NICOLE RICHIE IS A FASHION DESIGNER FOR PREGNANT MOMS
Because her husband, Joel Madden just gets more tattoos and tweets so much, Nicole Richie is the major bread winner in her family. Just kidding.
But Richie is spreading her pregnant wings into the fashion world with a maternity line called a Pea In The Pod. Cute!
She says: ”A Pea in the Pod is such a well known company for pregnant women. They carry great lines, and so when they asked me to create a line for them I was really excited and eager to do it… You really feel like you have to change your whole wardrobe when pregnant. And that’s the last thing a woman wants to go through. So I really tried to make this line to get women excited about wearing clothes….It feels great to see everything come to life. It’s the best feeling in the world to have your visions and dreams come together. I’m excited for people to see them. I just hope that people like it.”
The clothes aren’t too steeply priced. For example, a tank top is selling for $48 and dresses for $148.
From her DUI days in young Hollywood, hasn’t Nicole Richie come a long, long way. She’s so responsible these days. Nicole and Joel’s second child is due in two months time. A Pea in The Pod, hits clothing stores this Friday, the same day as GI Joe hits movie theaters.
