to go hand-in-hand these days.
Britain has already spent some 9 billion pounds on the Games and much of the early focus will fall on how the city can cope with such a massive influx of visitors, four years after a Beijing Games noted for its gleaming new airport and infrastructure.
