DONALD TRUMP SAVES CARRIE PREJEAN AS MISS CALIFORNIA
In Donald Trump’s press conference with Carrie Prejean, The Donald allowed Carrie Prejean to keep her crown as Miss California, Miss USA.
From the questions of journalists to Trump and Prejean, Carrie Prejean cited the ‘hidden agenda’ of judge number 8, as being a factor in the competition that had lead to the controversy that still rages, which Trump acknowledged cost Prejean in judges overall marks. Understandably, Judge #8 had scored Carrie extremely low. It appears that Donald is reminding both Perez Hilton and also his pageant man, Keith Lewis, that Prejean is his ‘contractual property,’ for a year and not theirs to mangle her image and persona so freely as they’d both wanted to.
It did appear that Prejean was being bullied by Mario Lavandeira and Keith Lewis in their run-away PR and Prejean’s right to state her opinion (whether we agree with it or hated it in her answers). This is such a controversial issue in America at the moment, and you can both sides of the coin. (oh… hi Keith! :) ) Do you think Prejean should keep her crown? Has Donald Trump made the right decision, in leaping to her defense?
